Our 14-day Costa Rica family program really delivers on wildlife and active experiences. Starting at Irazu volcano, you'll explore different environments including Tortuguero's waterways - our groups regularly see howler monkeys, spider monkeys and lots of birds here. You'll spend time in Monteverde's cloud forest looking for the rare resplendent quetzal and visit Corcovado National Park where white-faced capuchins, coatimundi and tapirs live. Our travelers especially like watching sea turtles nest (June through September), joining cooking classes and zipping through the forest canopy on well-maintained lines.
