21 Days in UK & Ireland, incl. London and Edinburgh
A grand 21-day tour showcases Britain's finest cities. Walk across London's Tower Bridge, wander York's medieval Shambles, and stroll Edinburgh's Royal Mile. The tour costs around $2,300 and includes stays in 8 cities, rail transport, and expert travel guides.

- Days 1-3
London
Start in Westminster where most major sites are within walking distance. Get to Westminster Abbey right when it opens at 9:30 AM to avoid the crowds. The Tube from Heathrow to central London takes about an hour. Buy an Oyster Card at the airport to save money. The Piccadilly Line is most direct but gets busy. If you're arriving during rush hour, consider taking the Heathrow Express instead.

- Days 4-5
York
Take the 4-hour LNER train from London King's Cross to York. Choose an east-facing seat to enjoy the countryside views. The York City Walls walk takes about 2 hours. Start at Bootham Bar entrance and go clockwise. A recent visitor said: "The early evening ghost tour from The Shambles was actually historically fascinating, not just spooky stories. Dress warm - you're standing still a lot."

- Days 6-8
Edinburgh
The 2.5-hour train ride goes along the coast. Sit on the right side to see the sea. Book Edinburgh Castle tickets online to avoid the entrance lines. The best time to hike Arthur's Seat is in the morning when the wind is calmer. The easiest way up is from the east side near Dunsapie Loch. Visit the Royal Mile before 10 AM or after 5 PM to avoid the crowds.

- Days 9-10
Glasgow
- Days 11-12
Belfast
- Days 13-14
Galway
- Days 15-17
Dublin
The direct train from Galway takes 2.5 hours. Visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College first thing in the morning. The lines can get very long by midday. The Guinness Storehouse is less crowded after 3 PM. Stay in Temple Bar if you want nightlife. Choose Smithfield or Stoneybatter for quiet evenings.

- Days 18-19
Liverpool
- Days 20-21
London

What people love about 3-week UK and Great Britain tours
- Grand Tour of Britain & Ireland
This trip was absolutely AMAZING! PROS: Tour guide was phenomenal!! Extremely knowledgeable! I would only asked that she would focus on what is going on on that day! Don’t incorporate the itinitery of future days because it can become very confusion! She was extremely friendly and funny; the driver was great, although he could have SMILED a little more. He was simply laser focus on his job; majority of hotels were in the city center or not very far from public transportation and easy access to places of interest CONS; Lousy food except for street food; mediocre hotels, but I was ok with that; Carrying your own luggage 95% of the trip to include up and down stairs; not enough time in great places such as Tramore, Galway and Liverpool! We could have alleviated other places in order to enjoy more time in other places such as Tramore, Liverpool, Killnary, Galway, etc. One of the most important things lacking on this trip was PERSONAL HYGIENE! People could have used better hygiene when sneezing, coughing and even yearning! Because of this lack of hygiene, people were getting sick like crazy! The tour guides should emphasize the importance of hygience in order for ever to enjoy the trip they paid for! I felt so sorry for the elderly people who struggle due to illness and stayed behind multiple times. Please reinforce good traveling hygiene on a charter bus! A lot of time is spent on the bus, but now I understand why. Overall it allowed us all to get necessary REST due to the time zone difference. Even though I have cons, I rated this trip on the overall picture that was worth my money!
- UK & Ireland: Panoramas & Pubs
Did this tour in 2019 and loved it b. I was able to see everything I wanted and even more that I never knew about The guide was amazing. She had handouts that detailed what we would see every day and would give a background on everything I was super impressed and intend to do other tours with this company
- Britain and Ireland Panorama (London Overnights)
Tour was fabulous...hit many highlights on our bucket list for these 4 countries. Pace was good...tiring but necessary to cover the miles. Would travel again with Travalgar.
