- Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour
The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour was an experience of a lifetime. The helicopter ride offered stunning views of the mountains, and landing at Everest Base Camp was surreal. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for the trip. Seeing the beauty of the Himalayas up close was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure.
We had a wonderful tour with Luxury Holidays. Ram, our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and we always felt safe and in good hands. More than one of our party fell ill and had to be evacuated by helicopter. There was never any pressure on us to choose that route. It was entirely each of the affected person’s choice to return. One of the people wanted to hike back, thinking if he takes it easy and as he was going back down, he would be able to manage. Ram advised against this and this turned out to be the correct call as the person was more ill (he has a serious infection which led to an elevated heart rate) than originally realised. The management of Luxury Holidays arranged the helicopter evacuations and dealt with the insurance on our behalf from start to finish. All of it was a great experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend Luxury Holidays!

The accommodation was top-notch and exceeded my expectations for the Everest region. Combined with the brilliant mountain views, every day felt special. This trek offered the perfect balance of comfort, service, and unforgettable Himalayan scenery.
