I would definitely recommend going on this tour as the places we visited were beautiful and the activities were exciting. Mike was an amazing tour guide booking group dinners so we could connect more as a group and giving little fun facts throughout the tour to make the history of Japan all the more interesting and fun. I would definitely go on this tour again as I had an amazing time with a great group of people and an interesting, fantastic tour guide.

Both had very good suggestions on what to do or where to go eat, and both were down to do new experiences with us. Honestly I was a little nervous to do the tour but both guides made us comfortable and made the entire experience so fun! I would take this tour again or any tour if they were my tour guides! 10/10 awesome experience!!

I thought it was going to be good, but it blew my expectations away. We did everything advertised and so much more, it was an amazing way to see Japan for the first time and go to all the best spots. I loved everywhere we went in Tokyo, but the temple stay and learning from the Monk there may have been my favorite, and the food! Seeing Mt. Fuji and our accommodation in Hakone was beautiful as well. Kyoto is really cool too - I loved the kimono rental and going out around that area, plus we were lucky enough to see a couple geisha.
I cannot say enough good things about the tour and our tour guide, Mike, he was very knowledgeable and made sure to look out for everyone on the trip at all times. The itinerary was perfect, so much fit into a short time, but I really never felt too rushed and there was enough free time every day along with so many activities. All the accommodations were great, activities and food all amazing, and our guide helped to facilitate such a nice dynamic with everyone. Again, I cannot say enough good things about this tour, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent organization and great tour. I enjoyed the hole 14 days. Expected more from some included activities. The speed is sometimes too high to enjoy every visited place.

He is incredibly knowledgeable about Japan, and it’s food, culture, and history and …Our tour guide for the 10 day trip was Mike Mazurkiewicz and I can’t imagine having done the tour with anyone else. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Japan, and it’s food, culture, and history and I learned so much about all of the places we visited. His sense of humor, kindness, and care for everyone in the group had us feeling like we all had found a second family within the first couple of days. It was the most incredible travel experience of my life, and I would book any tour that Mike was leading in the future without hesitation.
This was an amazing tour! There was so much to do and such a range of activities to do each day, there's something for everyone! Touring the different locations was amazing, each with their own quirks…This was an amazing tour! Touring the different locations was amazing, each with their own quirks to explore, and as well as the activities that come with the tour; there's plenty free time to explore on your own or try other activities the tour guide suggests! Mike was an amazing tour guide, able to adapt the tour to the group and each individual, always on hand to provide extra information and recommendations! Would highly recommend, Japan is beautiful.

My overall experience with one life was good! I was on the 14 days extension tour. There were no problems what so ever. The guides had control of everything. The transportation went so smooth. Mike wa…My overall experience with one life was good! I was on the 14 days extension tour. There were no problems what so ever. The guides had control of everything. The transportation went so smooth. Mike was a legend. He showed so much engagement and passion when it came to guiding and giving everyone and good time. Sarah was also such a great guide. She made sure we always did what the group wanted to do and was helpful with planning throughout the trip. If you had any problems you could always go to Mike or Sarah and then they would help you out. I was promised a return Shinkansen ticket which apparently wasn’t One Life’s fault, but Mike and Sarah fixed it without me having to do anything about it.
Only downsides to the tour was that you sometimes needed to get your expectations down a bit when it came to activities. Most of them were nice, but the sake tasting was really short and we only tried to different ones without any one telling about sake and how they made it the distillery.

Not only did we get to see many of the landmarks of Japan, but we were able to be immersed into the Japanese culture. I believe this experience was made possible not just because of the itinerary, but because of the steps my tour guide Mike took to go above and beyond what was expected and provide us with memories for a lifetime.
