The guide and crew did everything to make the trip as enjoyable as possible, and the wider company also ensured everything went smoothly, with airport runs, accommodation, etc. The main negative issue, dropping a star in the rating, was the tents used by Almighty. They are just not as stable as the geodesic design that most other operators are using, and have been for many years. Some of the campsites did get very windy, and my tent collapsed and filled with dust on more than one occasion. This lead to sleepless nights, which did not set me up for success!

We’re glad we did as our guides (Innocent, Mushi, and Mark), porters (too many to name - it takes a lot of support to get 9 tourists up and down a mountain), and other travelling companions, made the trip an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
We chose the 7 day Machame route, and all 8 of us safely made it to Uhuru Peak. Having 3 porters join us on summit night definitely helped as it meant we were able to travel as 3 groups, with each person able to ascend as slowly as they needed to.
As for the view from the top... wow. Would recommend.

If anyone has hesitation about their personal safety with Covid, traveling, hotel stays, etc. I would tell them to be mindful during travel, but as for this company and related staff, you needn’t worry, there was always an opportunity to wash your hands, keep a good distance and generally feel welcome and safe.
Myself and two friends used your services at the end of September into October for both climbing Kili and a three day safari. I can honestly say that this was a trip of a lifetime and it was coordinated and pulled off flawlessly. You would expect a few hick ups, but honestly, we didn’t have any. From the time we landed, through the hotel stay, the climb, the safari and back to the airport, it was awesome. I cannot say enough about the people that work for you all. The drivers were knowledgeable and answered all our questions and shared their experiences and culture with us. Denis was always willing to facilitate unplanned stops for shopping and bathroom breaks (otherwise known as “changing a tire”) The guides had a great attitude, endless energy and listened to us when we had concerns and questions. Innocent and Mark kept us motivated and we now know why Innocent is known as 100%; we certainly couldn’t have summitted without him. His patience and attitude every day was amazing. The rest of the group (porters, cook, waiter, etc.) were always happy to assist and even back tracked to help us on tiresome days by carrying bags, bringing us ginger tea and endless encouragement. One of the highlights for me was entering camp and having the entire staff singing and dancing, welcoming us to camp that night and wishing us a safe and successful journey. I will not forget that day. Hotel/restaurant staff was friendly, helpful and kind. They remembered our habits and made our stay special.
The bottom line is this…..I will continue to recommend your company and reiterate the personal touch everyone gave us throughout the 10 days with you. I can’t say enough about the professionalism, knowledge and positive attitude by your staff. Two thumbs up!

We are grateful to Almighty Kilimanjaro for accommodating our numerous changes on travel dates, numbers in our party with no additional fee.
The private climb was awesome, we enjoyed a rather quiet trek as traffic was unusually low not like in 2016 when we had done the Kilimanjaro mini-trek.
Kudos to the Almighty Kilimanjaro Team for the awesome support and wonderful unforgettable memories.
We really appreciate taking our health seriously with COVID 19 precautions, regular sanitizing, protective gear and all ..... Not to forget the great meals!

On arrival at Moshi, I soon discovered that everything about Almighty Kilimanjaro is highly and thoughtfully organized, including the chance to rent from Almighty Kilimanjaro the needed apparel and equipment that you may don’t have with you (thank you Patricia) . And the actual climb to the Roof of Africa by the 8 day Lemosho Route was made so thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding thanks to exceptional leadership of the Trip Leader, Guide Innocent and his vast crew of well trained staff, porters, chefs, and guides. Every single of my personal needs were taken care of by this great crew, including lending a helping hand on the summit day (thank you Saidy). I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro to anyone who is seriously considering doing this great adventure of a life time!

The 5 who made it only were able to do so because of the confidence, helpfulness and determination of our guides, especially Sayidee, Diane And Innocent. Not all your companies are the same- if you want attention to details, responsiveness and 5 star service, booking with almighty Kilimanjaro. They are also one of the only companies to promote women guides. Thanks for a great trip!!

The incredible crew under chief guide Innocent Thadei kept us on track and on course for a successful Kilimanjaro summit. His impeccable mountain climbing expertise and leadership skills kept us all safe and prevented any careless pitfalls. We got along with our committed crew, learning local culture, food,bongo songs and Swahili. We also tasted local banana beer in Moshi after the climb.

Climbing Kilimanjaro has been a lifelong dream of mine, and the only reason I made it to the summit was because of the phenomenal Almighty Kilimanjaro team. From start to finish, their care, patience, and support were beyond anything I could have imagined.
Let’s talk about the food first – because WOW. You don’t expect much at altitude, but Mathew the cook is truly a magician. Every meal was nourishing, delicious, and kept us fueled for the climb. Honestly, the food exceeded all expectations and became one of the highlights of the trip.
Now, the guides… Inocent Arico (Chief Guide) and Baraka (Guide) are absolute legends. Calm, knowledgeable, patient, and endlessly encouraging. If you are climbing Kili, trust me – you want these two leading you. They know the mountain inside out and made us feel safe and supported every single step of the way.
A very special mention must go to Baraka the waiter porter. What a star! Always smiling, attentive, and lifting everyone’s energy when things got tough. His warmth and positivity made the long days so much brighter, and his service was absolutely exceptional.
And then there’s Ali, our summit porter. I don’t have enough words to thank him. When altitude sickness hit me hard on summit night, it was Ali’s kindness, encouragement, and steady support that got me to the top. He and Innocent stayed by my side, reassured me when I felt like giving up, and gave me the confidence to keep moving. Without him, and the help of Innocent - I would not have reached Uhuru Peak. Ali is destined to be an incredible guide one day – he already has the heart and leadership for it.
To the rest of the incredible team – Rama, Novatus, Vicent, Peter, Raiton, Baltazar – your hard work behind the scenes, your smiles, and your encouragement made this expedition unforgettable. Every single one of you played a role in helping us succeed, and I will never forget the part you played in this journey.

Their dedication, expertise, and warmth made this challenging adventure truly remarkable.
The porters were incredible—steadfast and resilient as they navigated the rocky, jagged terrain with heavy gear expertly balanced on their backs and even on their heads. Each time I arrived at camp, my spacious tent was already set up, complete with a table and chair for dining. Their efforts behind the scenes were essential to the trek's success, and I am deeply grateful for their hard work.
The cook, Philemon, went above and beyond to prepare hot, delicious, and varied meals that catered perfectly to my dietary restrictions. Every meal featured fresh fruit, carbs, and protein, along with a comforting soup course for dinner. It was amazing to enjoy such quality meals at altitude, and they provided the energy needed for each day's challenges.
The waiter, Yusto, was always courteous and attentive, delivering meals with a cheerful smile that lifted my spirits even on foggy, rainy days. His responsiveness ensured I felt cared for throughout the trek.
The true star of the experience was my Chief Guide, Innocent, whose expertise and support were invaluable. He stayed by my side every step of the way, advising me on what to wear and carry for each day’s conditions. His knowledge of the mountain and Tanzanian culture enriched the journey, and his vigilance, especially on the more hazardous stretches like the Barranco Wall and the high-altitude ascent from base camp to the summit, ensured my safety. I truly could not have reached Uhuru Peak without his guidance and encouragement.
Despite the persistent fog and rain, the incredible scenery, the camaraderie of the team, and the seamless organization by Almighty Kilimanjaro made this trek one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure to anyone seeking an unforgettable journey on Kilimanjaro. Thank you to my amazing team and Almighty Kilimanjaro for making it possible!

This was one of the best trips of my life, this route is absolutely beautiful and the mountain is hard but doable with all these climatization walks, the whole team was incredible from our guides inno…This was one of the best trips of my life, this route is absolutely beautiful and the mountain is hard but doable with all these climatization walks, the whole team was incredible from our guides innocent and Freddie who had heaps of knowledge about everything Kilimanjaro from the birds to the indigenous flowers, they were a walking book of knowledge which was amazing and also so supportive and helpful, then we had the chef who was amazing, especially for me who has allergies, they made great adjustments so I still had good food with lots of energy!
I would recommend hiring a toilet as it definitely saved us long walks in the cold night, and with altitude medication you don’t want to be too far away from one!
Overall every part of this trip was 5 star, I don’t have a single bad thing to say and I can’t recommend this company and team enough!
If I ever come to Tanzania again for any excursions, I will definitely be using almighty Kilimanjaro and ask for the same team we had.

Aside from being experienced guides, they also were great people to be around while on the trail and at camp. The food was amazing, and they even had a miracle tea to help one of our members who became sick just before summit day.

These guys were amazing. Our entire trip, from airport pickup to airport drop off was seamless. Raffa and Innocent (mountain guide) made us feel like family from the moment we met them at the airport.…These guys were amazing. They had our entire itinerary planned out which included showing us around town, taking us on amazing cultural experience visit to the Masaai Village as well as a fun escape to Kikuletwa Hotsprings (totally recommend both) before the Kilimanjaro climb. Our guides up the mountain, Innocent and Diana in addition to all the amazing porters that came on the climb with us were the best. I could not wish for a better team and will pick them again if I were to do it over. They made sure we had everything we needed for a successful climb and that alone was motivation for us to finish strong! Asante sana Rafikis!
Almighty Kilimanjaro was fantastic and very responsive to any questions I had prior to leaving for the tour. Rasheed was very helpful through the whole process and stuck to his word in providing transportation between tours and to the airport etc. The guides for all of the treks were really great and awesome to talk with. I would definitely recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro to anyone planning to visit Tanzania and want to have a resourceful guide company taking care of your arrangements.
