Stockholm to Copenhagen
Travel south along the coast to Helsingborg, then take a 20-minute ferry to Helsingør, Denmark. Stop at Kronborg Castle, which inspired Shakespeare's Hamlet, before continuing to Copenhagen. Book your ferry ahead during busy season to avoid long waits.

Start with a morning city tour including Christiansborg Palace and the Little Mermaid statue. Visit Tivoli Gardens in the evening to see the historic amusement park lit up. Stay in Vesterbro or Sydhavnen for good transport links and quieter surroundings than the city center.

Hotels usually require checkout by 10 AM but will store your luggage. If flying from Kastrup Airport, the metro takes 30 minutes from central Copenhagen, with trains running every 4-6 minutes.
