As someone who booked this as a gap filler inbetween travel it completely surpassed every expectation making these two weeks in the Philippines some of the best weeks of travel I had in my 6 month trip!!
Most Importantly, I wouldn’t have had this outstanding trip without the guide Sheena. Sheena was a phenomenal local guide not only giving us insight into the philippines culturally and doing the things you would expect a local guide to do such as speaking the language, Sheena also became an invaluable friend within the group joining in with the group even at times she didn’t have to. Sheena was different to the many other local guides I have experienced as there was never a moment It felt she was separate from the group which meant if you ever needed to ask something it felt like asking a friend rather than someone you paid to be there.
The itinerary of the trip was also amazing with activities such as the school visit which was probably the most fun and wholesome travel experience ive had, really giving insight into Filipino life we also got to try so many new experiences from zipwiring to massages to snorkelling; There was definitely something for everyone.
Again this was an incredible trip, thank you to Sheena and one life adventures for making it happen!!!

I travelled with a group of 18 other females and everyone I met was lovely, ranging from ages of 19-36. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. From start to finish the communication was excellent, and having all the transfers, including from Manila airport and to the airport on our last day took a huge amount of stress off organising those logistics. Most of this was down to our tour guide Sheena. She spent time chatting to all of us, asking our opinions on any options that were available, organising group dinners and drinks so we could all get to know one another and generally making sure we had the best time possible. Sheena also met me at the airport when I arrived in Manila, again taking the stress out of navigating a new city, and helped with check in etc. Sheena also recommended loads of different things to do and places to eat on down days, which was great. I would happily book a One Life group trip again ahead of other group travel companies, and most of that comes down to the amount of activities and meals included, and how brilliant Sheena was.

We were a big group on 17 people, but already from day one she brought us together to one big happy family. She started with presenting her expectations to the trip, both to us, to her and what we were gonna see and experience. I appreciate Sheena not just showing us the attractions, but we learned so much about the Filipino culture and met so many heartfelt people. We saw that our respect for the Filipinos and also for their nature and animal life made them really thankful. On earlier tours with other companies I have experienced tourguides having little energy and taking it only as «work». Sheena wasn’t just our guide, telling us what to do and when. She made her a part of the group, getting to know each and every person. She always looked out for us, making sure we had everything we needed. Even before the trip started she was always available on mail answering every big or little question we had. I always felt safe. And even for two weeks with a lot schechlued in the program there were allways good vibes and allways a Sheena smiling (and dancing). It had to be mentioned that this was her second tour, back to back, and I’m impressed how present Sheena was. She organaized family dinner every night, taking us to the most delicious restaurants. I had high expectations, but now I’m impressed of how much planning that is behind the tour and every person who has participated making us feel welcome and looked out for. From transport, to delicious food, hostels/hotels. It is a high standard and you relay get what you have paid for! This was a life experience, and again I have to give a huge applause to Sheena. What a woman she is. Don’t think twice about this opportunity, go for it because you want regret it!

We had a tropical storm which left us stranded in el nido for an extra day but we had extra activities organised to make up for it, which is a huge bonus of group tours having everything sorted for you really takes the stress out of travelling. I definitely recommend.

The itinerary was well-balanced, the accommodations were super good given the overall price-quality, and the activities were superbly chosen. I don't have a single negative point to mention. Philippines has it all! Dream beaches, stunning landscapes, a rich culture, and incredibly welcoming people. It's a destination that exceeds all expectations.
What can I say about Sheena? She is simply indescribable! Her professionalism is out of this world. Every day, we received the details for the following day clearly and promptly. She was the light of the group, always with contagious energy, ready for fun and to ensure we were all having the best time. We traveled during the rainy season, but this was not a problem. The rains were brief and momentary, and in no way disrupted the flow of activities or the magic of the trip. It was a succession of fantastic moments! From the beach camps and island hopping to the snorkeling sessions exploring marine life, unique Port Barton and chill vibe, to stunning sunsets, music, and constant fun and of course the Philippine experience cultural. To top it all off, I couldn't have asked for a better group. It was a cohesive, fun group with fantastic energy, which made the whole experience even more special.
I highly recommend One Life Adventures to all travelers, especially if you are lucky enough to have Sheena as your guide. It was a 10 out of 10 adventure!!

brought a new highlight, whether it was the sweet charm of Port Barton, camping on private islands awaking to sunrise, or snorkelling through crystal-clear waters with colourful sea life & a Japanese warship below or feasting on Filipino food cooked fresh on the boat.
But what truly made this trip unforgettable was our guide, Sheena - my Queen Sheena for her sunshine energy lighting up even the rainiest day. She didn’t feel like a guide, but a close friend showing us the best of the homeland she loves. Sheena went so far above and beyond what any of us expected, organizing extra activities close to her heart like local feeding programmes for school children to introducing us to a dog sanctuary, finding ways to make our travels meaningful as well as magical.
Her passion, kindness & humour brought our group of nine beautiful strangers together into something that felt like family.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Sheena enough: she’s a true ray of sunshine, and both our group and One Life are so lucky to have her. ? ?

Sheena is one of those rare guides who truly pours her heart into every moment. She wasn’t just leading a tour — she was sharing her culture, her love for her country, and her joy for life. She went above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone was comfortable, happy, and having the time of their lives.
We did so many incredible things: island hopping to hidden lagoons and pristine beaches, learning about Filipino history and traditions, cooking chicken adobo the traditional way, trying bamboo stick fighting, and even learning how to make coconut oil from scratch! We swam in turquoise waters, climbed coconut trees, got caught in a rainforest flash flood (which somehow became one of my favourite memories), and ended every day watching the most beautiful sunsets.
What really stood out was how Sheena made everyone feel like family. She has such a warm, genuine energy... she’s funny, patient, and always smiling. Even on long travel days, she kept the group laughing and lifted everyone’s spirits. You can tell she truly cares about the people she meets and the places she shows them.
Sheena, thank you for making my time in the Philippines so special. You’ve inspired me, taught me so much about your beautiful country, and given me memories I’ll never forget. I can’t imagine having done this trip with anyone else.

Without a doubt, it’s one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had while traveling. The group was small, the vibe was fantastic, and the whole atmosphere was amazing.
The trip was nearly all-inclusive, with the exception of a few lunches and dinners, but food in the Philippines is incredibly affordable. Some of the highlights of my journey include two unforgettable island-hopping adventures, complete with overnight stays on private islands, a visit to Port Barton and it’s local school, and of course, exploring the stunning Coron.

Without a doubt, it’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. A small group with an amazing atmosphere! The trip was almost all-inclusive, except for some lunches and dinners, but food is very affordable in the Philippines.
Here are just a few highlights of my trip: two island-hopping adventures with overnight stays on private islands, visiting Port Barton (and its school!), and last but not least, exploring Coron!
This unforgettable experience was made even better by our incredible tour guide, Sheena! She’s bubbly, always smiling, and has a big heart. Her passion for her country shines through, and she’s always eager to share it with others. She truly made our tour extraordinary.
And for all the foodies out there, get ready! You’ll experience authentic Filipino culture through its cuisine, something you’d definitely miss out on if traveling solo.

From start to finish, Sheena was an absolute star. Her knowledge of the places we visited was impressive, but it was her warmth and enthusiasm that really made the trip special.
Sheena went out of her way to make sure we were all comfortable, answering questions, sharing fascinating stories about the history and culture of the Philippines, and giving us great tips on where to eat and what to do in each area. She was always there with a smile, making sure we had a good time and connecting us with the local culture in a way that felt personal and authentic.
Her energy was contagious, and she truly made us feel like we were visiting not just as tourists, but as friends. The whole group agreed that it wouldn’t have been the same without Sheena
The trip itself it’s well organised and thought through and we saw and did so many different things over the 10 days - so worth booking! Our only regret was not continuing on to Coron with some of the group!

The highlight of the trip for me was El Nido island hopping - the crystal clear waters and beautiful beaches is something you need to see for yourself. One of the most memorable days was in Port Barton when we visited a local school and then stayed on a private island with the amazing boatboys who made every moment unforgettable. The warmth and hospitality we experienced, especially from Mark and Shenny, gave us a true sense of Filipino culture. We all had such a laugh on the culture day and it was so wholesome.
Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and Sheena’s passion made the experience even more special. I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone seeking adventure, culture, and meaningful connections.

She also had every small detail planned out for us, we didn’t have to stress about anything we didn’t have to think about where to eat, or what to do with our day. She’s always laughing and dancing and singing! Due to her background as a musician, she is a brilliant performer and entertainer, and a beautiful human being inside and out.
The tour itself is so good, I booked to tour South Korea with one life.
Finally, the people from the tour group were hilarious, despite having 22 people on the tour, there was no drama, everyone just had a good time and became instant friends

All hotels and hostels were also great. A big thank you to out local guides as well who took good care of us and did so much for us (going island hopping, cooking, taking care of our luggage and so on).
