10 Day Scandinavia Itinerary, incl. Copenhagen and Helsinki
The 12-city Nordic tour spans 10 days. Highlights include Copenhagen's Nyhavn, Norway's Sognefjord, Stockholm's Gamla Stan, and Helsinki's markets. Approx. $200 per day includes breakfast buffet and stays at Moxy Bergen and Scandic Grand Marina.

- Days 1-2
Copenhagen and Danish Countryside
Start your journey in Copenhagen. Visit the Little Mermaid statue early to avoid crowds. One traveler suggests: "Visit Tivoli Gardens in the evening when the lights create a magical atmosphere - but book tickets online to avoid long queues." On day two, take a trip across the 20km bridge to Jutland and stop in Odense to see H.C. Andersen's House. You'll need good walking shoes for Copenhagen's cobblestone streets.

- Days 3-4
Norwegian Coast
Take the 3-hour ferry from Hirtshals to Kristiansand. If you get seasick, bring motion sickness tablets. You'll see beautiful coastal views on your way to Stavanger. When in Bergen, start your day with a ride on the Fløibanen funicular up Mount Fløyen for clear fjord views. Local tip: Skip the expensive Bergen Fish Market and try the small seafood restaurants in Bryggen instead.

- Day 5
Norwegian Fjords
Your day includes a cruise through Sognefjord. Pack layers because temperatures change a lot between the valley and higher spots. The Borgund Stave Church visit includes some uphill walking on rough ground. Plan to eat lunch during the Gudvangen-Aurland cruise so you don't miss any sightseeing time.

- Days 6-8
Stockholm
After seeing Oslo's parks and green spaces, you'll have plenty of time to explore Stockholm. Get to Gamla Stan early before cruise ships arrive. The Vasa Museum is less crowded in the afternoon. A recent visitor shared: "The Stockholm subway art tour was an unexpected highlight - get a 24-hour transit pass to explore multiple stations."

- Days 9-10
Finnish Coast
10 Day Scandinavia Itinerary, incl. Copenhagen and Helsinki
Six Nordic capitals across 4 countries unfold over 10 days, featuring Copenhagen's Christiansborg Palace and Helsinki's Lutheran Cathedral. Premium hotels like Imperial Copenhagen and Radisson Blue Aleksanteri provide comfort between guided tours and local cuisine.

- Days 1-2
Copenhagen
Start exploring Denmark's capital where bikes rule the streets. "The rush hour of designer-clad cyclists is something you won't see anywhere else!" Visit Christiansborg Palace before 10 AM to beat the crowds. Check out the Little Mermaid statue and Tivoli Gardens (open mid-April to mid-September). The gardens are most beautiful in the evening when all the lights are on.

- Day 3
Copenhagen to Oslo
- Days 4-5
Oslo
Visit Frogner Park in the morning light to see Vigeland's sculptures at their best. The Oslo City Hall is worth your time. "The Nobel Peace Prize ceremony venue was impressive, but go before 11 AM to avoid cruise ship crowds." The Viking Ship Museum is best in late afternoon when the tour groups leave.

- Days 6-7
Stockholm
- Days 8-10
Helsinki
Take an overnight ferry from Stockholm. Book an upper deck cabin to avoid engine noise and get better views. Start your Helsinki mornings at the harbor's open-air market. Visit the Lutheran Cathedral and Sibelius Monument. A previous visitor advised: "Take the ferry to Suomenlinna fortress island - but check the weather forecast as it can get windy."

Treasures of Scandinavia 10 Day
Seven Nordic cities across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden unfold over 10 days, including Copenhagen, Aarhus, Stavanger, Bergen, Oslo, Karlstad, and Stockholm. The Bergen Railway carries you from Voss up to Myrdal station at 900 meters, then you'll take the famous Flåmsbana down to Flåm village.

What people love about 10-day Nordic / Scandinavia tours
- From Copenhagen to Helsinki
The itinerary is good, but some famous spot was missing. Some tour guide's introduction in English was not clear.
- Northern Capitals
Colleen was a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide, as were the specialist guides that joined us at each city. I would have liked more stopping and immersion at the places that we drove by. and really would have liked to have had more time in Oslo. Though I wasn't particularly looking forward to the cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki, it ended up being quite enjoyable. The hotels were all conveniently located, though the Imperial in Copenhagen is in need of redecorating. This was the first tour that I have taken other than those that I took with students when I was teaching. If I go on a tour again, I think that I would rather be in a smaller group.
