I would like to amend slightly my previous review.
Ozintro was a very nice experience. I liked the itinerary of the tour and the activities we got involved in, like learning to surf, sand boarding et…I would like to amend slightly my previous review.
Ozintro was a very nice experience. I liked the itinerary of the tour and the activities we got involved in, like learning to surf, sand boarding etc.
The meals were good with veggie/vegan options available.
Phoebe is a great tour guide. She certainly did a great job so that we enjoy the tour to the fullest.
The only downside of the tour was the accommodation and that is why I rate the tour as 4/5 instead of 5/5. The hostel was a bit noisy, dirty and the reception was not very friendly when I checked in.
I would recommend Ozintro. It is a great way to start your trip in Australia.
I felt that the best time to do it, is when you are between 18 to 25 years old.
There is no rule to that, but at my late 20s I felt slightly old for that. However everybody was very welcoming so this did not really impact my whole experience.
I had a great time. Phoebe was a fantastic tour leader and there was always something going on!

It was really amazing with all the help for find work in Oz! Phoebe was amazing and always made sure everyone felt included and was having a great time! I wish there were a few more activities include…It was really amazing with all the help for find work in Oz! Having been on Thai Intro a few years ago, I had really high hopes for this tour. It however ended up being pretty disappointing largely due to quite an empty itinerary. I booked on the Oz Adventure t…Having been on Thai Intro a few years ago, I had really high hopes for this tour. It however ended up being pretty disappointing largely due to quite an empty itinerary. I booked on the Oz Adventure thinking it would be more suitable as I was only in Australia for 12 days but it was basically the Oz Intro tour with free time whenever anything work or set up related was being run with those on the Intro tour. On a tour that already had a lot of free time, the extra free made this tour not great value for money for me. The best days of the tour were those organised by Mojo Surf which were great! Our tour was pretty unlucky in that we had transport issues on the way to Port Stephens which meant our itinerary changed quite a bit but they still tried their best to fit as much in as possible (though we sadly were unable to make the dolphin cruise which was a shame). Accommodation in Port Stephens was great, particularly when compared with in Base in Sydney. Base was smelly and dirty and the rooms were pretty run down for a hostel in a 'western' country. Could definitely do with a clean up. Overall, not the worst tour but having now been on several similar tours if you are not looking to get set up in Australia then you could probably do a better planning it yourself and adding a few days with Mojo surf.
Perfect and fun week to start of my OZ journey. Good opportunity to meet new people especially if solo travelling and made future plans travelling less stressful.
