Really good value and well organised tour. I got to see so much in the 12 days, going to places & doing things I’d never have managed traveling on my own and with a nice group of people. Couldn’t fault Ollie as a tour leader, nice guy, knows his stuff, made sure we all knew what was going on and were having fun.

Some of the best days of my travels. Couldn’t have wished for any more and would never have done half of the experiences had I not been on the tour. Couldn’t recommend more. Ollie Jenks was our group leader and he knew a lot about Vietnam and travelling in general which was helpful. The standard of accommodation was excellent and the Halong Bay boat trip and Hoi An were the highlights for me. You also get help with onward travel. Lots of the meals were included and even the overnight train was good! The support before, during and after the tour was 10/10. I don't think I could have seen as much in Vietnam by myself without this tour. Would definitely recommend.
Well prepared trip where Ollie guided us through Vietnam. Good combination of activities and relaxing (and partying for the brave).

I would have liked to be given more info at the start on a very detailed itinerary as I wasn’t aware of the party boat or how freezing it would be in nimh …Ollie was a great guide, the trip was brill. I would have liked to be given more info at the start on a very detailed itinerary as I wasn’t aware of the party boat or how freezing it would be in nimh binh (48 hours outside in the cold). Also I felt that the meals we were taken to were less authentic, more expensive and more westernised than necessary. I would have preferred more authentic and cheaper as that’s what Vietnam is all about. All in all a great trip.

Accommodation on the whole was pretty spot on aside from the Ninh Binh homestay, the reason being it was freezing cold and the entire complex is outdoors. I actually became very ill there! Might I suggest an alternative option in the winter months... I can of course imagine it being lovely and refreshing during summer! Great idea to start in Hanoi which oozes culture... I thoroughly enjoyed the Ho Chi Minh activities and have a soft spot for Hoi An - would have loved an extra day there!

I did the 12 day Vietnam tour. It was amazing. The accomodation was much better than I expected. We got double beds and private rooms for most of the trip, staying on boats, trains, a private island, …I did the 12 day Vietnam tour. It was amazing. The accomodation was much better than I expected. We got double beds and private rooms for most of the trip, staying on boats, trains, a private island, in our own little bungalows next to a river and more. The activities were also fantastic. I had no expectations and they surprised and delighted me at every turn. Some highlights include crab fishing in bucket boats, a cooking class on the river and cat fishing with your bare hands. The tour guide knew his stuff and was always keen to answer questions and have a chat. The food provided on the trip was always amazing, although there were a couple of places we were taken to that were a bit pricey and I would have preferred to get street food due to my budget. If you’re going in December-February BRING WARM CLOTHES. There was one night where we were staying in bugalows that were beautiful but they were not completely sealed (the walls didn’t connect to the roof) and the shower was outside. Additionally all food, including the restaurant we went to after a river ride the next day, were all outside. So we were outside for 36 hours and it was FREEZING. That is the only complaint I have about this tour, that we weren’t properly warned about the weather and instructed to bring warm clothes. Apart from that, I cannot recommend Vietnam Intro enough.

Had the most amazing time doing Vietnamintro, the activites and accomodation were something special, definitely something i'll not forget! Intro travel were amazing as a company to travel with.

We saw a great amount of Vietnam in just 9 days, both touristy bits and parts we would have never found on our own. Our tour guide Ollie was responsible whilst still being fun, knew so much about the country and had great shirts. Our entire group was such a great group of people and have made friends for life.

Ollie, our guide, was wonderful. He related to everyone on the trip and made it a priority to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The trip was well structured, with enough time in each place. North Vietnam was freezing and tainted that part of the trip - unnecessary if properly specified prior to the trip. Will definitely travel with Intro again and recommend to friends.
The trip is beyond my expectation! My favorite is the riverboat tour in Ninh Binh and the cooking class in Hoi An. The transportation is very smooth as you hardly have to drag luggages around. Vietnam was a great experience. I was nervous about traveling solo in Vietnam, but the tour made it really easy and stress free. All of the activities and experiences were awesome, and they were things I never would have thought to do on my own. Bike riding through rice paddies, boating down a river, overnight cruise through Ha Long Bay, a private island stay...it was all amazing! Ollie did a great job of keeping it fun and running smoothly. And it added so much to the experience to be able to enjoy it all with such a fun and friendly group :)

All the activities were different, fun and interesting e.g. Mud cat fishing. Ollie was very helpful and mindful of the group. When we had problems with flooding in our next destination it was sorted with ease and although the plans changed they were still just as enjoyable. Honestly couldn't fault the tour except for the fact it wasn't longer! 10/10 would recommend!

The variety of places and activities was perfect and I feel like I got everything I was hoping for and more from visiting Vietnam. So glad I did this trip.

Could not reccomend doing a trip like this if travelling solo -there is no way I'd of been able to find half of the amazing activities we did, saw so much in 9 days. The transport was alway seemlessly timed and some of the accomadation was incredible (Nimh Binh and the 5* party boat in paticular!!!). From arrival I felt settled and enjoyed every second. I've been on similar trips before and never felt like I got my moneys worth but I 100% did with this. Honestly could not reccomend this trip enough!!! Can't wait to go back to Vietnam already.

The itinerary includes some amazing off-the-beaten-path locations and activities as well as covering Vietnam's must sees - highlights for me were Ninh Binh and Hoi An. I can't recommend VietnamIntro and particularly Ollie highly enough!
