Thank you travel talk for the recent trip/experience that you organised for us. Your service is much more appreciated now that we can compare what you have done for us as compared with other tour operators like GeTS Holidays. Your brochure is far more transparent and accurate. You give your customers a better chance to take ownership of the trip as you highlight immediately what type of accommodation your customer will have and this gives your customer a chance to review and research your offering. By doing this, you show that you value your customers’ preference and satisfaction over making money. Of course every business should make a profit but at least your company do not come across as daylight robbery.
We looked at your trips to India but did not choose your trips due to unavailability of Diwali Festival celebration. We went for a more expensive company but gave us very poor service. It’s a shame, we should have just stuck with you. One thing guaranteed, we look forward to booking with you again in the future and we will also be an ambassador to your brilliant service.

Accomodation especially in Cairo has to definitely be improved. The Ibis Hotel in Amman was very far from the city centre. Even in a large group, Mostafa took the time to get to know and build a relationship with everybody, creating a family environment with endless laughter and fun we will never forget! He is soooo knowledgeable, yet so humble and funny. Mostafa gave us just the right amount of information to keep our attention without boring us. I have never had such an engaging, exciting, caring and interesting tour guide as Mostafa. He not only explains everything you look at (and don’t understand) In such elaborate detail, but he makes you think, wonder and laugh! I remember talking to him about certain topics, (since I have a lot of questions) and he not only engaged and taught us; but listened and made me really open my mind to so many aspects of Arabic, Muslim and Egyptian culture. He made an unforgettable impression on me, not only as a tour guide, but as a friend..
Anyone should be so lucky to have him as a guide!!

First of all i would like to say that all tour guides we had were excellent. I cant fault their knowledge and all the care they took managing a fairly big groop. We had 3 guides in total.

The best part for me was the felucca boat trip. It was so smooth, clean, staff were amazing.
But there were a lot of inconsistencies a lot of disappointment.
First of all it was surprising how expensive the tour was in the end. Travel Talk are very deceiving. You will find that itinerary states included activities - sightseeing etc etc but infact these are not included. You need to pay entrance fees in ALL temples that are in the itinerary. And yes they do state that entrance fees are not included however it seemed like nothing at all was included. I am not sure what the £1000 (including local payment which i thing is absolute nightmare to carry all this money arround) covered as we still had to put money asside for all entrance fees. And it was extremely hard to budget because these fees are not noted in the itinerary.
All optional activities you can plan but be ready to spend atleast another £100 for the "included" sightseeing.
In Egypt abosolutley no choice for food. We did not get any suggestions about local foods to try, all we did was buffet style lunch where all the places served exactly the same thing. And it was not cheap. So count in another £6 plus drinks for all your lunches. in a local cafe you could easily get an authentic meal for half that price. All group members were really fed up with buffet lunches by the end of the trip.
I would not recommend going to Nubian dinner but i would recommend going Beduin dinner if you can only afford one.
In Nubian diner you get the same food as in the buffet and it wasnt much value for the money disappointed with this.
I am in two minds about this trip. We seen a lot and the information was great and activities were good.
On the other hand Travel Talk have worded their itinerary so bad that you end up spending soo much more extra that doesn't leave much money for souvenirs.
I recommend Egypt and Jordan but not with Travel Talk.

They are amazingly knowledgeable and well-seasoned guides. Hotels were more 3 and 4 than 4 and 5 but pleasant each with their own hidden gem. The Gullet could have used a sprucing up - but again the crew was amazing. The charter busses were excellent with great drivers.
I had an amazing time touring almost the entire country - I'm not a tour kind of person but this was the right choice for this trip. AND all my fellow travelers were terrific company

We made like 6/7 stops, which can certainly be reduced to 2/3. Seems that our schedule was just stretched only to fill the day tour. It was very tiring to stay on the bus all day. We could have arrived at the hotel earlier and enjoy the facilities at the hotel. That’s one of the main reasons we booked this tour with 4/5 stars hotels. Also for 3days staying in Greenland hotel in Fethiye, the pool and gym closes at 6pm and opens at 8am. This doesn’t make sense as we have tour schedules during the day, it is impossible for us to enjoy any facilities at the hotel. Also, none of the entrance fees or activities are included, they are all optional, but they will make the stops anyways so be prepared to pay extra 500 -700 euros if you want all these activities with the tour.

The itinerary is packed, but it includes a "greatest hits" of highlights, and the services of a professional driver and guide to help you travel the long distances and then get the most out of your visits to each place. For logistics alone, you can't beat the offer. We had Mostafa as our Cairo guide, and he was great! It's definitely a bit of a marathon tour, but you can opt out of certain activities if you need a break, and also the tour is paced so that the lazy days on the felucca are in the middle. All staff I interacted with were excellent in offering whatever help I needed, and I appreciate that. Will definitely travel with TravelTalk again for travels that need a group tour!

We got to see lots of amazing things and our guide was full of knowledge. I enjoyed what we got to see & do HOWEVER buyer beware, this is not a budget option. We were constantly paying paying paying to get into all the sights. The only thing included in this tour are the accommodation & hotel breakfasts, transportation and tour guide. They should really advertise all of the temple visits as optional activities because there are so many of them and you pay for each one so you will need an extra 1650 Egyptian pounds to cover that plus extra cash for any optional activity you want to do.
The underwater world of Dahab was great but the scuba dive company traveltalk used was dishonest,unorganised and time consuming. Jordan was great, the tour guide Mohammed was funny and full of great info but time at Petra was rushed and then you have half a day in Amman with nothing but free time.
Overall I enjoyed it but I wouldn’t recommend travel talk, my advice would be to look for a company that doesn’t charge a seperate local payment, includes temple visits & gives you two nights in Petra rather than two nights in Amman.
