Did a trip to Munich, Switzerland, Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam with Ryan - he knew what to do in each place, he knew how to get to each site in the cities and was a great laugh haha. On top of all of this our tour guide Ryan made the whole experience above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. His knowledge, passion, humor and care for us (and not to mention his partying skills) made this trip so memorable for every single one of us. Could not recommend or thank him enough for how great the last week and a bit has been!

He is very knowledgeable and always made sure we were well informed about the places we were visiting. He also made sure everyone had a good time which is difficult with a group our size. All in all, amazing trip and I would highly recommend it.

Following my 16 days on this tour, need…Having done my first tour around Spain with another company a few years back (and having the time of my life), I was curious to know how this one would compare. Following my 16 days on this tour, needless to say it was an absolutely incredible experience and surpassed all of my expectations.
As a country, Vietnam is a must-see. The tour had a great balance of everything, from amazing food, to beautiful sights, to raw local experiences in smaller towns, to fun nights out, and non-stop laughs and good times in between. My highlights were the Mud Cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang and Mr Rot’s Eco Tour in Dalat. Both were additional optionals that came at an extra cost (former around 75 USD and latter around 30-45 USD), but were definitely worth it! The group had 15 people and quickly became a family of sorts during our two weeks together. This definitely factored into how enjoyable my time in Vietnam was.
Finally, our tour guide Ryan was top-notch. He was extremely knowledgeable about the country as a whole and its many different areas. Although our group got along well, we were definitely a diverse bunch, but Ryan was very flexible and readily able to tailor suggestions/tips to individual preferences/personalities. On bus rides and nights out, he was fully engaged with the group and had many fun “games” to keep us endlessly entertained and laughing our guts out.
What an adventure! Can’t wait for what’s in store next.

Nevertheless, he was patient with us and made we got what we needed. Overall I felt the itnerary was excellent, but the local guides quite weak. Their English was poor and difficult to understand, and they didn't give much information. Ryan did his best to fill in, and fortunately he is well-read.

I was very disappointed by the things we didn't get to see and do in Phnom Penh - such as visit the castle, markets etc.... in each new city / town the agenda was simply to eat and drink, which was rather disappointing as pubs and restaurants can be found anywhere in the world - and one would've hoped to see something a bit more unique to that county / town / culture having sat on a bus for so many hours to get there.

Ryan was an absolute star - I cannot stress this enough! So easy to talk to, get along with and have fun with. He had all the answers to our questions before we even had the chance to ask. An absolute laugh, a riot, super resilient with some of the more difficult tour members but overall such a great time! He’s incredible at his job and needs more time touring Greece and it’s islands so he can beat me at the 10 shot challenge next time I see him!!

The group really gelled and got along and I would attribute a lot of that to how Ryan brought together 16 random people and allowed them all to become friends.

Ryan Tarscas was an incredible guide, with lots of knowledge of the destination that he always shared in such a quirky and fun way, his story telling is brilliant, enough to keep us asking for more.
His quizzes are world renown and the games he plays kept us laughing for hours.
He is very capable of looking after big groups and he always was one step ahead, if there was a hiccup we were none the wiser.
He mingled with everyone in the group and knew us all by name within the first day or so.
He has a good sense of humour and was the first to be at the breakfast table and the last to leave at night.
Would look to do more tours with him in the future.

The timing of the tour was perfect for me as it gave me a taste for the four different islands. For the group environment that it was, I think two nights on each island was the right amount of time. I can see myself returning to Greece and spending more time on certain islands, but that would be a very different type of holiday instead of a tour group.
The absolute highlight of the trip would have to be the boat day in Paros. We got to swim in crystal clear water and jump off rocks/cliffs/the boat, as well as enjoying a delicious bbq lunch.
After lunch we all got a bit rowdy and had an awesome time.
The accommodation wasn't too bad. The only accommodation I really didn't enjoy was in Santorini. The rooms were quite hot and the wifi was shocking - don't even bother!
The other drainer was in Mykonos you had to pay for wifi - such a rip off, but of course I paid as it is a necessity.
My favourite accommodation was in Ios. The pool was beautiful and the beach was just across the road!
I loved the clubs in Ios. My favourite was definitely "Shush" (the silent disco). Ryan knew how much we enjoyed it so, once the planned pub crawl was over, he took us back there so we could enjoy it even more!

The greek islands fix itinerary was great and included a few activities. But Ryan added a few extra stops to ensure we had the full Greek historical experience.
I would highly recommend this tour and if you get a chance ask for Ryan as you won't be disappointed.

Having the flexibility was great and we also took the opportunities to do the recommended activities as well. The biggest positive for me was that Busabout chooses accomodation (fixed travellers) that is in the best location. Staying at Paradise beach club and Far Out beach club was amazing. Same goes for accomdation in Santorini, considering how expensive Santorini is, I thought we would be staying very far away from the main part of Santorini.
Organision was great!
Ryan and Ben were awesome! Busabout should be so appreciative of such amazing staff. They were always making sure everyone was having a good time and they were constantly interacting with every single person on the tour.

The trip offered a nice blend between experiencing the culture and beauty of the islands, as well as partying at night. If seeing the Ancient Greek culture is important to your trip I highly recommend doing the alternative options such as going to akatiri and Delos, if not you will miss out on much of the Greek culture. If lounging on the beach is more your thing there are many beautiful beaches on these islands. The tour guides were very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. There was never a dull moment when they were around. The individual experience for this trip is up to you, if you want to party in night and relax on the beautiful beaches in the day this is trip for you. if you would like to see more of the Greek/ancient Greek culture, the trip might feel slightly limited at times- but for me it still provided a good mix of both!

I recently completed a Busabout tour of the Greek Islands which covered Athens, Mykonos, Paros, Santorini and Ios. I had never been to Greece before prior to this. I opted to go ‘Flexi’ which means that I was able to choose to stay longer at certain islands – which was fantastic as I wanted to spend more time relaxing in Paros and then partying myself to breaking point on Ios (I strongly recommend spending four night on Ios).
Flex also allowed by to book my own accommodation, which I did in Paros (Siroco's Rooms And Studios) and Ios (Francesco's - which is in Ios town).
As a outcome of having a flexible itinerary, my tour group and guides changed twice during my tour. In total I was part of two groups, and with four different tour guides (two in each).
Nadia and Megan were my starting guides, taking me from Athens to Mykonos to Paros - They were outstanding in their organisation. A week or so before I had even arrived in the country I knew what the plan was. During the tour they were knowledgeable of the local history, customs and went out of their way to answer any of our questions, as well as get the tour group out to be social.
After this, I hopped to Santorini and joined Ben and Ryan’s group. These guys, if they weren’t a comedy duo - they should be. Upon joining the new group they went out of their way to introduce me to all my new travel companions. Like Nadia and Megan, everyone was well informed of the itinerary - and Ben and Ryan provided ample opportunities to party at night, especially on Ios.
Overall, my Busabout experience was fantastic thanks to the work of Naida, Megan, Ryan and Ben. I would highly recommend to anybody wants to explore Athens and the Greek Islands. Everyone else in the tour group had a blast, and I was just one of those.

Considering the amount i paid, hostels were awful and nothing was included other than one gyros and a handful of bus rides. Ferries are considerably cheap as well. If i was going to go to greek islands again i would not do it with bus about.
