- Day 1
Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
Land at Ben-Gurion Airport where your transfer will be waiting. The drive to Jerusalem takes about an hour. Plan to arrive before 3 PM to avoid rush hour traffic. Your evening is free to explore the Mahane Yehuda Market. After sunset, the market transforms into a lively spot full of local restaurants and bars.

Masada and Dead Sea
Leave at 7 AM for Masada. Take the morning cable car for the best photos before the harsh desert sun hits. One traveler shared: "Bring at least 2 liters of water per person and a hat - the desert heat is intense even in winter." For your Dead Sea experience, head to Ein Bokek beach with its modern facilities. Skip shaving for 24 hours before swimming to protect your skin from the salt water.

Visit the Western Wall before 11 AM to avoid intense sun. Remember to dress modestly with knees and shoulders covered.

The northern drive takes about 2 hours. Start at the Church of Annunciation in Nazareth before exploring the Sea of Galilee sites. Visit Yardenit baptismal site where you can rent towels and white robes if you want to participate. End your day at Eilat airport for your flight to Jordan.

Cross into Jordan early when the border opens at 8 AM. The visa process might take an hour. Start your Petra visit by 9 AM through the Siq canyon. A visitor advises: "The walk from the entrance to the Treasury is about 2 km on uneven ground - wear proper walking shoes and bring snacks as food inside is limited."

Start your morning walking down the Mount of Olives for great views of Jerusalem's Old City. The path has steep, uneven steps so wear shoes with good traction. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane before 10 AM to enjoy it before tour buses arrive. Bring plenty of water since Jerusalem gets hot even in winter.

Masada & Dead Sea
Take the first cable car to Masada at 8 AM to avoid peak heat. You'll need 2-3 hours to see the fortress properly. For the Dead Sea, bring water shoes to protect against sharp salt crystals. Skip shaving for 24 hours before swimming and keep your head above water. The water feels best between 3-5 PM when it's warmest.

Nazareth & Sea of Galilee
The trip north to Nazareth takes about 2 hours from Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Annunciation first thing since tour groups fill it by mid-morning. Jordan River baptism sites at the Sea of Galilee are quieter in the afternoon. If you plan to be baptized, bring modest swimwear.

See Caesarea's Roman ruins early before it gets hot. You'll need advance reservations to visit the inner areas of the Bahai Gardens in Haifa. Finish your day in Acre's Crusader city and its underground tunnels which stay cool. Pack a light jacket for the Rosh Hanikra grottoes since they can be cool and damp.

In the beginning of the tour was not well organize. Nobody was waiting for us in the airport but in the parking lot. It was really stressful to me because I waited 2:30 minutes for them to pick me up. The hotel was dirty and there was no restaurant to eat. I had to walk a block away to have breakfast from a restaurant that they partner.

We explored parts of Israel and Jordan in early October 2023. The trip was coordinated by Tour Radar and Abraham Tours. We stayed at two Abraham Hostels on this tour ( one Tel Aviv and one in Jerusalem) as well as a Bedouin Camp in Jordan. The tours in Israel included Old CIty of Jaffa, Old Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea. All amazing sites to see. We travelled into Jordan on the three day tour and saw/explored Mount Nebo, Petra and Wadi Rum. I can honestly say that all of the tours we did were some of the best i have ever done. The history and the scenery was spectacular. The food that was included/served was a little repetitive at the various places, however was pretty good (nobody got sick) and it would appear that Abraham Tours had sourced some of the cleanest/nicer places to eat. I would certainly condsider booking with Tour Radar/Abraham Tours in the future.
