Said, our guide, was very friendly, attentive, and passionate about his country. He shared a lot of interesting information with us about local traditions and daily life. Ahmed, our driver, was also excellent, and we always felt safe and comfortable during the trip. We really enjoyed the different stops, the discoveries, and the beautiful moments we shared throughout the trip. It was a wonderful experience, and we’ll cherish the memories forever. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Morocco in an authentic way!

The itinerary gave us such a wonderful variety of Morocco—beautiful cities, charming villages, amazing landscapes, local culture, and unforgettable experiences. One of the highlights was definitely our night in the luxury desert camp. It was absolutely magical and something we will always remember.
The riads and accommodations throughout the trip were excellent. Even in smaller towns where there weren’t many options, the team managed to find comfortable and welcoming places with wonderful hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious, and having several dinners included was also a lovely touch.
What really made the journey special, though, was the people we met along the way. Everywhere we went, we experienced genuine kindness and hospitality. We always felt welcomed and appreciated as guests in Morocco.
A special thank you goes to Said, our guide, and Mohammed, our driver. From the moment we met them, we felt completely comfortable. Said was knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to share stories and information about Morocco, while Mohammed was an excellent and careful driver who made us feel safe throughout the entire journey. Over those 14 days, they became much more than our guide and driver—they became friends.
Looking back, we feel that we experienced Morocco in a truly personal and meaningful way. We came home with wonderful memories, countless photos, and two new friends in Said and Mohammed.

From the moment we were picked up in Agadir, we felt completely looked after. The journey took us through some of the most incredible and diverse scenery we have ever seen — from the beautiful countryside and mountains to the valleys, kasbahs and, of course, the breathtaking Sahara Desert.
What we loved most was that, even though we travelled a long distance, we never felt rushed. We had time to stop when we wanted, enjoy the views, take plenty of family photos, explore the different places along the way and really enjoy being together. Every day brought something different, and the children especially loved the excitement of arriving in the desert and experiencing Merzouga.
Our driver, Abidine, was fantastic and quickly became a big part of our experience. He was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable, and he made the long drives enjoyable. He was always happy to chat with us, answer our questions and point out interesting places and things we would probably have missed on our own. We always felt safe and comfortable with him.
Said, who handled the communication from the office, was also excellent. From our first contact during the booking process until the day we were collected in Agadir, he kept us updated and made everything feel easy and well organised.
As a family, we came away feeling that we had seen so much of Morocco in just four days and, more importantly, created some wonderful memories together that we’ll be talking about for a long time.

There were definitely long days and long drives, but somehow they became part of the adventure. By the time we reached Casablanca, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to friends rather than finishing a tour. A trip we’ll remember for a very long time.

What made it special wasn’t only the incredible places we visited, but all the little moments in between — the long conversations in the car, stopping for tea, watching the landscape change through the window, laughing with our team, and sometimes simply sitting quietly and taking in how far away from everyday life we were.
We began in Marrakech, and from the first days we knew this was going to be very different from an ordinary holiday. As we left the city behind, the landscape gradually changed from busy roads and villages to mountains, valleys and huge open spaces. One of our favorite things was never knowing exactly what the next day would look like.
There were mornings when we left early, still half asleep, with a coffee or Moroccan tea in hand, and watched the sunrise over the road. Sometimes we stopped in small places for breakfast or a cup of tea, and those simple breaks ended up becoming some of our favorite memories. We also loved the spontaneous photo stops whenever something caught our attention — a beautiful landscape, a herd of animals, a small village or just an incredible view stretching endlessly into the distance.
Crossing through the Sahara was an experience in itself. There is something difficult to explain about driving for hours surrounded by nothing but sand, rocks and sky. At times we would stop the vehicle, get out, and just stand there in complete silence. Those were the moments when we really understood how vast this part of the world is.
One evening in the desert, we sat outside after dinner looking at the stars. There were no city lights and almost no noise, and the sky seemed completely different from what we are used to seeing at home. It was one of those simple moments that photographs can never really capture.
Another highlight was Dakhla. After so much desert scenery, suddenly seeing the ocean felt almost surreal. We enjoyed walking around, taking in the views and experiencing the completely different atmosphere. It was also interesting to see how the landscape and lifestyle changed as we continued south.
The journey through Mauritania was probably one of the biggest adventures of the entire trip. The roads, the desert, the small settlements and the feeling of being so far from everything made every day feel like an expedition. There were moments when we simply looked out of the window for a long time without saying anything because the landscape was so impressive.
We particularly enjoyed the moments when we got away from the main route and had the chance to see everyday life. Meeting local people, seeing small villages and watching how people live in such remote areas made the journey feel much more authentic. These weren’t just places we passed through for a few minutes — they gave us a glimpse into cultures and lifestyles that were completely different from ours.
There were also plenty of funny little moments. Long hours in the vehicle naturally lead to conversations, jokes and stories, and by the middle of the trip it felt less like travelling with a guide and driver and more like travelling with people we already knew. We would sometimes discuss where to stop, what food to try, or simply joke about how many kilometers we still had to go.
Guide Said was a huge part of that experience. He was friendly and easygoing, but also very knowledgeable. We could ask him about almost anything — Moroccan traditions, the desert, Mauritania, local history, food or everyday life — and he was always happy to explain. He also understood when we wanted to stop and enjoy a place rather than rush through it just to follow a schedule.
And a special mention for Driver Yahya. After spending so many days together on the road, we really appreciated having someone calm, experienced and dependable behind the wheel. Some of the driving days were long, particularly through the remote desert areas, but Yahya always remained patient and professional. We felt safe with him throughout the entire journey.
One of the most interesting parts was crossing from Mauritania into Senegal. You could really feel that the atmosphere was changing. The landscapes became greener, the villages looked different, and suddenly there were more people, animals and activity around us. It felt like we were entering another world.
In Senegal, we loved slowing down a little and experiencing the local atmosphere. Saint-Louis was a memorable stop, with its streets, architecture and lively atmosphere. We enjoyed walking around, taking photographs and simply observing daily life. It was nice to put the camera away sometimes and just sit somewhere, have a drink and watch people going about their day.
Then came Lac Rose, which was another unforgettable moment. After spending so many days surrounded by desert, seeing the lake and the landscapes around it was a beautiful change. We took plenty of photos, but again, the real memory was simply being there after everything we had experienced along the way.
Finally reaching Dakar felt surprisingly emotional. After 18 days of travelling through three countries, countless kilometers, early mornings, desert roads, border crossings, new foods and so many conversations, arriving at our final destination felt like completing a real adventure rather than simply finishing a holiday.
Looking back, some of our favorite memories aren’t necessarily the biggest attractions. They are the roadside tea, the sunrise, the unexpected stops, the conversations in the car, laughing after a long day, watching the stars in the desert, meeting people along the way, and realizing how far we had travelled from Marrakech.
This trip isn’t for someone looking for a quick, predictable holiday. There are long days on the road and moments when you have to be patient, but that’s exactly what makes it an adventure. You don’t just visit Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal — you travel through them.
For us, the combination of Marrakech, the Sahara, Dakhla, Mauritania, Saint-Louis, Lac Rose and Dakar created an incredible story that we will remember for a very long time.
A huge thank you to Guide Said and Driver Yahya for their patience, kindness, professionalism and good humor throughout the journey. They didn’t just take us from one destination to another; they helped turn 18 days on the road into a genuinely personal and unforgettable experience.
We came home tired, with far too many photos, plenty of stories to tell, and the feeling that we had experienced something much bigger than a normal tour. This is the kind of journey you remember.

The highlight was definitely spending two nights in the Sahara near Merzouga. The camel ride, sunset over the dunes, campfire music and sunrise were unforgettable. We also loved visiting the nomads and Khamlia village and getting to see a more authentic side of Morocco. We travelled through Morocco, crossed Mauritania, and continued south into Senegal, seeing landscapes and places that felt completely different from what I’m used to. The long desert roads, small towns, local life, and changing scenery made every day interesting. Visiting Lac Rose was a special moment and a great way to finish such an unforgettable journey.

The desert camp was a real highlight, especially the camel ride at sunset, sandboarding, traditional music around the campfire, and the peaceful atmosphere under the stars. A big thank you to our guide Said, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to share stories about Morocco. Special thanks to our driver Brahim as well for being professional, careful, and making the long drives comfortable. Everything felt well organized but still relaxed and authentic.
