Couldn't recommend Intro Travel any more! I first used them when I went solo travelling to Oz 2 and a half years ago, and picked the company by pure chance, but it turned out to be the best decision. …Couldn't recommend Intro Travel any more! I first used them when I went solo travelling to Oz 2 and a half years ago, and picked the company by pure chance, but it turned out to be the best decision. The daunting element of going away on your own was completely taken away the second we were picked up from the airport. They helped set us all up with absolutely everything we needed (visas, tax codes, bank accounts etc) and all the activities they had planned kept us super busy everyday. It was THE best way to see Sydney before moving onwards, which they also gave us loads of information and support on. I then used Intro Travel for my Bali trip as I loved it that much.
Our tour guides were Tom and Colin and they absolutely smashed it!! Thanks for being our parents for the week.

The tour itself takes you to all the biggest tourist spots in Sydney and Port Stephens. Highlight for me was jet boat.

Literally everything you need to get set up for a life here. Our intro leader was Tom and he is literally amazing at what he does. We were clueless about what to do after intro but he sits down with you and helps you get a plan together. Anytime you need intro for advice or help you literally just email or call them, or go to the office and you’re always greeted by a friendly face and WiFi! They collect your post for you too. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough to anyone wanting to come to Australia. Oz Intro gives you a sense of security and a ‘base’. You’ll also meet friends for life on the tour and new people to continue travelling with, which I found a massive benefit rather then travelling solo as a young woman. The trips on the tour are just unforgettable. Every single day is an adventure. Cannot recommend this enough! I’ve done Thai intro and aus adventure now and wouldn’t use another company! Shoutout to Tom for being the best tour leader and pal!!

An awesome week!!! So much to do it flew by. Port Stephens was an absolute bomb! Learning to surf was a massive laugh and so much fun. Great tour guide, great guy! I arrived in Australia to do my OzIntro tour in January 2019. It was an experience I will never forget. Not only did I get to see the sights of Sydney, the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Bondi Beach to name a few, I got to meet some of the most amazing people I have ever met and made friends for life, like my Australia family. There was such a diverse group of people, solo travellers like myself, people travelling together and couples, it gave me the confidence in myself to meet new people and travel by myself. Something I worried about as I was older than the average gap year traveller.
This was the first travel experience I have done solo, and I can't thank the staff Tom Dewsnap and Jack Evans enough for helping me so much with everything. From organising bank accounts, Medicare and other important details, to advice on travelling, hostels, activities and places to eat and drink, the were extremely helpful with everything. They managed to keep us organised with everything, whilst also making our experience fun and interesting.
OzIntro helped me organise my tour of the east coast, which I am sadly now coming to the end of. It has been one of the best things I have ever done. From my arrival in Sydney to the current moment (and I'm assured until the end of my time in Australia), they have made my Australia experience stress and worry free, meaning I could thoroughly enjoy every part of my tour. I wouldn't have had any idea where to start or experienced half of the things I have done if it wasn't for them. If I had any issues or questions along the way they were a simple phone call or message away, which was very helpful, something many other people I have met travelling didn't have as they had arranged everything themselves. It was like having a safety net to fall back on, comforting to know they were there in times of need.
Travelling with OzIntro has been by far the best decision I have made, and can't speak more highly of them, I would recommend them to anyone and would advise anyone thinking of travelling to Australia to do it.

From the first day I felt very safe and happy with the people I was staying in. Unfortunately I suffered from very bad jet lag but Tom and Phoebe were fantastic in supporting me in any way I needed. This tour was honestly soooooo amazing! There were so many activities that I wouldn’t have necessarily booked/or found if I had just flown to Aus alone without a guided tour/group. For example the Port Stephens trip was such a different and authentic experience, with so many fun activities included in the two days spent there - the sand boarding was sick and the opportunity to experience staying in the bush bungalow was also amazing. This tour is an amazing opportunity to meet new people and make friends for life, whether that be to travel with or reunite along the way. Our tour leaders Tom and Jack were just the absolute best! Always so happy and positive and really showing everyone that you can live your best life in Aus. It was also really nice that they not only became such good friends with everyone, but were super helpful with all things travel/work/general life related. You’d never feel on your own after booking Ozintro as they’re literally always there and happy to help at any time at all, you’ll never find a friendlier bunch. There aren’t enough good words to describe how fab this trip or the people have been! Intro tours are the BEST xxxx

One word, amazing. I have made unforgettable experiences on this tour and I would 100% do an introtravel tour again.

The people I was grouped with were for the most part nice and friendly.
Main downsides were:
- most of the group partied too much during the entirety of the trip during the nights. I was sleep deprived during the days when we had to get up early in the morning
- the hostel was average and fees to do the washing and the wifi were unexpectedly expensive

For the money you pay the experiences and activities you do are stupidly valuable for the price. Not only that but the group of like minded people you share them with and potentially your future travelling is invaluable.
The itinerary and outings had some unforgettable moments, views and experiences. The hostel is clean and everyone is friendly and helpfull. The food provided on the trips was also great.
The leaders Tom and Greg were awesome too and helped with anything they could and will answer all your questions even if they have to go and research to give you an answer, basically the effort they put in was 5 star.
Over all I think this was an absolutely fantastic experience and the best possible way to get introduced to Australia for your future travels.

Tom is an amazing tour leader and really takes the time to answer your questions and explain things to make sure you feel happy and comfortable, even if he's said the same thing 20 times already that days, he's really patient and does really well to get on with everybody.

Good value for money with the amount of activities we got to do and a few meals included that were really good too. The surf instructors were really fun and energetic and a great help. And the team leader where really good, Tom was amazing and really took the time to answer any questions you had (even if it was the 20th time he'd been asked) and made sure you felt happy and comfortable and knew what was going on. Greg was really good fun and they made a good team. Overall had a fantastic experience, especially with all the extra help at the end with travelling on and jobs etc. Really felt well looked after and like you can go back and ask for help at any time, really approachable.

When I arrived in Australia I was met at the airport and made to feel welcome before being taken to the hostel. The accommodation was nice with everything you needed and everybody in the hostel was friendly and chatty! Throughout the week we were taken to different spots around sydney and also on a trip to port stephens which was amazing! My tour guids, Jake and Tom were great and gave me the best possible experience here as well as being really friendly and helping me feel at ease with everything! I would recommend Ozintro to anyone thinking of traveling!!

From the start, the Oz Intro team makes you feel welcome in Australia by picking you up at the airport. When they got me, they even picked up a girl from a different company because her tour guide had left her hanging for over an hour. When my tour started, I instantly new that it was going to be a good time as our guide Tom (one of the nicest humans alive) got everyone in our group chatting and prepped to be a lil' famjam for the week. Even when we were freezing our asses off at the zoo and and the Blue Mountains (Sydney in August = not *always* the warmest) it was a lot of fun because we had such a great group dynamic which definitely wouldn't have been the same without Tom. I can't think think of a time on this tour that I wasn't enjoying myself (although starting off the week jet boating around the Sydney Harbour was probably my favourite). Even now as I am travelling through Oz on my own with a working holiday visa, it is so comforting to know that I have a home base and people willing to lend me a hand back in Sydney. I 100% recommend this trip!

Just a few of the many highlights of the week have been when we whent jet boating and got absolutely drenched, another highlight of the week which has been my favourite part was when we went to bondi beach and on the beautiful costal walk and had the best BBQ and played some rounders and volleyball on the beach. Another amazing highlight was when we went to port Stephens and learned how to surf, went to see the kangaroos, went wine and beer tasting watched the sunset on Stockton sand dunes and ended the night with a campfire on the beach. This week has been absolutely incredible and wouldn't have been possible of nowhere near as good without our amazing tour leaders tom and shaun you are the best and funniest people I've ever met and just want to say a huge thankyou for making this the best experience of my life. #cheeseuschrist #naughtygeezer #youcantdance

I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was! from the moment I met Tom he was an absolute legend made me feel so relaxed and welcome and I knew instantly it was the best decision to sign up to Oz Intro! We got lucky and were the guinnie pigs for a new tour which involved a trip up to Port Stephens which included an overnight stay, Surfing on a secluded beach, Sandboarding and a hike up to an amazing viewpoint. Honestly Sandboarding would have to be the highlight of the trip but I also loved the Darling Harbour Day Drinking cruise. Jumping in the harbour and having a laugh with everyone was so fun. Genuinely couldnt have asked for a better tour guide. Huge thanks to Shaun too who came along and ran the week with us. Such a good vibe, great group and even better leaders. Thank you OzIntro team. I love you!!!

This past week with Ozintro has been fantastic!!! I thoroughly enjoyed every single activity, especially the surfing and the day in the blue mountains. There was lots going on in the evenings too, so …This past week with Ozintro has been fantastic!!! I thoroughly enjoyed every single activity, especially the surfing and the day in the blue mountains. There was lots going on in the evenings too, so there was never a boring moment. Everyone in our group got along really well. Our group leader Tom was a top bloke. He coped well with an all girl group of 14 (massive respect for the chest waxing session!) and was always up for a laugh. He made sure everyone was getting involved and having a good time, and helped sort any problems or questions we had. Staying at base was really handy. It was close to the office and supermarkets, and the rooms and facilities were pretty good. The help getting set up with Aussie bank accounts, SIM cards and healthcare was great and made the process completely stress free (I was pretty sure it was going to be a hassle). We were given a lot of info and advice about CVs and finding a job over here too, which was really useful- I am definitely going to be making use of the OzJobs app. All in all, a great first week in oz and I'm really looking forward to spending the next year over here :D

The week is such great value for money. The trips every day were amazing. The bondi to coogee walk with the beach bbq and volleyball was a personal favourite of mine! Also the surfing lesson was incredible...so good in fact it inspired me to book a surf camp. Can't reccommend this enough. If I go travelling again in the future I would definitely book with intro travel again at one of their other destinations!

Deciding to do OzIntro is one of the best decisions I've ever made! The week was amazing, and I absolutely loved the whole week. The week was amazing, and I absolutely loved the whole week. Tom our awesome leader showed us around the City on day 1, followed by Jet Boating in Sydney Harbour which was so much fun. Surfing at Umina beach was probably my favourite day, but that's hard to say for sure as every activity was great. We enjoyed a private boat party around the harbour, a trip to the Blue Mountains, a coastal walk followed by a BBQ and volleyball on the beach. I had so much fun on the nights out, pub quiz, fancy dress bar crawl to name a few.
It's a fantastic way to meet people, especially if you're a solo traveller.
The help we were given from Tom with our onward travel has been invaluable and the knowledge from all of the staff at Oz Intro has been so helpful. I can't rate this trip highly enough!

And Tom, our group leader was amazing, he is deffo a keeper!

Most amazing week, the best value for money and I've never drank so much goon in my life. Tommo was an amazing rep, we were always updated on where we had to be everything ran very smoothly. Best dance moves I've ever seen as well;) On a more personal note, couldn't have asked for someone better when I arrived at the airport when my backpack had been lost at Dubai. Tom made it seem like a minor problem that could be sorted easily, and I would have stressed so much otherwise. Even leant me a towel for the week! Best experience was probably the bar crawl and karaoke or the boat trip around the harbour. By far one of the best experiences I've ever had, and I'd reccomend to absolutely anyone and if they have tom as a rep they'll be in for a sick week.

My leader (Tom) was absolutely legend. He was full of knowledge and he knew everything we needed to know to travel the Golden Coast. He had a awesome personality and had such a positive outlook on everything. The best part of week was the boat cruise around the harbour. It was so surreal and captured so many pictures that will be my memories for ever! The food provided was also so yummy! The nights out with the group and Tom was soooo much fun and I danced the night away. I HAD THE BEST TIME EVER! THANK YOU ☺️

A perfect start to our Australian adventure with exciting activities and excellent staff. We had so much fun with Tom our Group Leader, he was so supportive and helpful with guiding us and offering advice to us for our further travels. Our nights out were hilarious, Tom showed us local places that we could go to for food and drink and places to shop. Anytime we had a question he was there for us to answer. My favourite night out was our bar crawl that included fancy dress and karaoke! And my favourite day activity was the jet boating under Sydney harbour bridge! Thank you so much to Tom and the Oz intro team for making it such a memorable week that I'll never forget! X

My group leader was Tom and he really made us feel excited to be in Australia, he got the group to really get to know eachother which made the trip a whole lot easier, everyday Tom made sure we all knew what we were doing and what we needed to bring, he was such a great group leader and showed that he knew what was planned!

My favourite part of the week was the Blue Mountains hike, as the views were gorgeous; our coastal walk from Bondi Beach was also good fun. Tom was a great leader, and very informative as well.
