An unforgettable Egyptian desert experience We had a fantastic experience with Marko Egypt Tours, who organised our stay at the Sand Rose Hotel and tour of the Black and White Desert\. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt\. Marko Egypt Tours were incredibly organised and responsive from the beginning\. Communication was excellent, arrangements were clear, and they were always quick to answer questions or provide advice\. Everything was handled professionally and respectfully, and the drivers were reliable, punctual and safe\. They were also a great source of general advice while travelling in Egypt\. At the Sand Rose Hotel, Mohammad was a wonderful host and made us feel genuinely welcome\. The hotel felt authentic to the location and local culture, which really added to the experience\. The home\-cooked local food was excellent, and eating fresh dates picked straight from the garden was a lovely first for us\. Our desert guide, Magdy, was fantastic\. His knowledge of the desert, its landscapes and local history comes from generations of connection to the area, and experiencing it with him made the trip much more meaningful\. Camping in the White Desert was the real highlight\. Watching the sunset, enjoying a delicious dinner prepared in the middle of the desert, and sleeping beneath an incredible sky full of stars was something we won’t forget\. When we arrived back in Cairo, Hossam and Ahmed met us to make sure everything had gone smoothly and to check whether we needed anything further\. This thoughtful follow\-up was another example of how well looked after we felt throughout the experience\. The combination of Marko Egypt Tours’ organisation and support with the genuine local hospitality of Mohammad and Magdy made this a very special experience\. We felt comfortable, respected and well looked after throughout\. We would highly recommend Marko Egypt Tours, particularly for anyone wanting to experience the Black and White Desert as part of their travels in Egypt.
