Isao our guide was amazing

Incredible experience! The guides were amazing and are what truly made this an unforgettable trip. Brian was extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic guide for all the archaeological sites and Machu Picchu. His expertise in the history and culture was so impressive. Efrain was also a fantastic guide. He kept the mood of the whole group light, even when we were tired. He should be promoted to a head guide position! The chefs were also outstanding. Each meal was varied, delicious, and accommodating to multiple dietary restrictions in our group. We could not have done this trek without the help of the porters. It came to our attention that nearly all of the porters working for G Adventures have not seen Machu Picchu themselves, as it is too expensive for them. They depart after breakfast on the final day and do not continue with the group to Machu Picchu. Our only recommendation to G Adventures is that they give each porter a Machu Picchu ticket upon hire. We chose G Adventures because the research showed they take good care of their porters (especially compared to some other groups), and while this did seem apparent in some aspects, we strongly advise that perhaps the most important people of this company, be able to see Machu Picchu for themselves- as it is what this entire company is structured around. Overall, we would recommend G Adventures- especially tours led by Brian and Efrain- to everyone.
