This is the worst tour I have ever been on and I’ve traveled to over 60 countries. I would not advise anybody to book thi. We paid over $1400 to be upgraded from 3 star to 4 star hotels for 11 nights.…This is the worst tour I have ever been on and I’ve traveled to over 60 countries. I would not advise anybody to book thi. We paid over $1400 to be upgraded from 3 star to 4 star hotels for 11 nights. For the first 2 nights he put us in a 2 star home stay and has refused to answer my questions why. All but 2 hotels out of the entire itinerary were of 4 star standard. The rest were rubbish with broken facilities throughout the room. The car leaked puddles of water into the back passenger side and soaked my backpack and belongings on 2 occasions. Fortunately the driver was able to fix it. The operator Amit has lied to us on many occasions, rang and abused me over the phone and accused me of lying about the state of the properties he booked us into. Tour Radar have been helpful but I would not recommend this tour company to anyone and believe they should stop partnering with him as he is rude, dismissive, completely incompetent and a total loser. We had a terrible experience and he ruined our trip to Kerela. Don’t even think about this tour

I took my time to write this review. India is epic, and I’m glad I joined this tour. All the guides were super friendly. The driver spoke some English and was incredibly helpful—he even slowed down the car so I could take photos through the window (I told him it was okay, haha).
As with most tours, minor issues did happen, but the guides handled them professionally. Overall, I had a good experience.
Would I travel with the Golden Triangle India tour operator again? Yes.

⭐ TourRadar Review – Caution Advised (1 Star)
This rating is for TourRadar as a booking platform, not the tour itself.
TourRadar acts as a middleman between travelers and local operators. When everything goes well, it’s fine. But if something goes wrong, you’re mostly left to deal with it on your own.
I’ve completed four tours through TourRadar. Three were okay. But my Sri Lanka tour with Mango Vacations was a disaster.
For weeks, the operator didn’t respond to my questions about pickup arrangements. Then, just one week before departure, they finally replied—saying the tour couldn’t go ahead. They offered a last-minute change to the itinerary or cancellation. At that point, I had already booked non-refundable flights.
It felt like a textbook bait-and-switch tactic—intentional or not. Mango Vacations advertises 17 different tours as having daily departures, which raises serious doubts about whether they even have the capacity to deliver what they promise.
If you’re a non-EU traveler or based in a country where TourRadar has no local presence, you have little to no consumer protection. In such cases, it might be better to have a local travel agent contact the tour operator directly—so you’re protected under your local consumer rights if something unfair happens.
Booking through TourRadar is a gamble. If it works, great. But if it doesn’t, TourRadar won’t take responsibility—they’ll expect you to deal directly with the operator, even if the problem was avoidable or systemic.

This Golden Triangle Tour is amazing. It met all my expectations and more. I had the most amazing guides who were very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the places we visited.

The tour was very well organized. We visited fantastic places and also had enough free time to explore on our own. Our driver was excellent. All the guides provided a lot of information.

Our guides in Jaisalmer gave us a deep dive into desert life and old trade routes. The camel safari in Osian was a fun touch. The vehicle had good legroom and AC, which helped on long drives. The hotel staff in Udaipur and Jaipur were especially kind. Overall perfect trip for better comfort upgrade your hotels.

The visas take longer than an afternoon now and the price for the direct flight trippled. So instead we spent the last week in Nepal, Kathmandu and Chitwan. Over all the tour was well organized, the guides where good and the cars well kept. I would recommend to upgrade to 4 star hotels in India, because some of the 3 star hotels we had were really not good.The tour operator is always reachable in the person of Amit, who is very nice and helpful.

But this was never mentioned again. As the tour starts every day, I couldn't imagine that there would be a group every day.
In the end, I was traveling alone with an Indian driver. He spoke English well enough for the essentials, but was often difficult to understand due to our different pronunciation. The tour operator in India was Golden Triangle India Tours.
The driver drove very well and did a good job
The tour was well organized. I was able to see many sites and still had some time for myself as well. Very good tour.

I found tour enjoyable and well organised. My driver was tremendous and made my time on the tour fun. I wasn't pressured and enjoyed ny time in India.
