Seyha was the perfect group leader,…The Vietnam north tour was fantastic, a well balanced itinerary with enough down time between activities, but busy enough that we definitely got our money's worth. Seyha was the perfect group leader, he was very energetic and kept us going throughout the trip, and was very knowledgeable and organised. He also allowed us to have some input on what we did in between scheduled activities based on the mood of the group, such as going for walks to photo spots or just relaxing. The only downside was some of the restaurants weren't prepared for the group size so would take significantly longer than expected to get food out. However this was not under Seyha's control and he did his best to help resolve these issues when they came up. I'd highly recommend anyone wanting to travel to go with TruTravels and particularly Seyha as a guide. Will definitely be looking to book again.

However, Seyha was excellent at making us feel comfortable and the group was also really welcoming. The trip was phenomenal. I never thought the trip could get better but each day was better than the day before. My particular highlight was playing football at Hai Long Bay which was simply amazing. I just want to mention that Seyha was really really great. He treated everyone equally and went above and beyond if you needed help. It would not have been the same without him.

He took the time to take people around in small groups to see things they particularly wanted to see or to go to great local restaurants. His infectious energy ensured that everyone was always having a great time! I would recommend this tour to anyone - it was a great way to see Vietnam for the first time and I definitely would not have been able to plan as good of a trip on my own.

His passion and enthusiasm to ensure everyone had the best experience on this trip is unrivalled. Having been on group trips before he as a leader is one of the very best. Not only did he help with arrangements of other activities, he supplied us with lots of knowledge about every area we visited. Not to mention his photography skills are out of this world. It goes without saying some of the photos he’s taken this trip will live in our memories for a lifetime…. He is very talented at what he does. The most important thing for me is how happy and free as a person he’s been. He’s been able to have a ‘good time’ with us all while remaining professional and responsible of a big group of people in challenging places and scenarios… I’d say he thrives off of the pressure. All I have to say is thank you for making this experience one of the best.

Seyha has been one of the best leaders by a mile. Always had constant energy and character to pick people up when they were feeling down, always looking out for everyone to make sure the whole group is happy and content. Seyha maintains that perfect balance of joining in with the group but also being the person in charge. Seyha would always explain the plans and give people enough time to prepare for what’s coming. A group leader like Seyha really allowed me to enjoy the TruTravel experience. Seyha is amazing with photography and video content creation and got great action shots of everyone throughout the trip without even needing to be asked. The photos Seyha has got for me will last me a lifetime as a memory and I’m very thankful. TruTravels should help Seyha with opportunities surrounding this! Who better to make TruTravels content and adverts than someone who’s lived the trip themselves. Seyha was also very knowledgeable and always had facts regarding the culture and activities we did. I had a great time! The itineraries were jam packed so you really feel like you’re making the most of each day (and night). Our tour guide Seyha is what set this tour apart from other companies I have previously toured with. On top of all the fab activities, you have a leader who accompanies you all of the way and acts as a central source of communication and a bridge between the group and the organisation of everything within Vietnam. Seyha is a natural entertainer who made the travelling and activities fun and enjoyable. He has a lot of knowledge of the areas visited and truly catered to every single person’s needs. He made the effort to ensure all members were included at all times and just having a great trip- which we all did! Would highly recommend the explorer trip and Seyha as a guide. You will feel your wanderlust desires are satisfied after completing!

Seyha did a great job trying to manage it, but at points there was nothing he could do as it was the size of the group.

It was a little frustrating to constantly go to “Western food” places to keep some travelers happy when they chose to travel in Asia. It also was definitely more of a party trip than I expected, with what seemed like half the group members hungover and subsequently complaining about the next days activities. However, the schedule was great and I’m glad we got to do everything listed. Our rooms in the hotels were decent, and the travel was very organized to get from place to place.

Seyha is possibly one of the nicest, enthusiastic, most caring and excitable people I have met. He spent the whole time ensuring that we were safe, happy and having the best time we could. He made jokes, told stories and even gave us a few songs...leaving us with memories that we will never forget. He put an emphasis on our safety and even stayed up late making sure that everyone got home and walked the girls home if they wanted to leave a night out early. Nothing was ever too much to ask and he tried his best to give us informative answers and had fun while doing it. Seyha apologised whenever something (completely out of his hands) didn’t go to plan, and we had to remind him that we all loved him and that we didn’t mind. He made us a special group and my experience would not have been as, out of this world, as it was it it wasn’t for him. I hope he continues to have an amazing impact on so many travellers in the future. You are very lucky to have him with TruTravels! Seyha, you are a legend!

Seyha was the most incredible guide. He went above and beyond for everybody and made every day and night so much fun. He was always available to help out with anything you needed and was constantly checking in on everyone. As a vegetarian, Seyha made finding places and food to eat so easy and always made sure there was something available. As well as all this, he was the BEST photographer, capturing every moment. There was never a dull moment with Seyha around and I’ll never forget his talented singing voice!! Seyha made sure that he got to know every person individually on the tour, got everyone involved, had us all constantly laughing, gave the best help and advice and always made sure everyone was happy with the plan of the day. The itinerary for the tour meant we were able to see so many incredible places in Vietnam as well as being given lots of opportunities for free time. Thank you so much Seyha for making this the best tour possible and exceeding my expectations! I won’t hesitate to book another!

My personal highlight was the Angkor wat sunrise in Siem Reap, a mind blowing experience all in all. I have also enjoyed the other activities with other travelers at all the places we visited especially at Mad Monkey Koh Rong Saloem. A brilliant trip of a beautiful country with the best tour guide ever.

The trip was very well organized of the transport and hostels were good quality more luxurious than excepted. The itinerary was pretty good and you do a lot in the 11 days. There is a great mix of cultures, history, temples, S21 Prison, Killing Fields and other activities, water park, going out, jungle trek. It is very good how everything paid for in advance, except for the Tuk Tuk taxi were not paid for (which was the only annoying things). I would say this trip suite people who like to party as the hotels(Mad Monkey) us very party one-field, whose is great! If you are into that, but not people who am I travel with, as much as Cambodia is a stunning country with a lot of friendly people. They are very reliable, so don’t worry about transport is coming late. Overall I would recommend this trip if you want something different with lords mixed of parties, tradition and cultures.

The tour guide in Siem Reap that showed us around Angkor Wat was very funny and incredibly informative. I think his name was Choun D. He made a very great day out even better. Seyha, our group leader, was always very friendly, funny and talkative, making my whole experience much more pleasurable. All the accommodation in which we stayed in was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. I was particularly worried about accommodation coming into the trip however I was pleasantly surprised. I would happily recommend other people to come and visit Cambodia, especially with this tour. Thank you TruTravels !

Seyha was a wonderful group leader who knew everything we needed and was organized and provided transport, was reliable and on-time, despite the bumpy roads. I really enjoyed learning more about the history of Cambodia, and was surprised how beautiful the islands were when we got to Koh Rong Samloen. I've loved every day with this group, it's only a shame we missed out on the jungle trek and some of the waterfalls because of the time of year we travelled. Cambodia is very different to any of the other places I have travelled in South East Asia, so I have enjoyed being immersed in the culture here and experiencing somewhere new with Seyha and the group! Nice one brotherrr!

Seyha was incredibly friendly to all members of the tour, keeping a distinct ambiance of energy and vibrance. He ensured that everyone was well equipped for the day and ready to participate. The accommodation was very enjoyable and comfortable. Mad Monkey conducted a myriad of activities for the guests to interact and socialise with other travellers if possible, bedding would be the biggest suggestion to improve, at most of the hostels. The itinerary was well catered to travellers of ranged interests - allowing most activities to be optional or additional. Overall, the Cambodia Explorer tour was immensely enjoyable, amplified by Seyha's compassion, dedication and engaging personality.

Any issue with accommodation such as not like other members or issues with water etc he would sort it out right away. It is a very hot country and therefore buses are very hot however after early issues with air-con Seyha got vans so cold I wanted a jumper. Loved every moment of the itinerary and covered all aspects of Cambodia with us able to mingle with other backpackers in hotels. Seyha is the life of the party and going to miss him!

First arriving in Cambodia I was very overwhelmed with the culture shock of a 3rd world country but my tour guide made me feel completely safe at all times on the tour and I feel I have a good understanding of local knowledge of why areas are more/less underdeveloped or people behave in certain ways and why TruTravels have picked the areas we went to. It was super great to have a guide so passionate about Cambodia and caring of the maintenance of it and understanding on global effects on the planet. I found being a tourist with a lot of travel days + basic local knowledge before arriving really really good and an itinerary packed with a wide range of things to do. Seyha made sure no matter the group decision that night (drinking or chilling or exploring) we all had a voice and we all had fun together. I especially liked that he put us in rooms with multiple different people on the tour because this made everyone jel as one group. My favourite part of the trip were the itinerary because all the days were very well organised and I saw so much in a short space of time but also relaxed. On free days Seyha also made sure he gave us options to explore with us if we wanted his guidance individually! I really liked staying at Mad Monkey as I felt still involved in the backpacker vibe & Seyha made sure everyone was always confortable and having an amazing time! At first we were very worried when we seen the age group of our team mates ranging from 18 to 27, with us being 60 we thought we had made a mistake. After our first night with our wonderful guide Seyh…At first we were very worried when we seen the age group of our team mates ranging from 18 to 27, with us being 60 we thought we had made a mistake. After our first night with our wonderful guide Seyha and our beautiful group of young Travellers we had an amazing holiday, feeling very welcomed and part of the group, it was something we would never have adventured into but so happy we did, we met some very respectful, fun loving people who taught us a little about life and Travelling. It takes a special guide to work with such a diverse group of Travellers and no one could do it as good as Seyha, he was fun, respectful and knew how to cater for everyone's needs . Don't let your age stop you from seeing the best in our young people, they may show us all a thing or too, holidays don't always have to be that 5 star trip, some of these backpackers accommodation are quite nice , so get out of your comfort zones and try something different. Don't forget to take lots of snacks from home for the long trips between cities, these kids appreciate it and have been away from home Travelling for months at a time, a little mothering is always appreciated and loved as they sometimes travel on a tight budget, show the love and they show it back, It made us feel needed and nurturing parents. Overall the experience has been really good! I will be recommending it to my brother who wants to visit Cambodia himself. I really loved the river cruise in Kampot and the tour around the genocide museum & killing fields as I found it very interesting. Overall it was a brilliant tour I was surprised how many activities/tickets/entrance fees were included within the trip. Would definitely recommend. Thank you! :)

It was brilliant to see so many different areas of Cambodia and have the opportunity to do so many activities. One of my favorite activities was visiting Angkor Wat, but I also found learning about the killing fields and S21 prison very interesting. Most of my favorite memories have ben spending time and having fun with the group and Seyha - we always had such a laugh! Seyha was a brilliant group leader, he made every single day on the tour fun. He always went out of his way to look after us and he gave us so much interesting information. No matter what, he always puts a smile on your face and makes you laugh. Any group would be so lucky to have him as their leader.

Our group had 8 people and I think that was a good number for a group. I really enjoyed Angkor Wat in Siem Reap and S21 and the Killing Fields in Phnom Penh. It was amazing to get a sense of the culture & history! Could've stayed longer in Siem Reap, I really enjoyed going around the markets there! I also thought that Koh Rong island was breathtaking, just feel the accomodation could be a bit better. All the nights out were fun as well! Our tour guide, Seyha, was amazing. It would not have been the same without him. He made it very special! He is very enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly! One thing I would change is maybe re-evaluating Sihanoukville as a location - especially during the rainy season.

My favorite moments were exploring Angkor Wat and the first night out with the group in Siem Reap! Even on days where we unfortunately couldn't do what was planned, Seyha still put 1000% in and always made it fun. I hope to keep in contact with this dude and to see him in the future, hopefully in liverpool!

Everything was very comfortable and easy and the itinerary even adapted to the weather. My favorite part of the trip was Aracadia Waterpark in Kampot. All of it was amazing! On our second night in Phnom Penh, we went on a optional boatt trip down the river, where we sang karaoke and got to know each other even better! We all loved and would recommend adding it as a permanent part of the itinerary! Seyha made this trip so much more fun and exciting, and he was really informative. He made sure we were all comfortable and happy all the time. He made this trip so special and unforgettable!

loved cambodia and the tour was a great way to see it. Good variety in locations and good value for money - although more included meals would have been good.
