- Days 1-3
Seoul
Get to Seoul a day early to adjust to the time zone and beat jet lag. Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace before 8:30 AM to avoid crowds. "The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony was spectacular, but bring a hat - there's little shade in the palace grounds." You can spend your afternoons at Bukchon Hanok Village when the light is perfect for photos. For the DMZ tour book in advance and have your passport ready. Tours usually leave Seoul at 7:30 AM. A visitor noted: "Our North Korean defector talk was incredibly moving. The tunnels are narrow though - skip if you're claustrophobic."

- Days 4-5
Gyeongju
Take the KTX train from Seoul Station to Gyeongju (2.5 hours). Rent a bike near the station to explore the ancient tombs and Cheomseongdae Observatory. Sleep in a traditional hanok guesthouse but expect firm floor mattresses. Join the morning meditation at Golgulsa Temple at 4:30 AM. A recent guest noted: "Bring warm layers for temple stay - the rooms aren't heated and mountain nights get cold."

- Days 6-7
Busan
The train to Busan takes 45 minutes. Visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple before 10 AM to beat the crowds. Be ready for steep hills at Gamcheon Culture Village. A traveler suggests: "Take the village shuttle bus up and walk down - your knees will thank you. And don't miss the sunset cruise from Haeundae Beach."

Start your palace visit at Gyeongbokgung early at 8:30 AM before the crowds arrive. Walk through Bukchon Hanok Village afterward. What people love about 10-day South Korea tours
- 10-Day Premium South Korea Adventure: Culture, Cuisine, and Coastlines
This tour was an excellent way to see the highlights in South Korea. We had a nice small group (as far as group tours go, with only 16 guests) and one of the best tour leaders we have ever had in Genie Nam. We did some really great experiences that we would never have done on our own. It’s alway excellent not having to think about where to stay or how to get there. I would highly recommend this tour if you haven’t been to South Korea as it definitely introduces you to the country. BTW - South Korea is amazingly safe, organized and friendly.

Traveling is better with company. And this tour proved it very much so. I loved this experience. With a group of approximately 20 people within the same age range, where everyone has the same goal, exploring Korea couldn´t be better. I feel like I´ve seen so much of Korea in these 10 days, and I booked a few days extra to do cross some personal goals from my to do list. The activities were nicely balanced. From temples and learning about the culture, to super tasty food. From the calmth of a stay at a buddhist temple, to exploring the heart of the busy side of Seoul. It was my first group tour ever, and I would certainly do another one. Everyone was extremely kind and open to help where needed.

A very good tour that I would highly recommend. But, it could be better. We loved the various destinations and generally had ample time to take everything in. Our bus was fine and the driver was excellent. A good driver and helpful with luggage. The hotels were good, but food wax an issue. Restaurants were closed so twice we had to go out and find a suitable restaurant. MacDonalds. Twice we found a 7-11 type shops and bought food and took it back tour room. Our guide was a good bloke, but his English was just OK. Given those issues, it was a terrific tour and gave us a good insight to this fabulous country.
