WOW!!!! Where do I begin! I think everyone in their lifetime should at least visit this country and its people once. And for sure use TruTravels for your tour. When my sister first suggested the idea …WOW!!!! Where do I begin! I think everyone in their lifetime should at least visit this country and its people once. And for sure use TruTravels for your tour. When my sister first suggested the idea of traveling the Philippines with a tour I was a bit hesitant because I wanted to get a real experience of what this country has to offer. But I can certainly say now that I'm so glad we got to experience this great country with TruTravels. Starting with our tour companion Brayden, he was so much fun! He was great at including everyone and ensuring that we each were having a great time. His energy definitely added so much to this experience. The tour with TruTravels couldn't have be better. Everything was organized to a T. Couldn't have asked for a better time or group to do it with. I met so many amazing people who have now become my great friends. Loved everything about this trip! XOXO

I found the hotels in very great locations and the staff were all friendly. The BBQ boodle fight lunch we had was great, overall I found this tour amazing and would definitely do this again. I believe the tour is very well organized with different activities everyday. Before coming I thought it would be all day long laying on the beach but not at all. Island hopping and canyoneering were two great activities that really helped to bring the group together. I will recommend this tour to my friends because it was worth the money and with Brayden as the tour conductor it was even better. He always provided us with tips in each place as to were we could go for food and told us great stories... he just made the trip perfect.

It was a beautiful country and I would recommend using TruTravels to anyone. The restaurants and nightlife were top quality and the mix between the culture and partying was just right. The island hopping day was my favorite day by far. So beautiful and the sea is the nicest I've ever swam in.

I think Brayden made the most of our group by being so open minded and friendly to everyone. The canyoning trip was my favorite part besides the snorkelling. The trip combined activities and relaxing days very well. It was the first time I joined an organized trip and I had so much fun I would definitely do it again. :)

I really liked the fact that Brayden knows the local people and would immerse us in the culture. The transports were perfect, I loved using the tuk tuks and tricycles. Accommodation was also amazing. I loved every minute of this tour. Brayden and Dan are amazing, and such good craic! My only issue with this tour was that it wasn't long enough. Highlights for me was definitely Siquijor in general and also the boat trip in Siargao. I would recommend this tour if you are interested in exploring the Philippines and want to have a fab time doing it.

All the waterfalls we went to were gorgeous and watching the sunset on the beach in Siquijor with some locals was a highlight for sure :) I had the best time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone wanting a little taste of the Philippines. The amazing guides (Brayden, Dan, Pat and River) get you from point to point seamlessly. They are truly knowledgeable about the area.

Patrick and Braydon were really awesome guides - not just guides, but friends :). We had a great time with them - no single moment I'd regret. Always positive mood, was the best team to spend 10 days together. My highlights were - Moalboal - swimming with sardines and seeing first time corrals and other sea life:) were indeed unforgettable moments - and canyoneering, an adventurous experience which increased a bit our adrenaline level :D.

This …I went on The Philippines tour after a recommendation from a friend who had done the Thailand tour. This is the 3rd tour I have done on my 6 month travel adventure and my first with Tru Travels. This has been the funnest tour i have been on so far and my guides Braydon and Patrick were great. They walked the perfect line between professional/attentive and fun/like one of the group. Even when everyone was partying and we'd all had a few drinks they were always available to help out if needed which I haven't experienced before. Whether this was the drunken heart to hearts, or being medic to drunk stumble injuries!
The accommodation was great, after months of hostels staying in actually beds in the first few places was so nice. They were very clean, had pools and good food in all.
We did really fun activities and I ended up doing things I would never have booked on my own, and they were SO much fun. Jumping of cliffs, canyoneering, swinging on a platform swing. Plus we were travelling with such a great group of people and just had so much fun the whole time.
If you want to experience the philippines then I would highly recommend this tour. I travelled afterwards to a few other islands and ran into so many problems, whereas everything ran like clockwork on the tour and you have great guys taking care of you the whole time. I also met two of the other people involved in Tru Travels and they were also great people.
If you are thinking about it BOOK IT!

You go on awesome boat trips that have incredible snorkel spots, you see some of the most unbelievable waterfalls that you can imagine, go canyon…I did the trutravels Philippines tour and it was EPIC! You go on awesome boat trips that have incredible snorkel spots, you see some of the most unbelievable waterfalls that you can imagine, go canyoneering, see a faith healer, jump off cliffs, you can try paddle boarding and there’s lots of opportunities to have the odd cocktail or two as well! Our guides Patrick and Brayden were fabulous! Super organised and loads of fun too. We had a really good group of people as well which made it even more special. If you have the opportunity to do this tour then DO IT! You won’t regret it.

The tour guides (Brayden and Patrick) were the best people to spend the 10 days with and they made sure that there was always a great atmosphere and that everyone was happy. The tour is a great way to meet people who become great life long friends and has the best activities and plans than ANY tour that I've ever been on. Without TruTravels providing great accommodation, stress free travel, good momentum and a very well though out tour, I would have struggled to see the Philippines in the light that I did. Hats off Tru Crew... another sick tour!

The accommodation was good throughout and we were lucky to have two great guides in Patrick and Brayden. They joined in with everything and really helped to make it the experience it was.
We were the first group to do a TruTravels Philippines tour and I think because of this, in places, it wasn't as smooth as it could have been... the route could perhaps be tweaked a bit, some organisation could have been a bit slicker. But these are just teething problems and when the guides gain a bit more local knowledge I'm sure it'll run perfectly.
On the whole in was fantastic and I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend TruTravels or the Philippines as a destination!

The accommodations were defi…I thought our trip to the Philippines was a great experience! My highlights included canyoneering, cliff jumping and the Mad Monkey Booze Cruise! All were epic excursions! The accommodations were definitely more geared towards backpacker style (if I were to do the trip again I would probably bring a backpack instead of my rolly suitcase). I felt the location of the accommodations were great in proximity to night life, getting into town and the beaches as well as restaurants and convenience stores. Also the food and drinks at all of the accommodations were delicious.
Transportation was great, I loved riding in the traditional Jeepney's, trikes, and scooters.
Patrick and Brayden were extremely nice, laid back dudes and they were both very helpful and courteous to everyones needs and wishes. They were a blast to hangout with and definitely made the trip memorable. I think they lack some overall knowledge of the Philippines and the areas/culture, but I'm sure this is because it was the first tour to the Philippines and will come with more experience and time. Maybe hiring a local tour guide would help educate the crew on language, areas, Philippines facts/history, best restaurants to eat at etc. Also, I wish the itinerary could have included El Nido and Palawan Beach, or possibly make the tour longer to incorporate these two stops. I'm sure these kinks will get worked out the more this tour runs. I enjoyed the sleep in days where we had time to ourselves to explore the areas, scuba dive and adventure on our own if we wanted.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family. I have memories that will last a lifetime!

Enjoyed 23 days on the full moon island hopper, brayden did an amazing job with the large, crazy group of 27! They really went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and were on hand whenever we needed to help out when any of us had issues (and we were a bit of a nightmare so that was quite often) - Based on this experience I wouldn’t hesitate to book onto another trutravels tour. Even tho we had a large group they were both extremely helpful with helping out every single person with any questions or issues. Oneway personally helped me retrieve my passport and arranged shipping etc and Brayden literally saved my life. We started with a large group of 26 strangers but within no time thanks to Brayden and Oneway we felt like we knew each other forever and left as a family. Overall Brayden and Oneway are both amazing tour guides but even more important they are amazing people that make you feel like your with family from day one.

I truely made good friends with everyone on the tour including the guides and seen the best parts of thailand in tru travels style. I am already planning to book another trip next year. 5 stars.
