Begin in Bergen, your gateway to Norway's fjords. Get to the UNESCO-listed Bryggen district early in the morning for the best photos before the crowds arrive. End your day in Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city.

- Days 3-4

Take the morning ferry from Hirtshals to Kristiansand. The 3-hour journey offers great coastal views from the port side windows. Drive to Stavanger along Norway's stunning coastline. The next day, head to Bergen using undersea tunnels and ferries. Take the Fløibanen funicular up Mount Fløyen for city views. The temperature drops 5-10°F at the top, so bring a warm layer.

Visit Frogner Park in the early evening when the setting sun creates beautiful shadows on the sculptures. The next day, drive through Sweden's forest landscape to Stockholm.
