2-Week Italy and Switzerland Tour Packages
Two weeks in Italy and Switzerland? You’ll see so much, including the lakes region, the Alps, maybe Venice or Milan. Head to Como and Maggiore, the Swiss Alps around Interlaken or Zermatt, and the Italian Dolomites. Trains connect everything easily, and the scenery is ridiculous on both sides. The Italian side has food and lakes, the Swiss side has mountains and chocolate. They’re both amazing; which do you prefer?

14 Day Western Europe Itinerary, incl. London and Rome
An 8-day celebration of Italian-Swiss cities includes Lucerne's Chapel Bridge, Venice's St. Mark's Basilica, and Florence's Duomo. Luxuriate at Radisson Blu Switzerland and Leonardo Royal Venice.

- Days 1-3
London
Land around midday to better handle jet lag. Take the Underground from Heathrow to central London - it's about 45 minutes. Start your first full day at Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. One traveler shared: "Westminster Abbey and Tower of London are less crowded first thing in the morning - we got there at opening and had much better photo opportunities." On day 2, visit Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. Book your Tower of London entry time in advance to skip the longest lines.

- Days 4-5
Paris
The morning Eurostar from St. Pancras gets you to Paris in 2.5 hours. Pick seats on the upper deck for the best views. Spend your first afternoon in Montmartre. It's more authentic than the Champs-Élysées and perfect for watching local life unfold. For dinner cruises on the Seine, the 7:30 PM summer sailing lets you see the city in both daylight and sunset. Consider staying in the Marais area for good Metro connections.

- Days 6-7
Swiss Alps
Take the TGV to Basel (3 hours), then connect to Andermatt (2.5 hours by rail). This charming town works well as your Swiss base. Take a day trip to Lucerne on the scenic railway. A recent visitor noted: "The covered Chapel Bridge is magical early morning before tour groups arrive." Visit Mount Pilatus in the morning since clouds often block the view later in the day.

- Days 8-9
Venice Region
The train ride through the Alps to Italy offers beautiful mountain scenery. Stay in Mestre on the mainland instead of Venice proper. It's better value and just 15 minutes by bus to Venice. Start your Murano visit early to catch the glass-blowing shows. Get a vaporetto day pass for unlimited water bus rides instead of single tickets.

- Days 10-11
Florence
Take the train through Tuscany to Florence. Book a hotel near Santa Croce to walk easily to main attractions. Visit the Duomo before 9 AM or after 4 PM to avoid peak crowds. A smart tip from a traveler: "Book Uffizi tickets online at least 2 days ahead - the walk-up queue can be 2+ hours long in peak season."

- Days 12-14
Rome
The high-speed train from Florence takes 1.5 hours. Book the 8 AM entry at Vatican Museums to see the Sistine Chapel before the crowds pour in. Try local restaurants in Trastevere. As one visitor said: "We loved getting lost in the little streets around Campo de' Fiori in the evening when locals come out for passeggiata."

13 Days in the Alps, incl. Munich and Zurich
Alpine wonders await from the UNESCO Dolomites to car-free Zermatt. The route encompasses Lake Carezza, St. Moritz, and scenic rail journeys aboard the Bernina Express and Glacier Express.

- Days 1-2
Munich & Bavarian Alps
- Days 3-4
Dolomites & South Tyrol
Drive 3 hours through Austrian Tyrol into Italy's Dolomites. Stop at Novacella Abbey and explore Brunico's unique mix of Alpine and Mediterranean culture. Head to Cortina d'Ampezzo, where the 1956 Winter Olympics took place. Next day, drive the Falzarego and Pordoi passes to Lake Carezza. Visit early to see the best light on the green waters.

- Days 5-7
St. Moritz & Bernina Express
Enter Switzerland's Engadine Valley to reach St. Moritz. A previous guest noted: "The hotel in St. Moritz was excellent - get a room facing the lake for incredible mountain views." Take a day to explore or hike. Take the Bernina Express train to Tirano, Italy. Sit on the right side to see the best views of glaciers and mountains.

- Days 8-9
Italian Lakes & Alps
- Days 10-11
Zermatt & Glacier Express
- Days 12-13
Lucerne & Zurich
See Lucerne and cross Brünig Pass to Interlaken. Take photos of the Jungfrau mountains. Visit Bern before reaching Zurich. Summer traffic in Zurich gets busy, so plan extra time for departure.
14-Day Tour: Paris, Zurich, Milan & Florence Discovery
Train travel connects Zurich, Milan, and Florence across 14 days. A cogwheel train climbs Mount Rigi to 1,797 meters, then cruise Lake of the Four Cantons before heading to Grindelwald where Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks tower overhead. Later, a private boat takes you to Bellagio on Lake Como.

What people love about 2-week Italy and Switzerland tours
- Alpine Adventure, Bernina & Glacier Express
Tour was fantastic, hotels with name B&B HOTELS were disgusting, hotel wasn't 3 star maybe 1, service was terrible. I didn't shower at these hotels due to shower issues. Once we moved on tour became lovely. Never inform a guest that they cannot cancel an outing if they say they weren't feeling well. Money wasn't the issue, it was the fact tour guide pushed the situation until I lost patience with her. As far as tipping goes, I have always understood tipping is and always will be on performance. Not to be forced into what you think I should tip. Do your job and get paid by your Company, tips are extra for a job well done not just half assed. Suggestions are fine .
- Harmonious Europe
This was such a great and incredible experience. We had three different guides throughout our trip, Lucas, Sylvia, and Gabby. They were also incredible and thoughtful and informative. Overall, the trip was life-changing and was one of the best experiences that we have ever had!
- Amsterdam, Paris, Swiss and Italy Trip
We had great time; the trips were well planned by Wise Yatra. Thank you
