My trip to India was one I will treasure forever, and Ankita is a key part of what made it so special. Thank you, Ankita, for all your time and effort, organisation and guidance, your sense of humour and ability to make each day so fun.
This is what I wrote on the Intrepid site: From fabulous forts to women's cooperatives, and from wonderfully memorable train journeys to a night sleeping under the stars in the desert, what a treat it…This is what I wrote on the Intrepid site: From fabulous forts to women's cooperatives, and from wonderfully memorable train journeys to a night sleeping under the stars in the desert, what a treat it was to share so many of the wonders of Rajasthan with a great group of women from six countries. And having the awesome Ankita as our guide made the experience even more special and lots of fun too - she was amaaaazing! I would have no hesitation in recommending this trip...and I just wish Intrepid did more women-only ones!

She is an incredibly thoughtful and caring guide, constantly making sure everyone on the trip is comfortable no matter their age, fitness level, or travel experience. Ankita is well informed and a fantastic storyteller. Her passion for India’s history and culture is wonderful, and she made our experiences in each location richer and more meaningful!

The IJ Women’s Tour of Rajasthan was excellent- from start to finish. Itinerary was excellent with a mix of ‘must see’ key tourist hot spots, as well as engaging in things that one may not have done w…The IJ Women’s Tour of Rajasthan was excellent- from start to finish. Itinerary was excellent with a mix of ‘must see’ key tourist hot spots, as well as engaging in things that one may not have done with not being guided. There was also good scope for added activities and down time. Accommodation was very impressive. What made the Tour as great as it was was our Tour Guide Ankita who was a superb leader. Excellent communication, guidance, kept us together, we never missed a bus or a train, great knowledge passed through eg - on the bus rides and the local food markets, and has a great sense of humour. She was able to keep us together as a group and managed all the different personalities and age ranges very well. Having someone to ´speak’ the language, negotiate services and tipping etc made things so much easier. Ankita also showed great flexibility when it was necessary. IJ’s is very lucky to have Ankita on staff, and our group were very blessed to have her as our Tour Guide.
I had the most amazing time on the women's trip around Rajasthan in India! The group was amazing and the people we met where very interesting and inspiring. The group was amazing and the people we met where very interesting and inspiring. The hotels and food places we went to where excellent and the trips to things like the Thar desert where beautiful and fun. Ankita was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, organized and professional but also was a part of the group and a friend to all of us. I felt like I learnt a lot on this trip and I came away feeling really refreshed and inspired about the future. It was an amazing experience and certainly something I won't soon forget!
