He's always in a positive upbeat mood which makes the trip even more fun. If you do this trip with Az just know not only will you have #noregrets but you'll also have #noworries.
I completed the Thai hopper west, our trip manger was Az and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and well organised. Best tour yet.

He is genuinely a great man, but also has such a passion and knowledge for Asia that is very contagious. Even when Az became unwell and had to stop touring, he made sure our plans were set and the tour guide he was training had all the tools needed. He kept in contact the whole time he was ill and flying home. Pretty much a tour legend really.

Az was a fantastic guide and so helpful especially when I lost my passport allowing me to rejoin the group in ample time. He made everyone in the group feel valued and all transport and me time activities were organised with his help. Contiki is a great way to meet people and travel with ease definitely worth booking a trip especially if the guides are all as great as Az!

I travelled with Az earlier this year in June to Bali. What can I say about this legend?? He was organised but relaxed and easy going so we never felt like we were on a schedule. Friendly and PATIENT when it was definitely needed (dealing with us drunken Aussies) Always positive, and no problem was too big to overcome (when my friend dislocated her knee dancing, he helped her on and off boas and buses and even organised a crutch for her to take home to Australia)
I couldn't recommend him enough, if you're lucky enough to get him as your team leader then your guaranteed an amazing and life changing trip!

AZ really make you feel like you are a part of a family when you travel with him. I would recommend him to anyone who asks. Az is extreme polite, very organised and as I said very knowledgeable.

Az is one hell of a human being, he's kind and funny and knows how to keep a group positive and happy. Not to mention his killer dance moves. I honestly could not recommend him higher. As for the trip itself the Bali island hopper is something everyone should do. Our accommodation was what I would consider 5 star and the destinations are pure paradise. Although as Az helped our group realise paradise isn't a place it's a feeling you share with the people around you. Bali with az and my contiki family was one hell of a trip and it will certainly be hard to top.

His incredible knowledge of all the areas and local culture truly enhanced the experience. He was committed to the job and to ensuring that every person had the best experience possible. Az was always ready to join in on the party, but still every morning was prepared and organised for the day ahead. He knew all the greatest cultural and tourist spots as well as great restaurants, bars and rave-caves, making every day amazing. Greatest of all, his enthusiasm and friendly nature was a pleasure to be around.
