I worked as a clinical pharmacist for 6 years before I decided to put down the drugs, take a break and try something new. I made the switch to Topdeck trip leader and gosh I LOVE IT!!! Working for an organisation where people from all over the globe come to see Europe is one of the coolest things to be a part of. Building new friendships and seeing how travel can change people's lives - I'd say that's my favourite part.

It was the most relaxing holiday I had ever had. Just sit back, sunbathe and relax while the competent skippers bring you from one stop to the next. We were a group of 16 people on three boats. The boats were comfortable and in good condition. The tour was well organised with beautiful stops along the way. Sailing mostly takes place in the morning, leaving afternoon and evenings free for exploring the suroundings. Our guide Sarah made the week extra special with her contagious good humour and easy-going way. The tour definitely would not have been the same without her. I could go back sailing in Greece any time!

The trip was a camping one, which i really enjoyed as it made us feel like a little community. The only problem was the radiators by your feet on the bus, which made the bus a very warm and uncomfortable at times. However this was not the fault of the Tour team.

Everything was just so easy from pick ups and drop offs. daily itinerary’s that allow you the freedom to do what you want to do whilst giving you information on the location, tips and tricks, safety info, and ideas for what to do. Our topdeck leader sarah became one of us. She bonded with our group so well looked after us, listened to us, understood us, and helped us with problems big or small. Honestly, the trip wouldn’t have been the same without her. whenever I talk to my friends about topdeck there is nothing I can say that would fully encompass what we all shared on those magical 27 days other than- “you have to experience it for yourself”. as an added bonus the people I met on topdeck and I all still talk and have continued to travel with each other!

And I could never forget when she made my fiance and my engagement night extra special, with a cake to celebrate And the poem she wrote for our group on our last night. Also having kris the buss driver was so knowledge about euroup and the war and having the pleasure of spending the night in his home town with a personal tour, we were so lucky! The topdeck trip was so unreal and I have made friends for life because of it, And I couldn't recommend it more highly. Thanks so much for running such a great trip :)

The option activities were average. For Lauterbrunnen specifically, I wish there were more options, especially since it rained during our stay. The optional activities were rather expensive for that leg of the trip, but we made it work.
One thing I'd suggest is to clearly outline timing for everything prior to the trip. For example, it would've been helpful to know how long we'd need to travel in the coach (and which days), and how much time we'd have in each city. For example, I was a little disappointed by the amount of time the group had in Florence -- not even 24 hrs. I wish this was called out in the itinerary from the get-go, as I thought we'd have more time there.
Overall, this was a great travel experience! Our tour guide, Sarah, and our drivers, Dario and Marcian, were TOP NOTCH. They made this trip truly one of a kind!!!!

Her amazing sense of humor, positivity, vibrancy and kindness is what kept the tour fun and interesting. Must take an incredible soul to unite 48 people from all over the world in just 11 days right? Sarah made us all feel like family within a day. It's been one of the best vacations, all thanks to her. This trip definitely exceeded my expectations. Special shoutout to Sarah for being so clued up and knowledgeable about literally every place we've been to and for always giving us a language lesson each time we were in a new place. Sarah was the glue of all of our travel stories... I was so scared and basically a nervous wreck in the 6 months leading up to it. I had never been away for more then a weekend then I went on a 20 day tour. But sarah was an absolute gem. I had never felt so safe with someone. Every stupid question she answered and if she didn't know she still made an effort to find out for me. The places we visited were amazing and the knowledge she had of them was unbelievable I could not have asked for a better tour guide. Sarah made my first expirence leaving Australia one to remember and I am so thankful for everything she done for me. You may here that everyone has a great story about there tour guide but in the meeting of other tour guides when we crossed paths for a few nights I was so lucky to have gotten sarah they all sucked she was the bomb.

Taking my first tour out of my country alone I had no idea what to expect as well as coming in 2 days later in the tour, I had my fair share of worries "what if they're already created their cliques/groups", "will i even fit in with the group?", Sarah really helped with this, from playing ice breaker games to calling you over and personally initiating introductions which really helps when you're solo. Trip leaders or tour guides are an essential part of any trip, Sarah helped us navigate each new city we found ourselves in as well as had information on each city/country at times weird facts. None the less I enjoyed my Europe trip and a large part of that was because of Sarah, I would say the only downfall of having a trip leader such as Sarah is that for any trip I take in future my expectations are soo high, I'll be the guy on the bus telling the person sitting next to me "on my previous trip our tour leader would ... " .

Throughout the entire time spent with Sarah she made sure everyone was kept excited and enthused by delivering ALL her information in the most amazing FUNNY way that just kept EVERYONE listening and interested.. even hungover!! she always made sure she would direct us to the BEST Kebab shop to cure any hangover and all amazing food places that we could experience the country's cuisine. i felt incredibly blessed to have sarah as a Trip Leader, not only did sarah create the most incredible trip of my life but. but i can truthfully say i've walked away lucky enough to call Sarah my friend!! The 20 day European Getaway trip was amazing yes but would have been absolutely no comparison without Sarah as our guide.

Sarah was a fantastic guide with everything from getting us all to all of our activities on time, being super cheerful at awful times of the morning to things like stoppping the bus for a snowball fight because one member of the group had never seen snow. She also knows where to get amazing paninis. I even got to celebrate my birthday on the tour and Sarah organised one of the wildest, most amazing birthday parties I've ever had. Lots of stars.

Sarah Jasmine Labib. I can for sure tell you something about her. The morning we left London, she made sure to make everyone get warm welcome from her. Throughout the entire time spent on the bus, Sarah made sure to keep everyone excited with bits of history, tons of laughs, games, movies and probably one of the most seamless, perfect fitting playlist of music for every occasion. Sarah was great with recommending where to eat, where to go and where to have the best time, with whatever mood you were in! I was lucky enough to really connect with Sarah during the driving days and throughout the entire trip. The 20 day European Getaway trip would have been absolutely nothing without Sarah as our guide. I don't know what else I could say about Sarah, for people to truly understand how great she is at her job, but more importantly as a person. She is the friend everybody deserves. I went in with absolutely zero expectations and I came out of the trip feeling so welcomed and with friends for life. 10/10 to my favourite YAS Kween of all.

Sitting for 10hrs on a bus sounds boring but honestly these were some of the best days for me ( maybe because I was hungover) but you were able to catch up on rest and chill with all your new besties! I would recommend Topdeck to anyone seriously you haven't lived if you haven't been around Europe on a bus with 50 strangers

The only word I can think of that even comes close to describing my experience on the Europe express tour with Sarah. The trip was even more than I expected, I was so nervous about being with a bunch of random people for 2 weeks but with Sarah's awesome yet embarrassing introductory games I made some amazing friends on my tour. Sarah was an excellent guide, so honest and willing to lend a hand in any situation. Our tour group had some serious party animals and Sarah wasn't afraid to join in and have a good time. She was super knowledgable about the different countries we were visiting and different languages we would interact with. Our tour obviously used a top deck coach, the best one in my opinion
