Ban Gioc Waterfall 2 Days 1 Night Group Tour From Hanoi - JP

Our recent trip was a bit challenging because went during rainy weather, which limited our visit Ban Gioc Waterfall and Cao Bang. I think it's best to visit between Sepember to December when the waterfall is clearer and more beautiful. Our tour guide, Mr. Son, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. As for the driver, Tuan Anh, He was excellent - a skilled driver, especially on moutain roads. Regarding accommodation, we stayed at Sunny Hotel. It's a 3 star hotek, but being a 3-star in a mountainous region, it's understandably not a par with a 3-star hotel in the city. However, the roos were decent and clean. We had a buffet breakfast. I noticed that when there are fewer guests, the buffet offers fewer dishes, but when the hotel is crowed, there's a greater variety. The breakfast was quite good. Regarding the dining experience, I found that the restaurants arranged for us were modest but served delicious local moutain specialties, which suited our tastes well. Overall, we were completely satisfied with the quality of the service, despite the weather not being ideal. Thanks to Ms Jennie for support us on the trip. We will definiely recommend you to our friends.

The nearby Nguom Ngao Cave system extends over 2100 meters featuring naturally formed limestone formations. In Phuoc Sen village local Nung craftspeople continue their traditional blacksmithing work. A TourRadar traveler noted "Ban Gioc Waterfall was really impressive and worth the long travel times. The falls were stunning and the boat ride getting close to feel the spray was unforgettable."
What's the best time of year to visit Ban Gioc?
September through October brings the highest water volume to Ban Gioc with comfortable temperatures between 20-25°C. The waterfall also draws fewer crowds from February to April when the weather remains mild though water levels decrease. Vi's Boutique Hotel in Cao Bang city serves as a convenient base for waterfall visits. According to a TourRadar traveler "this is such a great chance to get off the beaten track and immerse yourself in nature."
What types of accommodation are available near Ban Gioc?
Local families from the Tay and Nung communities welcome guests into traditional stilt house homestays like Mr Linh's in Ba Be and Mr Kim's in Cao Bang. Accommodation at the homestays was simple but clean and the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming."
How long should I plan to stay in Ban Gioc?
Tours typically dedicate 2-3 days to explore Ban Gioc combining visits to Ba Be Lake and Cao Bang. The 6-8 hour journey from Hanoi makes a minimum 2-day stay practical for experiencing the waterfall caves and villages. As one reviewer noted "Due to the long travel times from Hanoi it's best to plan at least 3 days to fully appreciate the region without feeling rushed."
