Take a walk on the South West Coast Path between Charlestown and Fowey for beautiful ocean views. Bring extra layers since the sea breeze can get cold even in summer. Stop in fishing villages like Mevagissey to try the local fish and chips.

Drive through the Lake District and stop in Grasmere village. When you get to Liverpool, explore the Albert Dock area. "The Cavern Club is actually a recreation - the original was demolished. Visit the Beatles Story Museum instead for better musical history."
- Day 7
Wales
Travel through Shropshire and stop at medieval Ludlow before entering Wales. Visit Tintern Abbey early for the best morning photos. Plan 2-3 hours for Cardiff Castle to see everything, including its Victorian apartments.
- Day 8
Bath & Stonehenge
Get to the Roman Baths early to beat the crowds. Visit Stonehenge later in the day when it's quieter. "The new visitor center is a 20-minute walk from the stones - wear comfortable shoes and bring a rain jacket as the path is exposed."
