I was guided on my Vietnam Adventure by Ryan. There is no question that Ryan couldn't answer, including 'where can I get spring rolls with net rice paper?' He simply had a think, perhaps a google, and…I was guided on my Vietnam Adventure by Ryan. There is no question that Ryan couldn't answer, including 'where can I get spring rolls with net rice paper?' He simply had a think, perhaps a google, and sure enough on the menu for lunch in Hoi An before heading to the tailors were crispy spring rolls (the ones I was after).
Ryan gave us run downs on each place we were heading to, and supported the local guides when necessary, e.g. Talk a little louder, or clarified something they were saying when we looked a little confused.
His food recommendations were pretty spot on. With every night out proving to be a success with our group bond becoming tighter with every day.
Ryan quickly fixed any problems with accomodation, with us being a non-smoking room that smelt of smoke, he quickly spoke to reception and we immediately changed rooms.
Ryan definitely made the trip relaxing and enjoyable for all making sure everyone felt included (we had a broad age range) and did not pressure people into doing everything with the group, e.g. Occasionally some people chose to have quiet dinners with a travel companion rather than the group. Ryan would give some suggestions of places they might like to try, make sure they knew how to get there and knew the meeting time for the following day.

The accomodation was great, very central and all working wifi. I loved all the places we went during the Vietnam Adventure and loved that we visited some lesser explored locations such as Mai Chau and Fong Na. This was my second Busabout trip and I will be using them again in the future.

The accomodation was much more comfortable than I imagined it would be with hot showers and delicious breakfasts waiting for us. Our guide, Ryan, was also incredible going out of his way to make sure everyone was having the best time. He was always up for a chat and a drink and made sure to fill us in on the long history of Vietnam. Although we had a horrible bus one day he was quick to sort it out and make sure it didn't happen for any of our other trips. In him I've not only found someone I can turn to for future south east Asia travel advice but also a friend I can share some witty banter with. The optional excursions on this tour were also fabulous. Especially the caves and the secret tour. I loved that when possible the company used local guides to further our experience. Highly recommend Busabout's Vietnam adventure to anyone and everyone.

From our first introduction to Ryan he has been a wonderful, professional' kind guide. He is a born leader and was extremely knowledgeable of the places we visited on the tour. If anyone in the group needed information or arrangements Ryan followed through promptly. He made everyone feel welcomed and included. He has exceptional people skills. He is everything you want in a tour guide and his company is very lucky to have him. We have no complaints just positive and wonderful memories. We felt very safe. All the hotels were above are expectations.

When he didn't know something or wasn't 100% sure he was always willing to go the extra mile to find out for us. He was always up for a laugh and drink with the 20 Aussies on the tour which is a pretty incredible accomplishment hehe. Highly recommend him and this tour for others thinking about going on it!

My mate and I travelled through Cambodia over Christmas with Ryan Robson as our tour guide. It was really well run tour group with both Ryan as an international guide and excursions with local guides.…My mate and I travelled through Cambodia over Christmas with Ryan Robson as our tour guide. It was really well run tour group with both Ryan as an international guide and excursions with local guides. From the somber history and temples to the prestine beaches and great party spots there was good range of activities. The accommodation choices we thought could have been more adventurous at times but it did not take away much from the trip. Ryan really went out of his way to make the trip work, quickly dealing with issues like flat tire on the bus and ensuring the older couple in the group felt included. I would really recommend this trip.

The tour by far has been the highlight of my 6 months on the road. I was very pleased by the accommodation, additional activities and restaurant/bar recommendations. In particular, I was astonished by our guide, Ryan Robson's, knowledge and dedication to his job. From constantly ensuring that everyone was having a great time and felt included to being awake to greet the first passenger in the morning and the last awake to ensure the last passenger was safe in their room, I could not have asked for a better guide.

Fantastic nine days spent with an amazing group travelling through Cambodia to see the hilights. We are mature age and the tour leader and the rest of the group were extremely generous with their time…Fantastic nine days spent with an amazing group travelling through Cambodia to see the hilights. We are mature age and the tour leader and the rest of the group were extremely generous with their time and patients ensuring we were ok all the way along. A special mention to our tour leader Ryan for his great leadership and organisational skills as nothing fazed him. Thanks Ryan, for making this a most memorable trip.

I'm pretty sure I just met some of the best people in the world. My belly is full with delicious food, my soul is enriched, my thirst for adventure quenched...I had so many firsts...ate tarantula, cri…I'm pretty sure I just met some of the best people in the world. My belly is full with delicious food, my soul is enriched, my thirst for adventure quenched...I had so many firsts...ate tarantula, cricket, rat...had my feet picked at by fish in tanks, learned a lot about Cambodian culture/history but even more about South African and Australian culture from my new friends, laughed a ton, represented the US in a beer snorkel funneling contest, schooled everyone at Heads Up, showed the natives how to Nae Nae...each day was so much different than the next. I'm sad to be going home but am happy to have had such an amazing trip. I don't know if I "found myself" but I'd like to think I'll take away more than a couple of awesome t-shirts, way too many bracelets and badass pictures. I'm recharged and ready to make 2017 my bitch...exactly what you want out of a vacation. A lot of this was due to our fearless tour leader Ryan Robson. So enthusiastic, fun and considerate. He really went out of his way to make sure everyone was always having a great time, was never left out or uncomfortable- even the less social members of the group. I wish everyone in this world took as much pride in their job as he does.

This is the second trip I have had with Busabout and as before I do not have a single bad word about the company. Accommodation as usual exceeded my expectations as well as the transport.
Ryan Robson was my tour guide who I can't thank enough for making this experience a brilliant one. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited and provided a lot of recommendations on what to do and see etc. Whilst in Pakbeng it was also my birthday so during the trip on the slow boat to Luang Prabang I wasn't 100%. Ryan made sure that I didn't leave anything behind and made sure I was hydrated and well feed so that I was better when we arrived in Luang Prabang. Whilst helping me he also made sure everyone else was okay and that the journey was an enjoyable one. His ability to look after everyone in the group was consistent throughout the trip which put a lot of us at ease and made us feel a lot safer in a foreign country.
I would recommend Busabout to anyone, they have been a great company and I will definitely be booking through them again!

Had a brilliant trip with Busabout and accommodation exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't have been able to pick better accommodation myself! Travel also matched the accommodation, all trips has aircon and plenty of space to stretch out!
Busabout's tour guide Ryan Robson also exceeded my expectations. He was extemely knowledgeable of all the places we visited and provided recommendations daily on what to do, where to eat and what prices were reasonable. It was great to have a tour guide that was informative and social. He always made sure everyone was involved in the group and no one was left out. If any issues occurred, such as the aircon not working in someone's room, he'd be straight on the case to fix things. During our journey to and from Pai (762 bends in the road) he also comforted a girl who suffered from travel sickness throughout in order to try and make her feel as comfortable as possible. This, in my opinion, is going beyond his role and Busabout should be proud to have such a great asset in the team.
Would recommend Busabout to anyone, they have been a great company throughout and I will definitely be booking through them again in the near future!

From the moment I met my guide Ryan Robson I felt at ease. He was very down to earth and I could tell he really cared about if we 23rd going to enjoy our time together or not.
I found the transport was ok. Majority of the time we were in a private mini bus which suited us perfectly as we were a small group. If we had of been larger I feel that the type of transport we had could have been quite squishy. In regards to the accommodation it was to the standard I expected. Clean beds, working power points and tvs, adequate wifi and clean bathrooms.
Overall I had an amazing experience, which was also my first time out of the country. I would not hesitate to travel with busabout in the future.

Then, however comes Ryan Robson, one of the funniest and most charismatic dudes I've ever met. He was positive, helpful and extremely friendly. He always made sure people were feeling good, struck conversation to make sure people were enjoying themselves, and overall went above and beyond what I expected from a tour guide. He was our tour guide, our drinking buddy, our baby sitter and most importantly our friend. I have met maybe 4 other good tour guides in my life, but I'd choose Ryan over them in a heart beat. Dude single handedly turned our trip around and created a memorable experience for everyone. 10/10 would trip and slide down the forests of pai again.

The whole 9-days was very organized and I feel that we got a good taste of different parts of Cambodia & saw the culture all around. I was very pleased with our guide, Ryan, who went above and beyond to not only make the 9 days enjoyable, but to get to know his passengers and help whenever needed. Based on this Busabout adventure and it being my first one, I would definitely consider doing another Busabout tour in the near future!

I didn't have any big expectations of Cambodia, but I had heard from friends that it is a good country to visit. The country and the tour outdid themselves. The country is filled with amazing people who are humble. polite, and happy to educate you on their history and culture. The tour itself was a good mixture of exploring and down time. We went to towns and cities I hadn't thought of researching or visiting when reading up on Cambodia, and I believe that it gave me a better understanding of its people and the culture. Our guide on the trip was Ryan, who did a great job of informing us on what to see in our down time and (more importantly) where to eat. He made an effort to get to know his passengers and include everyone to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. He was approachable and would answer any questions we had as best as he could. I would highly recommend the tour and will be using BusAbout again in the future.

He exceeded expectations. He genuinely cared so much about all of the passengers and tried to make sure everyone was looked after and having a great time! I cannot wait to do another tour with him one day soon and will definitely recommend Busabout to anyone!

I have been on a number of tours and travelled quite a bit solo in the past and this experience is up there as one of my favourites to date.
The locations we went to were excellent with a mixture of the normal tourists destinations as well as some more 'off the beaten' track visits, one being a homestay.
The excursions offered were good, well priced and managed perfectly by the guide.
Accommodation was of a great standard with no issues in any of my rooms. In fact, they were of much higher quality than I had anticipated given the price of the trip.
Travel days are comfortable in air-conditioned buses, all of which had wifi meaning I could connect back home in the down time.
What really stood out for me was the extra mile the guide went to. Ryan was not only knowledgeable about every location we went to and its history, he had taken the time to ensure that he could take care of us from every aspect. From recommending good laundries, to sourcing great local cuisine that was authentic and tasty Ryan had it all covered. While not part of his duites as a guide, as he was effectively 'off the clock' once we arrived and were settled, he also made a genuine effort to connect the group socially and was out and about with us, should we wish to join, every evening looking for good drinks deals. I also saw him regularly look for wifi so he could be reached on his mobile at all times if we needed him. He was also exceptionally conscious of our safety and made a genuine effort to make sure we all got home should we separate. The best guide I've ever had or expect to have for that matter.
I would do this trip again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone interested in experiencing the beautiful country that is Vietnam!

I did a Busabout tour through Cambodia. The accommodations were STELLAR, and I can comfortably say that based on where I stayed in Asia when I wasn't with Busabout haha. The food was mostly pretty good except that I did get sick. I can't see that being Busabout's fault, and is probably either my own weak constitution or sanitary practices as a whole in Cambodia. We saw many amazing sites along the way, and for the most part, I feel everything was well planned. We had an exceptional tour guide who made sure the partiers got to party, the chillers got to chill, and when I had bad news from home, he had me smiling in minutes and made me feel better. AND checked up on me every day after. I could have been miserable because of the heat, food, and sad news, but instead had a fabulous trip. I accredit most of that to Ryan the guide and the excellent people on the trip. And maybe drinking the beer out of the snorkel :p

The tour consisted of 2-3 days in each of the major towns and cities in Vietnam as well as an overnight stay in a traditional stilt house in a Mai Chau - a small village in the mountains. The accommodation was all 3-4* hotels that were fantastic and chosen for their location as well as facilities so all of the major attractions were easy to get to. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgable and take you to all of the best restaurants and bars as well as the best attractions to ensure you get the best experience! Local guides are also used to provide local knowledge and experience. Transport is in private coaches with wifi So you don't even have to think about how you're getting from place to place. Definitely worth travelling with Busabout.

The tour was better than I expected in that we were really well looked after by our guide but we also had a lot of flexibility to do our own thing if we wanted.

There was a great deal of flexibility with regards to activities, though the organised tours were fantastic and I would highly recommend doing all of the optional extras.
I met heaps of amazing people, everyone on tour was friendly and open to trying new things. It was a very diverse group of people in terms of nationalities, age, etc.
Finally, the tour ran incredibly smoothly thanks to our awesome tour guide. I can't thank him enough for the trip.

The guide was great, very knowledgable and helpful. The accommodation was good also we stayed in hotels. The weather was awesome.
