- Day 1
Arriving in Rhodes
Book a morning flight to Rhodes' Diagoras Airport for a smoother start to your trip. The transfer to your hotel takes about 30 minutes. Summer afternoons can get busy with European charter flights, so plan extra time if you're departing then.
- Day 2
Rhodes Town UNESCO Sites
Start your Rhodes Town exploration at D'Amboise Gate before 9 AM to avoid cruise ship crowds. Visit the Street of Knights in the early morning for the best photos. The Palace of the Grand Masters is quieter after 2 PM when tour groups leave. Remember good walking shoes - those medieval cobblestones can be slippery.
- Day 3
Seven Springs and Lindos
Head to Seven Springs (Epta Piges) early. It's about an hour's drive south. You can walk through a 200m tunnel to reach the springs - it's cool but tight, so skip it if you're claustrophobic. Drive another 30 minutes to Lindos and climb the Acropolis. Bring lots of water and sun protection. If the climb looks too steep, local donkeys can take you up.

Free Day
Use Rhodes' reliable bus system to revisit Rhodes Town or explore nearby areas. Buses are clean but stop running around 9 PM. The coastal areas are fairly flat, making them perfect for bike rentals.
- Day 5
Orange Valley and Local Market
Visit Archangelos' weekly Thursday market. Take a morning walk through Orange Valley, where you'll find good shade. The trail gets slippery after rain, so hiking poles help. Pack food for a picnic in the citrus groves.
- Day 6
Independent Exploration
Check out some quieter beaches. The east coast is usually calmer than the windier west side. Tsambika Beach has some of the clearest water on Rhodes - get there before 11 AM to beat the crowds.
- Day 7
Mountain Villages
Visit Rhodes' highest point at Profitis Ilias. Begin at Salakos village and plan to reach the old Italian summer palace by mid-morning before it gets too hot. Skip the monastery path on windy days - some parts are quite exposed.
- Day 8
Departure
Most flights leave in the afternoon. If you have time, leave your bags at the hotel and spend the morning at Elli Beach. The airport is small but gets crowded - arrive 2 hours before international flights.
