- Great Himalayan Trail Trek - 34 Days
Wonderful scenery in a more remote part of Nepal. Very challenging getting over multiple passes this year with lots of snow at the higher elevations. This was the first time Mount Adventure Holidays has done this leg of the GHT. I'm sure there will be some adjustments going forward. Very happy with my guide Pasang and the Sherpas Ashim and Nima. Many decisions had to be made on the fly and we were able to overcome difficult trail navigation and some severe weather. Met some very interesting locals and other trekkers that made the experience even better.
- Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek
This was a slightly shorter version of the full circuit, 2 full weeks instead of 3. Pasang Sherpa and his wonderful team gave us an outstanding support all the way through the 180 km trek. They were not only very well organized, but also able to adjust and find solutions to all the challenges we had to face along the circuit. We had a wonderful time together.... and enjoyed the happiness and the positive spirit of the group all the way through. Great job!
This was our third trek in the Himalayas so we can make a comparison. The organization of trekking, guide and porter did everything to make us come back home with the best memories. Our guide Nima is very experienced and we have always felt very safe. We can certainly recommend this company if you are going to the Himalayas. Previously we did a trek to Everest BC and Manaslu Circuit. It's hard to say whether Kanchenjunga trek is more beautiful. Simply....is different. We liked the jungles and small villages where local people cooked us. The view from Oktang to Kanchenjunga is wonderful and we will never forget it for the rest of live. Certainly KBC is more wild. Much less tourists compared to the EBC, which was great for us. Thank you so much Nima and MMt Company that you made our holidays great.
