- Days 1-2
Paris
Start in the City of Light with an evening drive to see the lit-up Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe. Your second day is perfect for a morning walking tour through local neighborhoods. Book your Eiffel Tower tickets online at least 2 months ahead if you want the quieter sunset time slots.

Loire Valley
Take a 2-hour drive to see the Gothic cathedral in Chartres before heading to the Loire Valley. Visit Château de Chambord for its unique double-helix staircase. For better photos with smaller crowds, go to Chenonceau in late afternoon.
