Starting in the rural outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, we rode along quiet back roads and scenic tracks through lush farmlands. The route was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to experience the authentic countryside and interact with locals along the way, which made the journey even more meaningful. Over three days, we cycled from the outskirts of Saigon toward the Mekong region, continued to Can Tho, and finally reached the charming port city of Chau Doc. Each leg of the trip offered unique landscapes and cultural encounters that we’ll never forget. A special mention goes to our awesome guide, Leo. He was punctual, informative, energetic, patient, and extremely accommodating. His passion for his work and enthusiasm for sharing Vietnam’s culture were evident throughout the tour. Leo shared fascinating stories about the people of Vietnam and his own family, reflecting the country’s strong values of hard work and respect for family. His humor and excellent English skills made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband and I are really pleased we chose this tour. Tung, our guide, & Nhan , our driver, made sure that they did everything they could so that we would have an amazing time & that all or needs were met. The riding itself was mostly very do-able; we cruised around quieter streets in villages, & I believe we got to see parts of Vietnam that most tourists don’t get to experience. We did have one day of more demanding terrain, & Tung remedied that by changing the geared bike to an electric bike just for the hardest leg of the ride - what a luxury! The weather was very hot but we stopped every 15ks for fruit & a drink so there was no chance of feeling sick, & the offer of the air-conditioned van was always there! We had an absolutely great time & the tour certainly allowed us to create memories in a country we had never experienced while doing something we love! I
