Croatia is the one country I was looking forwarding to visiting the most during this time of travelling and getting on board with this horizon sail was the best decision I’d ever made. The crew staff …Croatia is the one country I was looking forwarding to visiting the most during this time of travelling and getting on board with this horizon sail was the best decision I’d ever made. The crew staff were so beautifully welcoming and made me feel right at home throughout the whole trip especially with my dietary requirements that Ollie went out of his way to make sure it was accommodated to as well as the beautiful chef. Every island was breathtaking and Ollie was so informative that navigating through each port when we docked was seamless, so thank you oll! This trip was the perfect balance of socialising and relaxing. Perfect for all ages! Miss everyone already and thank you for that incredible week.

The ports we stopped in were gorgeous and the swim spots idyllic.
Olly gave us a lot of information about each stop and often made reservations at bars and restaurants, to meet him if we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble.
Food was plentiful.
The cabins are single bunk beds and there were shared toilet/bathroom facilities.
I would highly recommend this trip to those who want a relaxed but fun tour of the Croatian islands.

Spent the week with my family of 4 adults on this tour with Ollie as our guide. There were a total of 18 guests and we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by the Horizon team, including the b…Spent the week with my family of 4 adults on this tour with Ollie as our guide. There were a total of 18 guests and we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by the Horizon team, including the boat crew. Our guide went above and beyond normal expectations to assist in every conceivable manner and to ensure everyone was having a great time. Nothing was too difficult. Ollie kept us well informed throughout each day. The itinerary is well paced and finds the right balance between visiting more hectic locations to the more serene - but all were beautiful islands and towns. It is not a party boat but there is plenty of time to socialise at the planned stops along the way, at restaurants, bars and clubs. This tour ticks all the boxes. For a more comfortable experience, if you have the funds, the deluxe boat would be in order, but you really don’t spend too much time in the small cabins other than to sleep so it wasn’t an issue for us. Highly recommend.

Ollie was our guide and was knowledgeable, funny and perfect to look after the 22 passengers on board.
The balance of the busier stops of Hvar and Dubrovnik against the much quieter but equally stunning Sipan and Mijet made for a perfect week.
5 Star food, 5 Star guide and 5 Star towns and cities.

The crew, staff, accommodation and food was all exceptional and made the week fantastic. But, what made the week unforgettable was the itinery and fellow travellers. The design of this trip to see more of the hidden gems of Croatia, whilst still experiencing the major nightlife towns, was perfect, by far the best itinery of any boat currently operating in Croatia. I could not recommend this trip more highly and would go as far as to say you would be guaranteed one of the best weeks of your life on any Horizon Sail boat. Trust me, don't miss out on this!

It’s an early start from Split to catch the coach but worth it as there is a lot to pack in and a super comfortable bed for the overnight stay. Our guide, Ollie, was great. He was clear in our timings at each stop and gave the option of following him or doing our own thing within the time allotted. He gave a talk whilst on the bus about the history of Croatia, taking us through it knowledgeably and with some funny stories thrown in. He clearly loves and respects Croatia and her people which hopefully rubs of on the people on his tours.

He was very attentive & always made sure that everyone on the bus was well taken care of and explained things thoroughly so we didn’t get lost (which my friends and I would have done). He had some decent jokes & kept us entertained during the journey.
On top of that, a good looking rooster as a tour guide never makes for a bad trip.

We had some unfortunate weather early in the tour which cannot be helped and it was handled very well by the crew and guide. While the cabins could be improved by adding fans for added comfort and much needed relief from the heat, the accomodation was pleasant. The crew were all extremely helpful serving quality meals and excellent bar service onboard. The opportunity for swim stops is such an amazing experience. Our guide Oli was extremely knowledgeable and well researched in Croatia’s long and extensive history, he also showed great respect for Croatia as a place and for its people. Oli also had a many a great ideas for activities to do on land that would give his passengers insight into Croatian culture! Plus he was a very friendly and approachable guide to all his passengers but also able to take control when needed.

Great knowledge of the history and the top places to see and visit. He has a great relationship with the locals everywhere we visited which only serves to enhance the adventure he takes you on.
Ollie genuinely makes u feel like he’s not just there for a job but for a true love for what he does.
Ollie honestly brings the fun and gets everyone charged for some epic times. Everyone I’ve spoken to just wants to do it again and I’m no exception. So jealous of what he does but so happy to have met this man and have him introduce me to Croatia and it’s beautiful landscapes of all the surrounding little islands.

As soon as we got on the boat he was incredibly friendly & made us all feel so welcome! He made the effort to get to know all 30 of us which was amazing to see! Ollie took us to all the best clubs & bars when we got to every island but I would like to mention the hike to which he took us on was the hardest thing I have HAD to do but the view in the castle WAS so worth it! My amazing sail experience would have to be down to the crew of the Nikola boat & Ollie!
Can’t wait to do it again!

What can I say this part of my trip was the one I was most unsure about being a lone female travel over 30. Now it’s done it has completely exceeded my expectations 10 fold. The group were bloody lege…What can I say this part of my trip was the one I was most unsure about being a lone female travel over 30. Now it’s done it has completely exceeded my expectations 10 fold. The group were bloody legends!! The crew were top notch in all aspects - cooking, cleaning, safely getting us from A to B, an all round fun and awesome crew. But most of all our guide Oli did an awesome job at keeping us as close to schedule without ever feeling resistricted with time. He made me feel safe and not forgotten when I came down with a 24 hour bug. When we were out he always made sure everyone was having a fanbloodytastic time. He was always looking out for everyone even though it definitely isn’t in his job description as we are all adults and are always responsible for our own actions especially when travelling in a foreign country. His knowledge of Croatia’s Dalmatian coast history totally blew me away at story time, not a dull moment listening to the timeline of the starting of the Roman Empire to political unrest and current headlines. Honestly, if you get The IKA crew and Oli as your guide it will definitely be a trip you will remember. Love, love, loved it!!!

Ollie was super knowledgeable about the islands we were visiting, giving excellent recommendations for activities, bars, clubs and the best swim spots. It was also very nice to have a guide that you could tell has a genuine love for the country and is so enthusiastic about sharing it and its history with you. His knowledge of the history of Croatia and it’s surrounding countries is amazing and added an extra depth to the trip I wasn’t expecting.
On top of this, Ollie is just an overall good Aussie bloke who cares for every single one of his passengers and goes above and beyond to make your time amazing but also just to be your friend!!

I was really nervous to begin with, but was soon put at ease with my amazing tour guide Oliver!
He went to the effort to ensure everyone on board had an amazing time, and individually checked in with each guest every day to ensure they were satisfied. He went that extra mile, and kept everyone included in all daily activities ensuring they were having the best time possible.
His communication and organisation skills were impressive, with detailed planning of what the trip would entail daily, as well as providing us with additional options throughout our journey.
Our safety was optimum priority, and with his support continuously felt reassured when exploring unfamiliar the islands throughout croatia.
Oliver had a vast amount of knowledge. He successfully educated our tour group with interesting and factual information of the history of Croatia. He was always more than happy to spend time answering any questions we had in detail. I couldn’t recommend Oliver enough as a tour guide. He is extremely hard working, and had nothing but time for all on board, with the ability to consider everyones individual needs throughout the trip. Oliver made the trip one to remember and because of him I will definitely book again, thank you for an amazing trip!

This trip was excellent start to finish. From jumping on the boat and being greeted by Oli and the kind boat staff who helped with our (ridiculously) large suitcases and showed us to our rooms. Every meal served went above and beyond my expectations, the boat staff were lovely and the boat itself was in pristine condition obviously loved and cared for by aforementioned staff. A tour guide makes or breaks a holiday and wow what a holiday it was. From the get go Oli was so professional but still got to know everyone individually and knew names by the middle of day 1!!! The way he shared his knowledge of Croatia was invigorating; leaving everyone wanting to know more of the history and happenings the country had endured.
He has such a positive spirit no matter what is thrown his way; be it multiple hospital trips or illness, it was contagious and his ability to get everyone involved was fantastic, no man was left behind!
The obvious passion shown by Oli and the boat crew was one I will never forgot and will continue to recommend this trip to each and everyone considering (and those not) travelling to Croatia. I know the friends I made on this trip will be life long thanks to Oli and his ability of making everyone feel so comfortable with one another and for just being an absolutely wonderful person in general.

The trip was an absolute experience and a half. I made some incredible friends and saw some pretty damn awesome things. The time we had in each place was just right, allowing us to…Where do I begin?!
The trip was an absolute experience and a half. I made some incredible friends and saw some pretty damn awesome things. The time we had in each place was just right, allowing us to explore as we wished, soak up the culture, the atmosphere and most importantly the food and alcohol.
Each place we visited had so much to offer, and I felt as though the trip was run in a very organised manner. We didn't have any issues or they were dealt with pretty rapidly and efficiently.
The crew- absolute champions, Danny the barman was a legend, he knew his drinks and he knew how to make them lethal. Our captain was pretty chill and happy to accommodate changes to the itinerary. The unofficial crew and my shipmates were the best I could have hoped for, not only did all 26 of us manage to get along, we never left anyone out. You could happily wander off by yourself, and run into any number of the rest. Clubbing with these guys is probably one of the highlights of my trip.
The food, while initially I had hypernatremia, our guide spoke to the chef who managed to wrangle in his excessive seasoning of the food. But three course lunches and accommodating of allergies is nothing I'm complaining about
Finally our guide, Ollie. This man made the trip, not only did he look out for each and every one of us, but he took the time to get to know us. He would advise us of plans early and clarify anything we needed, always happy to make small changes to suit the group. He knew his stuff regarding the history of each place we went to, and how it all fit into the giant timeline. He managed to make it interesting without over-loading us with information. He could recommend places to go and things to do based on experience, and was never wrong with any of them. Always smiling and never angry, full of enthusiasm and energy, even at 7 am after finishing the previous night at 3am.
Would 10/10 do this trip again and have been recommending it to anyone who has asked where I've been.

Our group was incredible, we all bonded really well and were able to do activities as individuals, small groups or one big group. Whenever we went out partying, it was all together, no one was left out.
Our tour guide Ollie, really brought us all together and made sure we were enjoying our time. He was able to offer recommendations for places to go, things to do and places to eat. He was very knowledgeable about the places we went and the history of each destination, as well as how it all tied together.
The crew on our boat were very friendly and enthusiastic, shout out to our barman Danijel, such a champ!

Arrived back home and I cannot stop raving about my tour. The ship was great, the crew was phenomenal, the country was stunning and to cap it all off, our guide was the best. If you are lucky enough to sail the Adriatic with Ollie Stephens, he will do a great job of offering information and entertainment with an affable personality and a dose of humour. His Croatian history talk is very helpful and his adventurous spirit and friendly personality adds just that tiny bit more to truly take the tour from ordinary to extraordinary.

The Maja crew and Ollie were supreme. We really felt like family by the end of the trip. The only downside was our food, but we still soldiered on & didn't let that ruin our experience. As the boat was small, it was quite difficult to move in and out of our cabins- esp when you sleep on the top bunk. However, overall, I think this trip was definitely the highlight of my holiday! We def made some life long friendships and will happily do this again. I wish Ollie and crew the best of everything and safe journeys ahead with the new groups.

The cabins were tiny but not unbearable. Unfortunately the food let us down, but it wasn't the be all and end all. Being a smaller boat, it was definitely more cosy & allowed us to get acquainced with everyone quicker. I really enjoyed the itinerary- esp happy hour on the boat. Haha

The tour leader Oli was knowledgeable and very likeable. He got along with everyone and didn’t leave anybody out. Oli made each place interesting and offered suggestions and recommendations based on experience.
There was a good mix of leisure time and activity time.
I enjoyed that our group got along well and not cliques formed, we were able to set it off at the bars even with just our little group.

I booked last min and Ellie who wasn’t even going to be my tour guide kept in contact, helped me navigate my way from Greece to Croatia and got my tour guide Ollie to meet me at the boat. Ollie was a legend, he was able to pull rank when needed to ensure everyone was safe but have a great time and get the vibes back up when we were all exhausted. He was thoughtful and a barrel of laughs, good value and this made for an unforgettable trip. Top work to Busabout, would tour with them every time

The travel itinerary stopped at the best places and the scenery was breathtaking the whole way through. Our tour guide Ollie was a living legend, he handled having the loosest boat really well, and every speed bump thrown at him was dealt with promptly and professionally. Ollie has found the perfect balance between being your best mate but also super on the job while on tour which put me at ease knowing we were in safe hands. Legitimately cannot speak higher of the week or Ollie, definitely a trip for the history books ✌

Went out of his way to make sure we were all making the most out of the experience and having the best time possible every day and night, down to …OLLIE IS THE BEST HE NEEDS TO BE GUIDE OF THE YEAR!!! Went out of his way to make sure we were all making the most out of the experience and having the best time possible every day and night, down to the little things like if someone got their meal any more than 5 minutes after everyone else he would buy them a shot and would never eat until the last person was eating. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Croatian history and culture and made all of his talks interesting for us to enjoy. We all felt comfortable everywhere we went, knowing exactly where things were as well as feeling safe in our surroundings. He was so friendly to every single person and took the time each day to have a conversation with everyone. He was also quite sick with a chest infection most of the week but never once complained about it and was still keen on a big night and was the last one out making sure everyone was having a good time and getting home safe whilst having a good old time himself. No idea how he backs it up every day and functions so well but it's bloody impressive! I've done a sail before with busabout and the tour guide was a solid 9.5 out of 10 and set the bar pretty high but Ollie managed to beat that! Had the best week of my life even though most of the passengers were a lot quieter than my last tour and didn't party as much, the few of us that were keen for a good time definitely made the most of it!

(smartest decision we made) We stayed on the CASANOVA and it was the most amazing boat. The food for lunch was exceptional! It was like eating at a 5 start restaurant everyday.
Ollie our tour guide was a rock star! He was fun and really became apart of our sailing family. He was knowledgable and could give you facts and details bout the places we were going to but he also knew how to party and party we did!
The trip was an amazing experience with memories and new friendships to match and I highly recommend anyone thinking about doing this trip to just do it!

Spacious. What more could you want. Our tour guide Olly went above and beyond to make our trip the best it could possibly be. He would make sure everyone had their meals before eating his own. Go out of his way to help you with directions and places to go and see to get the most out of each town. He knew how to get the party started and would get everyone on the boat involved. Outgoing fun guide! No complaints.
Now for the food! It was delicious I am a fussy eater and I loved the meals. Such a wide variety, fish, meat, soup, salads, cold deserts and much more. It really was delicious!
I would reccomend this trip to family and friends and I will be doing it again!
Thank you to all the crew, cooks and Olly for making this a trip I won't forget.

We had a good balance of organized activities and freedom and I think we all had a blast!
The boat environment was very friendly and I think even when you are a solo traveller you can feel included in the group.

Horizon Sail really has a point of difference from other tour companies - it is not a 'party boat' and while everyone has a great time going out to dinner and enjoying a few drinks, the trip has been tailored so everyone can also enjoy the culture, sites and what Croatia has to offer.
