This said Vic has been my favorite tour leader ever, getting involeved with everything and being so hilarious! I adore how caring she is, entertaining, approachable and how safe she makes me feel in Bali. Overall it's been crackin'

I had originally planned to travel around Bali with friends not on an organised tour but I am so so glad that I decided to do it, I would never have seen, don…I had the best time on the balintro tour! I had originally planned to travel around Bali with friends not on an organised tour but I am so so glad that I decided to do it, I would never have seen, done and experienced all the things that I have if I hadn't booked this tour. The accommodation is perfect and so much better than staying in hostels, every place has air con and a pool which is great. All of the activities have been awesome and super fun! There's a perfect balance between free time and activities. Alicia was an amazing tour leader from the minute I met her, friendly, approachable, on the ball and full of energy.

Alicia and Grant were our group leaders for the duration and the chemistry between the two of them radiated throughout the group as they didn’t shy at getting involved with the group and the activities.
Both were approachable and although they bounced off of each other each one had their own personal recommendations to food and things to do in our spare time.
I’m now looking at booking the Vietnam tour with the company in 2018.

I had the most incredible time in Bali with Bali Intro. We saw and did some amazing things - my favourites were staying at the Bali Intro villa and visiting Gili T. Every day we did something new and it was so well set up that we didn't have to worry about a single thing!
Alicia, our tour guide, was the best! She was so much fun and so approachable. She knew so much about the country which made me feel comfortable and I learnt so much from her! She always made sure everyone was included and constantly kept us entertained, from riddles and DJing in the buses to playing charades waiting for ferries. She also made sure we knew where and how we were moving on from the trip which gave us all peace of mind for getting home or going to the next place.
I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Bali and if you can get Alicia as your guide, it will be an amazing trip!

Alicia was there from the moment I stepped off the plane and has been the most inspiring and helpful person through the trip. I was apprehensive before doing the trip but straight away I felt comfortable and both leaders made sure everyone was happy and involved the whole time. They have certainly made this one experience I will never forget and I will definitely be booking another tour. I couldn’t have asked for better leaders or to meet a better bunch of people!

I would also like to add that our tour guide Alicia has been amazing...
She has been really easy to talk to if there was any problems, she has made this trip super fun.. even when waiting for ferrys she would start playing games with us to keep us entertained.
She is filled with a lot of knowledge on Bali and was always giving us "fun filled facts" on a daily basis. It was really helpful knowing that she spoke Balinese so if I needed help she could assist me...
This trip has been so memorable that I wish to book with Intro travel in the near future!
Thanks to Intro travel & Alicia for making my last 2 weeks of travelling before going back to England an absolute blast and a trip I'll never forget!!

I had an awesome time in Bali and Gili T with Alicia and Grant as our tour guides. It was a really cool way to experience Bali, very chill but still we saw a bunch of stuff in a short amount of time.

Most hotels are verrry nice and of course the private villa is beautiful. I only spent about £250 the entire trip on everythig from meals to lots of acohol and clothing/souvenirs. The restraunts are very cheap and food is gorgeous. Very thankful to our guide Alicia for making it such an amazing experience- shes fun, kind and patient with a real passion for Bali.

facilitated impressed me. On arrival I was greeted by an enthusiastic guide
who stayed with us for the first two days of the tour Grant. The guide who
completed the rest of the 10 days with us was Alicia. The tour itself has
the right amount of balance between culture, partying and land and sea
activities which for me was the best part of the tour I got to see and do
so much of what Bali has to offer in a short space of time. The entire tour
ran smoothly. Accommodation was always different and comfortable. The Villa
in Lovina was my favorite place though. The restaurant are all well
selected with a variety of cuisine, deco and vibes. I especially enjoyed
the menu recommendations shared with us by our guide Alicia... Everything
she recommended was always yummilicious. Now I have to highlight my guide
Alicia, as she is an extremely dynamic, extraordinary woman. She was
extremely friendly and gave the group well over 100% daily. For me
personally Alicia made my trip... I cannot swim or cycle... On our first
night in Lovina she got me into the pool and offered to teach me how to
swim, which was a good first lesson, on our second day she encouraged me
during snorkeling in Lovina and I was scared. In Gili T she tandem road a
bicycle with me so that I would not lose out on the experience. And then
the highlight of my trip snorkeling in Gili T to watch turtles... Alicia
encouraged me and motivated me to get into the ocean, she never let go of
my hand the whole time... This was the best experience of my life and it
was made possible by Alicia. My bank cards were also stolen during the trip
and Alicia helped me to transfer money to her account so that I could get
cash. Alicia is extremely passionate about Bali and this rubbed up off on
me. I also commend and appreciate the effort she makes to communicate in
Balinese and the manner in which she interacted with all our drivers,
restaurant staff and the family and children during our family visit.
During our tour Mt Agung was emitting ash, our guide was proactive in
getting us masks just in case we may need them. She also gave us daily
updates and continued in a calm nature which helped our tour group stay
calm during this time as well. Sincere thank yous to Balintro and Alicia
for a phenomenal holiday experience. Keep up the passion and great work

I spent a great 12 days in Bali! I broke my arm one week before the trip and was unsure if I should come or not, but everyone was super nice and helpful. I had heard mixed reviews about Bali but I felt so comfortable in Bali and my tour leader Alicia made me feel so welcome and instantly made me feel at ease. I feel like I have experienced all Bali has to offer with Alicia as our leader. She was awesome and definitely made this trip for me. It was amazing & all the food was delicious thanks to Alicia's recommendations. I have no complaints and would recommend this tour to everyone.

Everything from the bus trips to the local homestay was such a fun experience and something I will never forge. The villa we stayed in in Lovina was absolutely insane and definitely my favourite accommodation. Alicia wa amazing as she had so much knowledge and information about Bali which just made the trip even better, Alicia was more like another friend than a tour guide! All round SICK trip

Bali and the gilli islands have just been a few places in travelled but my first time with intro and I'd recommend it to anyone of use!!

Alicia also gives suggestions to try out recommendations for foods and drinks which is worth a try. Good weather is a bonus too!

Also in the end i regret i didn't see sunrise on the volcano because it was the trek was on a fixed day with bad weather. Finally, the boys-girls ratio could be better to. But above all, i want to thank Alicia! She is the amazing tour leader, she's very supportive, patient, informative and fun! We had the time of our life, thanks to her.

I felt immediately at home when I arrived, it must of been in the air all those positive vibes and peacefulness because I never wanted to leave and having Alicia and everyone else there, it was just everything and more I could of ever wished for. The itinerary itself just flowed perfectly, everything fitted in so well. I can't even express the things I've seen and experienced, you won't understand unless you do this tour and I recommend it to everyone. And if you didn't get goosebumps every single day by being in Bali then you were doing it wrong because I did. If you are considering it.. please go. I met the most wonderful group of people, who I can honestly say will be my friends for life, the tour leader included, Alicia. Who is just WONDERFUL at her job. Not only did she do an epic job of showing us the Balinese culture, but her as a person left me nothing but inspired & is a credit to the company. The way the itinery is planned works out to be a perfect way to explore Bali in my opinion & you get the right balance of alone time and group time. The island is full of magic and wonder & will leave you feeling completely opened up spiritually, I felt zen & calm & that was all down the people of Bali- I have never expericed such kind hearted people in all my life. Riding out in boats to go see wild dolphins swim & dance & visiting the island of Gili T are highlights for me. Not only this but the homestay up in he mountains touched me in ways I could never imagine. Travelling back from Gili was longer than expected, taking 16 hours, but this was due to the weather. Alicia managed to keep everyone positive and we ended up having a great time on a 6 hour ferry. Bali is incredible and I would never have packed so many amazing experiences into 12 days travelling on my own. I would reccomend Bali Intro to anyone and if you end up with Alicia you should be super excited.

I have encountered people from all walks of life and I have made some friends for life, some of which I will be travelling with to Vietnam next year. A personal highlight for me was the local family visit which was a humbling and enlightening experience and a must do activity! As for Alicia (our tour guide) where do I began, I haven't met a more positive person in my life. No matter what task is set for her she thrives (for example our 16 hour journey to travel around 20 miles) keeping everyone positive and laughing. Overall, this trip has been a wonderful experience and I will be sad to leave! This isn't goodbye Bali, but see you soon.

We also received a welcome email from our group leader giving us all her details and what to expect on arrival, putting my mind at ease! On meeting Alicia (our tour leader) at the airport she made me feel welcomed and explained a bit about the trip and other need to know details. The whole trip was fantastic from swimming with turtles, trying surfing (which I never thought I would actually do!!), partying in Kuta, visiting and learning about temples and dolphin spotting. The itinerary was fantastic, so much to do and see with a great amount of free time in between. The Gili Islands were fantastic, and we all got that swing pic! I honestly think the trip was made even better by our group leader Alicia! She gaves us all the information we needed each day, she was there whenever we needed her and with her constant encouragement I have done so many things I never thought I would. I started this trip scared of the ocean and now I love it! Even after the trip she helped us organise things we wanted to do. This trip is perfect for first time travel or as an end to months of travelling. I feel I have seen everything I wanted in Bali and made some friends for life! I did the 12 day Balintro travel February 4th -15th. It was the most incredible time of my life. It was the most incredible time of my life. Typically the groups are 20 people, but mine was only 10 which allowed for a more intimate and close knit group. I was 19 and the youngest, but all the other people ranged from 20-32. Nevertheless, we all got along super well and I have now made lifelong friends. The intinarary is the best you could ever get. It is also super easy traveling with a group since it relives you of the hassle of figuring out transportation and such in a country that speaks a different language. All the places you go at night are authentic local spots, and there is also a homestay in the trip to really integrate you into the culture. There is not one thing that we did that I wouldn't recommend. Balintro is so amazing and I would recommend it to everyone and anyone. All of the group leaders are also awesome, fun loving, and responsible. I had Alicia McSweeney and she did an amazing job! A+ to everything.
**Also, February is in Bali's "rainy season" but the weather was still great! Only rained for an hour if that here and there. No plans got canceled.

I hostenly thought this trip wasnt my own, we had to stick to the itinerary or else nothing, while the guide would change things on a whim and ignore our requests almost entirely. Restaruants for dinner were boringly samey and 8pm every night a poor time to start having fokd for a large group. I was quite disappointed in Bali and if it weren't for the amazing group I had I most likely would have left this tour early. The beaches are horrible and filled with trash and sadly some of the locals are a bit full on. You do of course see some amazing sights, Dolophins while hanging of the side of a boat, the lovely home stay, the strongest waterfall I have ever experienced, and a walk up a volcano I will never forget. But i honestly don't see where my money went. The guide we had needs to work on her interactions with people, fobbing off questions, treating people like children (I know when I need the toilet and will go when i need too, not to suit the timetable), lied frequently about meeting times or just changed them without telling folk, refusing to give out WiFi passwords as they are "distracting"(again we are adult and the group was pretty close, people like some time alone) She was a nice girl to have on the group but as a tour leader she was not great,
Gilli T is honestly a shithole, the poor weather did not help the situation but even if i was the best weather in history it still be a dive, fuelled by drugs and a quick buck, a crap hostel that due to its design is a small damp cell. The snorkelling was nice enough and a small lunch on Gilli A was a cool place but this place is nowhere near the paradise its repeatedly claimed to be and almost made me quit the last few days of the tour.

I did the 9 days and overall enjoyed it but was slightly dampened by the weather - heavy rainfall. Also I am leaving slightly underwhelmed as my online research dipicted Bali to be an idyllic, beach, picturesque destination which I definitely did not experience whilst on my trip.

I opted to book this tour rather than traveling alone and having to plan all of my own activities/ accommodations/ transportation. Instead, everything was pre-arranged and I loved sharing the whole experience with a wonderful group of people from around the world, and a group leader who knew her way around Bali and made every experience more fun and exciting than it possibly could have been on my own! The only downside to my trip was that I was not met at the airport on arrival and my transportation back to the airport fell through as well.

My initial fears of an unfamiliar strange land were squashed after approx seven seconds in the country as our lovely tour guide introduced herself and put my mind at ease. Where as some leaders like to do just that with an unwanted sense of authority, she was more just one of the gang having as much fun as us while remaining knowledgable, professional and well fun at all times. The places we stopped at were stunning, the group was great and good times were certainly had. I'd recommend for anyone looking to relax a little while traveling without the worry of navigating yourself from place to place. Sit back, enjoy and make some memories. Bring some bug spray too. Ugh.

Our guide Alicia was a hip Aussie Chick who quickly became our/my close friend she made everything fun, even waiting for transport and long car journeys became something we all looked forward too! We all made such great friends despite being so varied in age and nationalitys, and well all felt like movie start! The phrase "#richkidsofinstagram" was used everywhere! I felt safe knowing that if any thing off plan was to happen, (as it dose, when out on the road) our guide and the head office had us sorted!!
This is not a holiday it's an adventure

The only real thing I'd like to see changed and it isn't a negative about the the tour is that another night at the villa would be amazing, it was the time when you really connected with you guys you're with. I also personally think that Gili T should be the add on not Ubud because it's not technically Bali but either which way I had the best 12 days, met the best people and saw the most amazing things.. I would 100% recommend to anyone!!
