3-Day Israel and Jordan Tour Packages
Israel and Jordan together? Doable! Quick trips probably mean Petra from Eilat/Aqaba border, or Jerusalem plus quick Jordan visit. You could also head to the Dead Sea for a relaxing float. Quick visits are genuinely rushed, both countries deserve more, but if time's limited, it's doable, and you’ll still have a brief experience that will make you want to return.

3 Day Israel Religious Sites Itinerary, incl. Jerusalem and Masada
Sacred pathways unfold across Israel and Jordan in this 3-day tour from approx. $580. The Masada fortress, Dead Sea floating, and Jerusalem's Via Dolorosa lead to Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity. Two nights' Jerusalem accommodation includes breakfast.

- Day 1
Masada and Dead Sea
Leave early (6:30 AM from Tel Aviv or 7:50 AM from Jerusalem) to avoid the desert heat at Masada. The cable car takes 3 minutes to reach the summit. Get there before 9 AM to beat the tour groups. You'll need a hat, sunscreen and 2 liters of water per person since the fortress area offers minimal shade. Plan about 2 hours to explore Masada's ruins. Visit the Dead Sea in the early afternoon during peak heat. Pack water shoes to protect your feet from sharp salt crystals on the beach. Skip shaving that morning as the mineral-rich water can sting cuts. Most people spend about an hour floating due to the intense minerals.

- Day 2
Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Start at Mount Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Hit the Via Dolorosa early before the Old City gets crowded. Religious sites require modest dress - cover shoulders and knees. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre before 9 AM or after 4 PM when it's quieter. For Bethlehem you'll cross a checkpoint - bring your passport. Wait times range from 15-30 minutes. The Church of the Nativity usually has long queues to see the grotto, but lines are shorter in late afternoon.

- Day 3
Jerusalem Religious Sites
Walk the Mount of Olives in the morning while it's cool. The path down is steep with slippery stones. The Garden of Gethsemane opens at 8:30 AM and fills up fast. Walking the Via Dolorosa again lets you notice new details at each station. Many churches close from 12-2 PM. Spend your final hour exploring the Holy Sepulchre's chapels and chambers.

3 Days in Holy Land, incl. Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Three-day journey across Israel and Jordan, visiting 9 significant sites. Cross from Amman to explore Jerusalem's Old City, Bethlehem's Church of Nativity, and Masada fortress. Includes 3-star Jerusalem accommodation and breakfast.

- Day 1
Amman to Jerusalem
Leave Amman early for the one-hour drive to King Hussein/Allenby Bridge border crossing. Budget 2-3 hours for border procedures and bring cash for exit taxes. The VIP service ($170) can speed things up if you prefer. Head straight to the Mount of Olives for Jerusalem views before the crowds gather. Visit Pater Noster Church with its impressive display of the Lord's Prayer in 140 languages. Walk down the Palm Sunday path to Gethsemane. In the afternoon, explore the Old City through Dung Gate to visit the Western Wall. Remember to dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered. Start the Via Dolorosa walk around 2 PM to reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre before it closes at 5 PM.

- Day 2
Bethlehem and New Jerusalem
Take your passport and cross into the West Bank early. Visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem before 8 AM to beat the tour groups. You'll need to bend down to enter through the Door of Humility, which stands just 4 feet high. After seeing the Shepherd's Fields, head back to Jerusalem's New City. Visit the Mahane Yehuda Market in late afternoon but remember it closes early on Fridays. If you plan to visit the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem), set aside 2-3 hours and note it's closed during Shabbat from Friday afternoon through Saturday.

- Day 3
Masada, Qumran and Return
Start your day at 7 AM for the 90-minute drive to Masada. Take the first cable car at 8 AM before the desert heat kicks in. The temperature often reaches 100°F by noon so bring plenty of water. Wear sturdy shoes as the archaeological site has uneven ground. At Qumran, start with the air-conditioned museum before exploring the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery site. It's a 45-minute drive to Jericho, known as the world's oldest city. Plan for a 2-3 hour border crossing back to Jordan in late afternoon.

3 Day Holy Land Itinerary, incl. Jerusalem and Bethlehem
3-day journey crossing Jordan-Israel border to explore Jerusalem's Old City, Bethlehem's churches, and Galilee's religious sites. Visit 8 significant locations with hotel accommodation and entrance fees included for $880 total.

- Day 1
Jerusalem Old City
Leave Amman early for the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge border crossing (1-hour drive). Budget 1-2 hours for immigration and bring cash for exit taxes. The VIP service ($170) can speed up the process. Reach the Mount of Olives by 10 AM to catch perfect morning views of the Old City. The walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane is steep so wear sturdy shoes. Enter the Old City through the Dung Gate to visit the Western Wall. You'll need modest dress with covered shoulders and knees. Women should bring a head covering to approach the wall. Walk the Via Dolorosa before the midday crowds arrive. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre later in the afternoon when lines for Jesus's tomb are typically shorter.

- Day 2
Bethlehem & New Jerusalem
Start early in Bethlehem to avoid tour groups at the Church of the Nativity. Bring your passport for the West Bank crossing. You'll need to duck through the small Door of Humility to enter the church. Visit the Shepherd's Fields in Beit Sahour before returning to Jerusalem's New City. The Mahane Yehuda Market is busiest and most colorful on Friday mornings before Shabbat. Keep in mind that many places close early Fridays and all day Saturday.

- Day 3
Nazareth & Galilee
Make an early start for the 2-hour drive to Galilee. Begin at Capernaum's synagogue ruins but bring sun protection as shade is limited. Take your time with the Sea of Galilee sites as they're spread apart. Find a quiet spot at the Mount of Beatitudes to take in the peaceful surroundings. Finish your day at Nazareth's Church of the Annunciation before the 3-hour drive back to Allenby Bridge and Amman.
