I was on a tour with Nihar Vasa. The tour was of the country of Poland. Nihar was very attentive to our group of 47. He provided some valuable information, some jokes (he needs to work on those) :-…I was on a tour with Nihar Vasa. The tour was of the country of Poland. Nihar was very attentive to our group of 47. He provided some valuable information, some jokes (he needs to work on those) :-) and suggestions on what we will see and where to go for lunch or dinner. He was very approachable and very helpful to some of the people on the trip who needed some additional attention or assistance (dental work, hearing aid function). The weather didn't cooperate, but everyone seemed to make the best of it. I would recommend Nihar as a tour guide for future tours.

I missed the group from day 1 so he arranged for a private vehicle to take me to fes and join them. His wonderful, caring ways helped me get through the fiasco and relieve me of indescribable stress. That was priceless. He is an invaluable asset to your company and deserves to be recognized and appreciated. I do.

Each location was ready for the group once we arrived, so there was no waiting around or wandering around aimlessly. There is nothing I would change, and I cannot express how much having Nihar as a tour manager made the trip.

I have to admit that Nihar has good positive, understanding and sincere attitude at all times. You can't go wrong with Nihar because he pretty much will help share knowledge about the locations you visit. He also commits himself on being always on-time. He is very selfless in the sense that he will help you with any problem you might come about on your tour (within reason of course).

He also embedded a lot of humor within his dialogue which made for a delightful trip with lots of laughter!
Our transportation, majority of the time besides a flight to Ibiza, was a Mercedes coach bus... It was the nicest coach I've traveled on with the most comfortable accommodations I've experienced including adjustable foot rests and seats, seat back tables, charging stations, and even reliable wifi!
Spain was a wonderful country to visit with many diverse regions along with a rich history that impacts (impacted) most of the world.

Contiki was a random decision but also one of my best decision's. When it all started, I was slightly awkward around 53 stranger's but my trip manager Nihar Vasa came to the rescue. He helped me settle in on the first day and since then it has been a crazy ride. I have seen a lot of trip managers guiding you to places for their own commisions but it wasn't like that with Contiki and Nihar. We were always guiding for the right things and also the best ones. In a completely unknown city if someone guides you the right places, you get this feeling of accomplishment. In short Nihar was a great trip manager and I can take another Contiki just because of Nihar and the amazing ride.

Everything was done on time every-time. The timing was also perfect in a sense that you would feel you had enough time to see and experience everything you set out to do. If anyone had any problem or concerns Nihar took it upon himself to quickly resolve problems or answer questions not just about the places where we stay but even crazy history questions. If Nihar did not know he would most definitely find an answer even if it is not a serious question he would make it is his first priority. Nihar made it fun!! Listen to keep 53 people busy and entertained for a 9 hour drive can not be easy but he made it seem so simple and easy and lots of fun. I would take a tour weather it is a Contiki or any other tour with Nihar Vasa anytime.

From accents to games to sing along most bus rides he always knew how to make as all feel include and like a family and I'll forever be thankful having him as my guide. He exceed my expectations and had knowledge on sights, food and clubs as if he was a local. I think he deserve your guide of the year as he always went above and beyond to check in with us to make sure our trip was perfect, and any bumps along the way he dealt with in a timely fashion with minimal distribution to the group.

One of the leading factors in this was our amazing tour guide Nihar Vasa, he started us out with a few introductory games and could always be counted on to bring out a horrible dad joke or two. His knowledge of the local regions was surprising, from the history down to the funny and sometimes weird local folklore, he was always happy to share these stories with us. In addition we would quite often hear his recommendations of local cuisine and restaurants to visit all which were beyond expectations, on a more personal experience when I was injured while intoxicated he quickly made it his priority to get me to the hospital for which I am always grateful.
In conclusion I would only hope the next contiki I do I am lucky enough to get Nihar as my guide again.

Nihar ensured our trip was as smooth as possible and ran without error. It was supposed to rain our whole trip, magically he held off the rain too. If that's not impressive, nothing is! I am so greatful to have gone on tour with Nihar as my manager, he is so understanding and went out of his way to organise whatever we needed. If there was something we needed, or wanted, Nihar organised it straight away. We got to do so much extra activities all thanks to his organisation skills. Nihar deserves the uttermost recognition for his endless hard work and dedication to his job!

The accomodation was great, always a little bit out of the city center which was never a problem as it was an easy bus ride in. Our group was awesome and we all got along so well. Our bus driver Johnnie could drive with skills like no other, we honestly don't know how he did it but we made it through so many different countries with crazy roads and not a single scratch. Nihar was our tour guide and I still wonder where he keeps all the information while still having room for some terrible puns. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible time, was super supportive when people were sick or lost along the way, and most of all was a friend to everyone on board. We learnt so much from him and the trip would not have been the same without.

This is a whirlwind trip of Europe (which you know when you sign up to it) and I feel completely confident that I couldn't have possibly seen or done one more thing with my time as Nihar's planning, organisation, timing and itineraries were completely jam packed whilst ensuring we were seeing and doing all the best bits of Europe, there's not one thing left on my bucket list from this trip!
Nihar's knowledge is astounding, he is very approachable and most importantly you feel comfortable and carefree with Nihar in charge.
I am leaving Europe with tired feet, a depleted bank account and expanded waistline so job well done Nihar!
You are fantastic at what you do and thank you for allowing me to make magic memories with my friend whilst exploring the weird and wonderful Europe!

She loaded the bus with our luggage every day and kept the bus very clean throughout the whole trip. Nihar was a fantastic tour manager. He was very organized and made sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our experience. He was very knowledgeable on all of the cities we visited and gave us a lot of great background history and advice on each place before we got there. I was part of the European encounter 16 day contiki trip and we saw so much of every place we went to. Choosing to do it through contiki was a fantastic decision, everything ran smoothly the whole time. Our tour manager Nihar worked much harder than we realised because everything ran so smoothly. After doing some travelling after the trip without him we realised how much work goes into organising tours and getting from a to b on time, let alone for a group of over 30 people. Every place we went he taught us about the history and cool facts, gave us advice on quirky places we should check out if we get time, was always knowledgable with everything. Wether we needed a doctors or a pub he had the answer everytime and literally worked every minute of the trip. The trip wouldn't have been the same without him and our driver Johnny, they put in so much and I can't thank them enough! If anyone gets Nihar as their tour manager they are guaranteed the best time of their lives.

Our Trip Manager was Nihar Vasa and I know I am speaking on behalf of everyone I traveled with when I say that he was an incredible person/manager/guide/friend. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the cities we visited and made sure we had the proper orientation for each city by acquainting us with the necessary information on the coach and incorporating technology into these orientations. That made getting to know the maps and the cities that much easier.
One of Nihar's strengths was that he always wanted to make sure that everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Contiki has a semi-reputation for being a party trip and he definitely ensured that those that wanted to drink and have a good time, had their fun. He knew where to suggest to go and had the hookup in more than a few cities for discounts on drinks and bar/club entrance fees. But beyond that, he was always soliciting feedback and making sure we were having a good time during the planned and optional events. He was very sensitive to those of us with allergies and always ensured that restaurants would cater to our needs (they were more than a few of us with allergies, gluten-intolerance, and other special dietary restrictions). Further, when he walked up and down the coach to see how we were doing and what can be improved, you could tell he was genuinely interested in bettering our experiences and not just doing that "because he had to" or for some formality.
Furthermore, Nihar is extremely fun and personable. He created great coach games that incorporated pop culture so that all could enjoy. He's really funny, can do great accents, and knows how to poke fun at people in the exact right way. All of that helped round out my experience in the most perfect way, as I didn't necessarily just want an informed tour guide but also wanted to gain a friend in the process - he definitely did all of that and more!

I did an 18 day European Whirl tour with Nihar as the tour manager and Christian as the driver. Both did an exceptionally terrific job and I rate them both very highly. Nihar has great knowledge of each destination we visited and always had suggestions on where to go for good food etc.
Cristian's driving skills ensured the ride was very smooth with early braking to stop any jerking movements making it easy to catch a few hours sleep between destinations.
overall the accommodation was good however I'd recommend bringing a power board as some accommodation locations either don't have enough points for the number of occupants or there are enough but in inconvenient locations (e.g. 1 on bedroom of two people and another in the bathroom). Overall I'm very happy I chose contiki as my first choice to see the world and I met and made some great friends along the way.

Honestly couldn't have asked for better guys to share my experience with. Nihar is very knowledgeable about the locations and the local cultures, always giving us little tips and tricks to help us better to congeal with the locals. While he is our tour manager, once all the work is done and everything's sorted, he knows how to have a good time. More often than not, coming out and enjoying the experience with us

Nihar and Cristian and the rest of the Contiki family were so welcoming and I couldn't fault them one bit. All I can say is that they were the best!
On this trip I met some amazing people and life long friends even if they do live on the other side of the world.
I had the best time of my life, I loved it!

Nihar was awesome. He seems a bit quiet at first, but it's a competent quiet! He definitely knows what he's doing and he's funny and very compassionate as well. Whilst on our tour he was able to educate us so much on the places we went to which I found very interesting and I was amazed at how he remembered everything. He was an awesome tour guide, and highly recommend him!!!!

Was funny in general. Another stand out moment was when he convinced us some rocks near the French ferry port was painted white and asked us what type of white it was. After many guesses he revealed it was gullible white. Got us pretty good.

I can say nothing but positive things about Nihar and how he runs his trips. If I could I would request him as my TM for my next trip.

He knows what he is doing, and all the information you need for wherever you might be. I learned so much from him, while having the time of my life. If I ever did another tour, I would for sure only do it with Nihar. Like I said, I truly feel I gained a friend in him, and I know I'm not the only one who felt that way. Great guy!

I absolutely loved my contiki! Exploring Europe in the Winter was incredible! Nihar was a very fun, knowledgable guide and dealt with every hiccup in a professional manner! Would definable recommend!
