There are so many reasons why I loved this trip but the most important and integral reason was due to the ✨sensational✨ Tess ❤️ she was an absolutely incredible tour guide and I am so privileged to ha…There are so many reasons why I loved this trip but the most important and integral reason was due to the ✨sensational✨ Tess ❤️ she was an absolutely incredible tour guide and I am so privileged to have had her, especially for my first solo trip. First and foremost her authentic enthusiasm and energy for every island and activity we took part in made the trip so much more enjoyable! She was so knowledgable about literally everything and despite knowing she’s done this trip a good few times before, she didn’t seem bored of it - or us - at all! Everything we did she met with a pure abundance of joy and excitement.
But more importantly, Tess was so kind, compassionate and friendly. Whether I was belly laughing with her until I couldn’t breathe (normally at her accidentally making an absolute fool of herself?) , dancing till I dropped or even if I was just feeling anxious and needed a shoulder to cry on, she was there through everything. I can’t credit her enough for everything she did❤️ One of my favourite memories will always be us singing ABBA (basically at the top of our lungs & annoying everyone around us) watching Mamma Mia in Santorini!
In terms of the itinerary, I felt there were some days when I didn’t feel as though I had made the most of my time; specifically Mykonos or Santorini. I think a part of this was due to being so far out from the ‘town’/busier parts of the islands as we obviously had to travel to get into them. Santorini especially, on our last full day we didn’t do anything until we watched the sunset in Ouia at about 5pm. Whilst I guess it meant we could do what we wanted during the day (and sleep in!), I felt the location of where we stayed didn’t have a whole lot to offer in our free time in comparison to Athens and Ios. I appreciate the accommodation would be more expensive moving into the hub of the island, but I just felt like I didn’t have that much to do in the day and was waiting for our activity/ies in the evening. Importantly though, this is NOT a reflection on Tess at all but more just a point about the itinerary in general ❤️
The only other point I’d like to add was the accommodation in Mykonos was not what was advertised with the photos on the website. I didn’t mind the accommodation, however I felt like I had been mislead a bit by the photos and was quite surprised to rock up to a beach hut, essentially. I do think given the price I payed, the accommodation in Mykonos could have been nicer.
Overall, I loved this trip though and I am so incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful memories to take away, as well as friends for life❤️

Female’s Flying Solo made it so easy to book the tour and I would definitely go through them again. Everything was well organized and planned out to even the smallest detail. Tess was an exceptional tour guide with a natural gift for guiding. The experience would not have been what it was without her. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was very attentive to all of us. I could not have asked for a more caring, genuine and warm person to show me around Greece. The itinerary itself provided a little bit of everything. She always knew the best spots for stunning photo ops and delicious food. I’d join another tour with her in a heartbeat!

I did the 9 day Greece Island Hopper and met the most wonderful people, had the best experiences possible and lived my Pinterest dream. I honestly don’t think my trip would’ve been the same without my sensational guide Tess, she was the ultimate hype girl for photos, so kind, informative & funny. She made me feel so safe and comfortable as this was my first solo travel trip, she answered every question, took all the photos, had fun with us. Tess is the big sister I didn’t know I needed on this trip, I’m already looking forward to my next trip but hoping there’ll be another one on the cards with Tess as my guide again! If you’ve yet to try solo travelling, this is by far the best trip to go with, and I’m so glad I finally got the guts to book it!

I had such an incredible time on my trip with Trutravels! It was so well organised and fun. As a 27y/o solo skier it was so lovely to go skiing in a group of like minded outgoing people, and to have a facilitator like Tess made things so much better as she is very familiar with the mountains so showed us all the best slopes, and is also familiar with Andorra so knew all of the best places to spend time outside of skiing! She also distributed her time really well with the more experienced and less experienced skiiers, as when the beginners did the morning lessons she would take us to the red/black slopes to have fun and by the time we were tired we would spend the afternoon with the newbies and have fun all together! And if some experienced skiiers wanted to continue the rush, they would continue in groups separately so no one was ever alone! Can’t recommend Tess enough, she is an absolute machine and does not stop hustling with her positive attitude!!

I do not know where to start or how to express quite how incredible this skiing experience was… I have done group trips and tours all over the world and this one has exceeded every expectation I could…I do not know where to start or how to express quite how incredible this skiing experience was… I have done group trips and tours all over the world and this one has exceeded every expectation I could possibly have had! As a solo female traveller I never questioned my safety, not even once! I have made friends to last a lifetime and our guide Tess could literally start her own travel company, she’s the best guide I’ve EVER EVER EVER had (she has not asked me to say this!!!!) Love her or you will eventually lose her, give her an award, a raise, a promotion, a hug or some flowers PLEASE!! There was nothing we couldn’t ask of her, we felt so comfortable and included by her aura that we we are now firm friends and are already planning the reunion! As a group we have asked Tess to let us know what trips she is running in the future so that we can all book specifically with her, I don’t think there could be any higher praise than that! The community in Andorra thrives around Tess, every restaurant, bar, ski shop, hotel etc. that we walked into welcomed us with open arms and those relationships are a testament to Tess’ incredible personality and social skills! The food, accomodation, the girls, the safe, inclusive, fun atmosphere… The VIBES were just immaculate! I am already considering booking again next year, I have told all my friends how much I reccomend it (including those who can’t ski - there is something for everyone!!) and will shout about Tess, TruTravels, GalsWho and the Andorra Ski trip quite literally from the mountain tops! Thank you for all you do to give us such incredible experiences, I am forever grateful!
Really stepped out of my comfort zone and couldn’t have asked for a better group and leader (Tess) to do so. It was such a fun, invigorating and unique experience to say the least.

She without a doubt made our trip what it was and was responsible for the bond all 26 of us had - if we needed a shoulder to cry on, a hype woman, a boost of energy, laugh, or nurse, Tess was there! She was so full of life and her entire vibe was contagious! She planned fun activities for us and took on board what we wanted to do and when. She made sure we were safe and cared for at all times - she was so patient and encouraging with the girls that couldn’t ski too. She also made sure to capture so many memories for us which are invaluable to look back on.
I can’t wait to book another TruTravels tour and request Tess as my guide - I’m older than her but want to be her! Shes just the best person and an even better guide!

The ski trip as a whole was brilliant, having never skied before I was nervous but the lessons arranged by Tru were great and had us skilled enough to join the pros of the group on some challenging slopes by mid week!
I would highly recommend this trip, Tess and Tru travels to anyone wanting to get out of their comfort zone and experience making life long friends and sharing amazing memories together!

Tess was super fun, energetic, personable. This lady did not take a moment to rest, she was constantly making sure everyone was looked after and had a smile on their face. I never in a million years thought I would find myself flying to a different country to meet 26 strangers and it end with me having such beautiful friendships and memories. I did not want to leave such a beautiful country but mostly I did not want to leave all the amazing girls.
It has been such a beautiful experience filled with so much laughter and that is largely thanks to our wonderful tour guide Tess. I felt so nervous to join the trip but Tess instantly calmed me down before I had even gotten the privilege to meet her. If I needed Tess at any point on the trip she was there at any time without complaint. Tess was up every two hours to check on a girl in the night when she wasn’t feeling well, and I think that sums up how lovely of a person she is. I will be travelling with TruTravels again and I will 100% be requesting to have Tess as my leader as she made a foreign country feel like home.

Tess followed the itinerary to see that we experienced every landmark and activity that was promised. She was adaptive whenever obstacles occurred and consulted with the group to let us know if anything changed to make sure we were okay with them. Her kindness and energy is unmatched. Tess definitely kept all our spirits up and made every moment a cherished memory. Tess wasn’t just a tour guide she became a friend and someone we can all count on. The itinerary was overall super complete, we got to experience the most of every city we visited (both turistic sites and not so turistic but equally wonderful sites).
Tess was our tour guide and I must say she is one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. Not only was Tess patient and kind but also super positive and optimistic throughout the whole trip. She is extremelly profissional and did an incredible job guiding a group of 19 girls around Europe. In my opinion, Tess is an incredible person with the most energetic and contagious energy. She was always super atentive to everyone, making sure we were all having the time of our lives.
I believe this trip was very well organized as everything went pretty smoothly and the balance between planned activities and free time was perfect. All the information we needed was provinded on the right time and the right way. We were also given tips of foods to try and Christmas markets to explore.
I highly recommend Tess and TruTravels for anyone who wants to have an unforgetable experience while travelling.
