This tour has so much diversity in activities from exploring Mayan ruins to walking around colourful towns, snorkelling with sharks and manatees, hiking a volcano.
For the first part of the tour we were combined with the Viva Mexico group and were lucky to have Osmar as our amazing group leader to show us around his country. He had so much passion and made everyday together so much fun, my highlights were exploring Oaxaca and Isla Holbox with our group. Even if sometimes the weather wasn’t on our side Osmar always was, he would always make sure we had the best possible experience and was an incredible problem solver.
For the second part of the tour our group leader Andrea was incredible throughout the and I am so grateful to her. Everyday felt so smooth and seamless thanks to her amazing organisation, she even made the long drives through Guatamala entertaining. I was sick on the trip and Andrea went to the pharmacy for me and helped me get medicines, and consistently checked up on me. She has so much passion for Mexico and Central America and bringing people together! My highlight of the second half of the trip was definitely Acatenango and watching Fuego erupt with my friends.

The cenotes were breathtaking, the temples and ruins transported me back in time, and the hikes gave us unforgettable views and moments of wild beauty. I loved meeting local people, learning about the culture, and exploring with knowledgeable local guides who brought each place to life. Our tour leader- Andrea was the absolute heart of this trip! Her vibrant, full-of-life energy was completely infectious, and she kept us laughing every single day with her funny jokes. Beyond being incredibly fun, she was remarkably accommodating and seamless in her execution. Even when unexpected changes forced her to adjust plans on the fly, she handled everything flawlessly without ever missing a beat. Andrea went above and beyond to make our grueling hike days feel easier and more manageable, ensuring everyone felt supported and cared for. She is truly an all-around amazing human being who turned a great tour into an unforgettable, deeply wholesome experience. I wish her all the best on her future endeavours 🫶🏾✨
