It was honestly the best introduction to the culture and country. We had the most amazing time, Kelly fitted in so much for us to do in the 10 days, whether it was activities or cultural experiences. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to travel Cambodia, it’s a beautiful country and definitely worth the trip. Kelly also helped us with our onward travel and was more than happy to stay in contact after finishing the tour while we were still in Asia. She was incredible and honestly a INSANE tour guide! I can’t pick a best day but watching a beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat temple was incredible! Thankyou so much Kelly and Intotravel!

Kelly was constantly working hard to make sure everything ran smoothly, to catering all our needs and most importantly ensuring we had the best time. The tour itself was exceptional, if you have only a limited time off work, solo travelling, with friends or a partner, it accommodates for all trip styles. There were busy days but always followed up with heaps of free time. Kelly has a great connection with all the locals which just made the experience 10000x more amazing!!
I highly recommend if you have time to, to do the 12day tour and go to the Mekong, definitely wish I had gone. I loved it so much I rejoined my tour group and kept travelling with them on the Intro travel Cambodia trip!
I didn’t even plan to go to Cambodia, but after completing the Intro travel 9 day vietnam tour, I missed my tour fam and couldn’t resist another intro travel tour!! Giving only 12hrs notice I was rejoining, I couldn’t speak more highly of Kelly our tour leader and Intro travel themselves what a bunch of legends! Not only did they organise for me to rejoin, cause i had already done one of their tours they gave me a discount (they do this for all their prev travel enthusiasts)

Kelly and her seemingly always happy attitude towards everything, made the tour that much more enjoyable. Kayla added her Ozzie flare to the trip and showed off her iconic dance moves on a number of occasions throughout and overall did a great job and co-leading the group. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who just wants to experience Vietnam for the first time!

There are many reasons for this starting from the tour leaders, the locations and the…My trip to Vietnam through intro travel has to be one of the most amazing trips I have been on during my gap year. There are many reasons for this starting from the tour leaders, the locations and the food. The most memorable part of the trip was the home stay in Ninh Binh as the food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and the overall experience was so inclusive. The bike tour on the second day was perfect as we cycled through the gorgeous rice paddies, mountains and dirty tracks to experience a very real side to Vietnam. Both tour leaders were very insightful at all locations and always had alternative options if a member of the group wasn’t enjoying it or didn’t like it which made the group feel a lot more welcoming and homely as we could talk to them about anything. Overall amazing trip and would recommend to anyone. Shoutout to Kelly and Kayla.

The itinerary has a good mix of cities and rural areas, which are timed perfectly when you need a bit of chill time. The accommodation at each location was also very good, I particularly liked the home stays with the bamboo bungalows. I would definitely book another tour with IntroTravel, such good value for money!
Tour was fantastic from start to finish with some of the best accommodation and food I’ve experienced on similar tours. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an introduction to Vietnam.

She made the trip!!!!! Everything was so well organized and the itinerary was perfect. The activities were so fun and unique and I will never forget this fantastic trip to Vietnam. The accommodation was great and such a variety!! The home stay in Ninh Binh was my favorite and so beautiful. Thank you Kelly and Intro Travel for such a memorable trip. Highly recommend if you are thinking about doing this trip :)

Such an amazing way to see the country - got to see everything I wanted to in the short space of time. Kelly our tour guide was incredible and so welcoming - wouldn’t have been the same without her!

A fab introduction to Vietnam and the Vietnamese culture. Ha Long Bay was beautiful, my personal favourite. Kelly is so lovely and so much fun, and the group were awesome!!! The only fault I would have would be that I would have preferred more authentic food, however we were a big group of 21 people which makes it more difficult to cater to everyone’s tastes.

Hoi An is a jewel. Beautiful.
Oracle sailing is one of the funniest experiences ever and the cooking lesson was delicious
And then there's Kelly. She literally doesnt know what a fabulous person she is. From the minute we arrived until after we left she barely slept and she was constantly checking on guests to make sure they were happy and enjoying themselves.
She is hilarious, the life and soul of the party but with a careful watchful eye over the group. Nothing is too much trouble and her patience is endless.
Well done Kelly on being such a great Ambassador for Inter Travel and thank you for such an amazing slick experience.

I am so glad I took their advice and booked! A great itinerary with all of the key places you would want to visit. Ha Long Bay was an amazing experience and met some great people along the way. Kayla and Kelly were great leaders and kept us informed and entertained the entire way.
Tour Guide - Kelly was our awesome tour guide. This was her first full tour as a group leader and she smashed it out the park. She really cared about the group. She was always there to help with anything. Her communication and organisational skills were second to none. I have had some very good tour guides in the past, but Kelly trumped them all.
Itinerary - Full and varied. The authentic experiences at the homestays were the best. I would not have been able to complete such a comprehensive tour on my own in 12 days.
Alternative planning - Bad weather stopped us going to Halong Bay for a few days. However, the team did very well in planning alternative arrangements.
Plastic - I really do appreciate the effort Intro has gone through to reduce the use of plastics on its tours by arranging water refill stations throughout the day.
Recommendations-
Food - If you are a foodie, this is not the tour for you. Intro, please change your choice of restaurants. The food at most places was bland and cold. Ironically, the smaller, cheaper, authentic food places served some of the best food I have ever eaten. However, the majority of places were a mix of western and Vietnamese food. Some of the food was diabolically bad. This did impact my overall experience.
Beer street - Please do not partner with a bar on beer street. Let the group decide on their own if they want to chose a bar. By proxy, it made me feel as if I was supporting the explicit child labour that takes place along the street. Intro should have no part in this and should not support any bars along there. It impacts on Intro’s ethical ethos.
Party Boat- Please say on the itinerary this is a party boat. Please also make it clear to the staff on the boat (whom were Western) that pressuring a suspected 12 year old to do take a shot of vodka is unacceptable. Again, partners like this put Intro’s ethical ethos into question.
This stills appears to be a new company finding its way, however they had done a good job with this tour.
