2 Countries - Thailand & Cambodia

I have done things I would nev…I have just finished my trip to Thailand and Cambodia volunteering with the elephants and teaching children in Cambodia. This experience for me has been life changing. I have done things I would never ever thought I would do, I have met people from all parts of the world that will remain friends forever. Our homestay family in we're the best and welcomed us into their home and their hearts. The elephant experience was just up there with the best, and who would have known this 66 year old would be so good at cutting bamboo and plastering. We, in our group had such a fantastic time we are planning another trip. However it has to be said that our trip would not have been such a fun time without our beautiful and wonderful leader Patti, she was there when we had a problem, she was there at every corner when we were out walking the elephants and she was there when some of us were sick and also if we were having a wee moment of homesickness, but most of all she was there to support us and boy did she do that along with a great big dose of humour. I can't remember the last time I have laughed so much. Thank you Patti for that.

Emma Paton of all the guides Ive met on various tours, took the time to get to know each person, to understand each person and form some sort of relationship with each of us - share knowledge and always upbeat even though traveling can be exhausting.
The accommodation was just below average. Paros accommodation (Siroccos) was great. And Ios (far out)
The rate for the flexi Hopper was way too much (as the only thing we actually received was transport)?
Its not good at all.

I had the best tour! So much fun on all the islands, and a really cool group of people along the way. Was great being able to stay longer in places, but I recommend not staying longer on Mykonos, Ios …I had the best tour! So much fun on all the islands, and a really cool group of people along the way. Was great being able to stay longer in places, but I recommend not staying longer on Mykonos, Ios was so much better. The tour guides were all great, but we loved Ben, he's such a babe!

In a country like Greece, where not everything runs on time and it can be a little hectic, having a well planned trip with trained guides makes the journey so much more enjoyable and taking the stress out of your hands. As a Flexi, I was able to take full advantage of the many cultural experiences Busabout had to offer, such as culinary delights, traditional plate smashing and boat trips to secluded beaches and idyllic swim spots. However, I was also able to have some down time if required, but why would I?!
With guides like Ben and Emma, fostering friendships couldn't have been any easier. They were a complementary and dynamic duo, mingling with our entire cohort, bringing everybody together and making the effort to get to know every person on our tour. It definitely made you feel like you were part of a family. Their charismatic and energetic personalities were crucial to keeping us feeling positive after a big night out.
As a Flexi I booked private rooms, so while it varies from the Fixed offer, everything was fantastic and service at all of our accommodation was excellent. The Greeks are so hospitable!
Highly recommend a Busabout tour for anybody who would like a fantastic, stress-free Greek island experience

Greek Island Flexi-Hopper was the last country on my 10 week holiday and definitely my favourite. I was lucky enough to have Emma as my guide and without doubt the best guide I had throughout my trip.…Greek Island Flexi-Hopper was the last country on my 10 week holiday and definitely my favourite. I was lucky enough to have Emma as my guide and without doubt the best guide I had throughout my trip. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Greek islands and culture which I didn’t expect from this trip. Her personality is amazing, so happy and bubbly if there were more Emmas in the world, the world would be a magical place. But the best thing was she made everyone feel welcomed and made sure everyone had fun. Oh and did I mention she loved to dance. If you have the opportunity to do this trip I would definitely recommend it and if your lucky enough to get Emma your going to have a great time

Always bubbly and energetic and ready happy to answer any questions. Most of our accommodation was nice but there were a couple of places that were quite dirty and didn't look like the rooms and bathrooms had been cleaned for a long time. I would definitely recommend the Island Hopper to friends and family as it was a good way to see as much as we could in a short time. Emma had everything organised for us and we didn't have to think about anything.

Greece and the islands are incredibly beautiful as is but Emma took our tour to the next level. The amount of energy, fun, smiling and love she constantly has is ridiculous. Emma was unbelievable, Emma was fun, easy approachable, very knowledgeable…I have been traveling for 3 months solo and just finished my travels in Greece. I just had the best week of my 3 months away. Emma was unbelievable, Emma was fun, easy approachable, very knowledgeable and was always making sure the group was getting the best out of the tour. I could not fault this trip in anyway and I am already planning my trip back there next year. Thanks Emma for such a fantastic trip.

Emma knew her shit and told us stories about the history of all the places we went to as if she had actually lived it. She was so much fun on the nights out and made an effort to be super inclusive. She was always in touch with the group to update us on what was happening that day/night. We always knew what was going on. Having a tour guide like Emma really made my trip. She is very knowledgable and so much fun. She is always up for a dance and is such a lovely, funny and down to earth person. Very positive personality! I have definitely made some new friends from my trip which I will cherish for life. If I do busabout again, I hope I would get Enma as my guide

Such an enthusiastic tour guide! I do not know how she was not exhausted...but somehow she was always happy, knowledgable, and excited to share Greece with us! Her passion for her job really rubbed off on all of us and I would love to do another trip with her soon!
