Absolutely loved this guided tour, was worried it was going to feel like a school trip but honestly Chloe was more of a friend then a leader and she sorted everything out for us so we could chill which was so good. Gutted it had to end the way it did but honestly made the group stronger and made friends for life! Would highly recommend and would book another adventure with ultimate travel in the future :)

Chloe, our guide, was so helpful 24/7 and was always recommending the best places to go visit, explore and even eat at on our free days, when she wasn’t taking us herself. Cannot thank her enough, she really made the experience the best it could be right until the very end. Unfortunately I had to leave the trip early due to the corona outbreak but Chloe helped us all the way until we was basically at the airport. I will definitely recommend Chloe and Ultimate Travel to others and I really hope you’re all able to get back to normal once the pandemic is over. Thankyou for everything! X

The last 5 days or so of the trip were cancelled because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but Ultimate Travel put us up in accommodation until the ending tour date which was good of them.
Other than this, the tour was amazing. All the activities were incredible and the places we got taken to were as well.
Our tour guide Chloe was the absolute best we could have asked for. She’s Australian, so knew the place like no one else, knew all the tiny hidden places that no one else would, had fab recommendations for us no matter what we were after - everything from where to eat to a good place to watch the sunset. She was always upbeat and positive, even when things didn’t go quite to plan towards the end. Was one of the best things I’ve ever done, would highly recommend !

Had an awesome time with the ultimateOZ group, made some great friends and the tour guides were great aswell, although they were a bit hectic sometimes (but I can understand why with such a big group …Had an awesome time with the ultimateOZ group, made some great friends and the tour guides were great aswell, although they were a bit hectic sometimes (but I can understand why with such a big group of young people who just do what they want) all in all I would deffo recommend this tour.

It was such an amazing week. We did lots of stuff and had a lot of laughs togheter. We had a big group with about 15 people, wich i think is exactly the right amount of people to have a fun week with!…It was such an amazing week. Sandboarding was fun, even petted a kangaroo. I really recommend this tour. Also the tour leaders Chloe and Nikki where great, thanks for guiding our tour!

The tour was great, definitely worth it as well the accommodations especially the wake hostel which is in a ideal location with definitely a lot of things to do in the area.

The tour was excellently planned and I would recommend it to anyone who has always wanted to travel. I think our group was very fortunate to have Chloe as our Tour Guide. Her seemingly endless supply of energy kept everyone’s spirits up when the weather was not quite what we’d hoped and she was always available to answer any and all questions which the group inevitably bombarded her with. Ultimate has created an excellent East Coast tour and I would definitely travel with them again to the other destinations that they offer.

I did the 6 week east coast tour and we were lucky enough to experience base camp on our tour. This was nice as it broke the first week in Sydney up and helped us bond as a group.

My favourite hostels:
Byron bay wake up and noosa as they were open, clean and fresh.
Bunk in surfers and cairns Gilligan’s.
My least favourite hostel and destination were town of 1770, because I found it abit boring and mission beach jackaroo due to the cleanliness and quality of the beds.
My favourite activities were Nimbin, skydiving, Australia zoo, scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island and whitsundays.
I felt that not many meals were included on the tour and have spent a lot of money on food.
Our tour guide Chloe was experienced, approachable and always enjoyed getting involved with activities and social events. I feel the only thing that could be changed would be letting the group know in the chat details of what was happening for next day activities etc as everyone would constantly ask questions and feel they weren’t 100% on what was happening.
I have had the best 6weeks of my life and have experienced some amazing things for very good value for money that I wouldn’t of been able to afford if I hadn’t done a tour.

The whole trip has been so worth the money and there had been some great extra activities to book while here. My favourite moment has to be lake McKenzie most beautiful lake I have ever seen and clean fresh water to swim in!
