The accommodations were always clean and comfy, and the transportation in the van was smooth (though we did hop into taxis a few times). The itinerary was spot-on, balancing iconic spots like Chichen Itza with relaxing vibes at Holbox and Bacalar. Meals were in great locations, but I loved having the option to explore on my own too!
Evelyn, our guide from Mexico City, was the highlight. Funny, knowledgeable, and always ready to help, she made every day feel special. Whether we were diving into cenotes or learning about Mayan history, she brought the experience to life. Highly recommend this trip—it’s one for the books!

We were quite unlucky with the weather but she always ensured we had a good time and swapped around activities to fit with the rain, highlights for me were the boat trip in Bacalar and visiting the Cenotes!

Although we had 4 group members who did not want to integrate into the group (2 of them even Tourradar employees), she handled this difficult situation great. I miss her cheerful nature!

The trip was planned very well, ensuring we h…I have just completed the 11 day Yucatán tour with TruTravels, during which I met a great group of people and had the pleasure of having Eve as our ninja. The trip was planned very well, ensuring we had an equal balance of exciting adventurous activities planned and enough time to relax and unwind. At no point did I feel that any of the activities were rushed or dragged on for too long. A particular highlight for me was the lagoon boat trip in Bacalar; the experience was incredible and truly one that I will cherish forever. Well, what can I say - Eve was a fantastic tour leader from beginning to end! Before the trip, she did a brilliant job of informing the group of key information as well as providing tips that would help us on our trip. For those of us, who were new to travelling and/or were solo, she is put us at ease and made sure that we were included at all times. All of us in the group asked copious amounts of questions daily, which she answered in depth and without hesitation, no matter how silly or unimportant it may have seemed. She laughed with us, encouraged us to party, took us to CocoBongo and made it a truly special trip. Additionally, her broad knowledge about the destinations, tequila & mescal and the denotes (which we all loved) was brilliant and it was clear that she really knows her stuff. She could not have done more for us! Also, one of our drivers Pepe, was amazing too. He joined in with the jokes and made the journeys super enjoyable, despite some being a little lengthy. Thank you for such an outstanding trip and for helping us all to create such treasured memories!!!

A once in a lifetime adventure filled with some of the best culture, sights and experiences! All of which would not have been possible without the best tour guide Eve!!! Even 6 months on I'm still rav…A once in a lifetime adventure filled with some of the best culture, sights and experiences! All of which would not have been possible without the best tour guide Eve!!! Even 6 months on I'm still raving about this trip and I still have friends asking me about the tour. There are so many highlights I could share but the two that I will always cherish is spending time in Merida dancing the night away in the local town festival/carnival - the locals made us feel so welcome and it was pure vibes and wholesomeness. Secondly spending my birthday in Bacalar, Eve went above and beyond to make it so memorable, pulling all there stops with a crown, boat party and of course cake! Thanks so much Tru and especially Eve for an unforgettable trip of a lifetime! :)

It was my birthday on the trip and i never mentioned it but she made sure it was celebrated and I felt very special on my birthday - thank you Evelyn. She was very knowledgable (around food, culture, history the list could go on) and made sure we had fun! ❤️ every single accommodation was lovely, stylish and comfy able. We went places I wouldn’t have thought have going alone. My fave places were isla holbox and bacalar. I’m 100% going to be booking my next trip with Tru travels soon :) the organisation of the trip was second to none- loved it :)

Awesome trip, great way to see so much of Mexico in a short space of time. Top moments were the beach at Holbox, swimming in the 7 colours lagoon, experiencing the cenotes, all the guacamole, delicious breakfast recommendations, seeing Xichen Itsa and biking in Tulum. Our guide was Eve and she was THE BEST. We have done a bunch of other trips and she was by far the most personable, creative, fun, lovely person with a lot of experience and wonderful ability to share her knowledge with us. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to party and catch a lot of culture all in one trip. I loved that the group was only 10 people, gave us a chance to meet everyone and there wasn’t a divide in the group nor too many people.

I combined this tour with the Belize and Guatemala trip, which connected perfectly and made for an unforgettable Central American adventure. Highly recommended if you're looking to make the most out of your journey!

It was my birthday on the trip which I didn’t mention when booking but she was lovely enough to celebrate me and made me feel so special on my birthday. She’s very knowledgeable about the tour, places we went. Always made sure we were ok, I felt if I wasn’t ,I could go to her for help. I honestly got very lucky getting Eve- she’s AMAZING! I hope to do another tour with Tru travels and if I got her again it would be a dream!

She made everyone feel so comfortable whether it was our first trip or our th and made sure everything was taken care of. Everything ran so smoothly and it was always down to her hard work (even taking a turn making drinks when the bar staff were slow!). She clearly has huge expertise and could offer recommendations for every location and requirement and had really great insights which she was always happy to share. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did and anyone would be lucky to have her as their guide!

Having not travelled with TruTravels before I was a little anxious regarding the process, but all my worries were laid to rest as we sat together for our first meal as a team.
Eve made an amazing effort to get to know each of us personally, understanding our likes, dislikes and what we each wanted to get out of our time in Mexico, which she delivered effortlessly. No question or query was unanswered, and we all felt we’d found a true friend in our guide.
I cannot thank Eve enough for encouraging me to get involved in the activities, knowing how much it would better my experience, yet I never felt pressured or forced into anything. She explained how great the Rapid day would be and even our night out at Coco Bongos, but allowed me to decide myself which I’m very grateful for. She was right… both experiences were fantastic!
Eve made my Mexico adventure truly unforgettable. Her kindness, professionalism and sense of fun made it an experience I will never forget.

Our your guide was Eve and she has the best knowledge of the country and super helpful and nothing was a struggle or too much and made the tour really enjoyable for all ages. Highly recommend this trip if you’re planning Mexico.

I felt comfortable going to her with any questions I had as she was very welcoming and full of information. Eve was able to explain the history of the places we were going and made sure that everything was in place to make our travelling experience as quick and easy as possible. This was my first Trutravels trip and I will definitely be booking again. The support we all received was incredible, everything was explained, right from getting from the airport to the first hotel, all the way to the end. I can’t recommend this trip enough and to have Eve as a guide was a pleasure.

We got hit with some bad weather in holbox particularly but also throughout the trip, eve made sure everyone was still in good spirits and having a good time, she had all the good recommendations of places to eat/drink etc and I couldn’t rate her highly enough!

We had a fantastic time overall! A few bits that could make it even better but overall the places we visited and times spent were suitable. It was a good mix of party and sightseeing. Food options were great and managing to take into account all dietary needs was great. Really great tour for younger people wanting to visit a region and not just sit on a beach in one hotel!
We had some small things that could be improved. Prior to the tour officially started we were offered an optional catamaran activity with snorkeling. The catamaran was totally over sold with no way of moving around of laying out. Hotels in Tulum and Merida were not great - compared to the others I would suggest hunting for a new option here.
