I booked my trip to Sri Lanka with One Life Adventures on a bit of a whim because my sister told me to, she went to the Philippines back in 2018 and said how fantastic the tour company was and she was…I booked my trip to Sri Lanka with One Life Adventures on a bit of a whim because my sister told me to, she went to the Philippines back in 2018 and said how fantastic the tour company was and she was right! Before travelling to Sri Lanka, I had never been to Asia or anywhere beyond Europe, the US and Canada but I wanted to challenge myself and the tour definitely challenged me in the best way possible!
Tour guide Seb and local guide Ravi were brilliant, they were so friendly and supportive and made me feel really welcomed. They were so knowledgeable and the insight they gave into the country was amazing. Everything about the tour was fab (apart from the rain, but you can’t have everything right?!), the people, the animals, the epic views were all incredible! Highlights for me included hikes up Sigiriya Rock and Little Adam’s Peak, optional elephant safari on day 2, Ella, the spice garden, the temples, the bike tour, tuk tuks, the beaches, the palm trees… well pretty much everything on the tour was a highlight!
I have never done a group tour before but would definitely do another one especially with One Life, maybe Japan next?!

Both Seb and Ravi have been amazing, full of knowledge and a welcoming face. I was worried about travelling with my nut allergy however this was not a problem throughout the tour. Both Ravi and Seb checking what I could have, putting all my worries at ease! Seb made the trip memorable making sure we were entertained, even on the long bus journeys between locations.
The tour was packed with adventure , exploring what Sri Lanka has to offer Incorporating tourist attractions and supporting Local, having the right balance of experiencing local culture of Sri Lanka.
All the accommodation was amazing and exceeded expectations.
We cannot wait to travel with OneLife again and would recommend to all our friends!

The tour was excellent, but anyway i missed some more free time or my own independence. But that’s a normal problem about the group trip and not a fault of the guide or agency.

Everything was so well thought through and the activities were outstanding. From physical experiences like hikes and bike tours to cooking classes and dog and turtle sanctuary, you get everything that Sri Lanka has to offer. I would definitely recommend this tour to people that love to experience new cultures, want to travel with and get to know new people and who love to do a lot of activities during their holiday. I would not recommend this tour if you are looking for a beach holiday and aren’t open for new people:)

I highly recommend to travel with One Life Adventure. The tour offers the perfect mix of exploring the beautiful Sri Lanka, time to relax and making new friends. All places can be easily reached with our own bus. Our local guide and Sebastian always had the best tips for individual requests. I will miss our group especially the evenings: playing cards or relaxing with cocktails.

They are two amazing guides I hope to meet again on another trip.
The trip included so much that I actually feel that I have been travelling for more days than I actually have. So incredible?
I would 100% recommend this trip to Sri Lanka to anyone who’s up for a lot of unforgettable memories.

Sri Lanka is the most beautiful country I’ve ever visited, the locals are so friendly the scenery is beautiful and there is a perfect mix of activities from safari to whale watching to hiking Sigiriya Rock. I travelled on my own after covid and was a bit nervous after a few years at home but as soon as I landed and met the group I felt relaxed and excited. Seb was our tour guide an did an amazing job at making sure we all had what we needed and encouraged us to get to know each other. I made the most amazing friends, had the best experiences an came home with a new matching tattoo. The Sri Lanka one life tour exceeded all of my expectations and I had the best experience of my life I wish I could do it all again but some of us are already looking at booking the Japan trip for next year. Promise if you book this tour you’ll have no regrets an come home with loads of memories and an extended travel fam from across the world!

Overall good! The guides were the best. Could have gotten more freetime to explore on your own in between all the groupstuff.

Overall really good, but wished that we could have a little more freetime, as it can fet hectick with all the activities. On the positiv side you get to see and experience alot!

OneLifeAdventure organized a wonderful tour with so many different things to see and do. The guides Rihas and Seb are very experienced and know all the details about „what to do“, history of the country, interesing facts, etc.
If you like to do various activities and get to know the country kind os as a local I would highly recommend this tour!
There is not only one highlights - there are plenty! The tour organization and the experienced guides ensure several highlights dueing travelling. I very much liked the Sigiriya hike, the cooking class, the elephant safary and the different temples we could visit.

Seb was really passionate about getting the best experience for everyone, and wanted to make sure the whole group was enjoying themselves at all times. He had so much knowledge on Sri Lanka, and gave great recommendations for things to do in our down time too, and his play lists were pretty on point too! Awesome guide all round. Rihas was our incredible local guide. He knew the answers to everything anyone asked and was so genuine and lovely to the whole group. His passion for introducing and explaining Sri Lankan culture to tourists came through in every activity. One life are also really passionate about supporting locals and the good in the community, whoch is clear on tour and i love that.
This tour covered so many incresible sites where I learnt a lot about Sri Lanka's history and culture. It was the perfect mix of activities and down time, while feeling like you could see and appreciate everything and never felt rushed. Seb and Rihas made sure we got to do everything we were hoping and were amazing guides all round.

Raffi and Seb were great guides and there was a coach with lovely staff that got us to most of the destinations, so we didn't need to take a lot of different transport. All of the accommodation we stayed at was amazing. Also extra activities were easy to arrange with our guides ????????
-Couple of bits of advice: This is a very physically active tour especially the first 4 or 5 days so make sure you are prepared for that. If you have any food allergies or dietary preferences bring a translation card with you, as otherwise you will struggle; many of the restaurants didn't understand our requests or questions. I wouldn't go again in April as the rainy season does appear to be starting earlier than it used to, so we often ended up soaked. Also you will need trainers or strong sandals for most of the hikes????
-Seeing elephants, lizards and turtles in the wild????????
-Visiting the dog sanctuary????????
-Tea picking????
-Surfing????♀️

Ravi and Seb were absolutely perfect. Both made the trip unique and unforgettable. They were always there for everyone and answered questions and requests at any time without hesitation. They were always there for everyone and answered questions and requests at any time without hesitation. If you are intrested ravi tells many exciting facts about the country. And of course seb always supports us diligently with the evening programme.
The tour is very varied, interesting and adventurous. You really get to see a lot in this short time. If you didn't feel well or needed a day off, seb and ravi always made sure you could stay in the hotel and had everything you needed (if possible).
My experience & trip with One Life Adventures was excellent. I booked quite last minute, and I received confirmation, my itinerary and contact with my tour lead quickly. I booked quite last minute, and I received confirmation, my itinerary and contact with my tour lead quickly. The itinerary was well planned out, and ran smoothly. The travel times between destinations was manageable, and made comfortable with a decent coach, as well as the tour lead providing information about the next destination and keeping us entertained. I was also impressed with the quality of accommodation. There have been tours I have previously been on where the accommodation had been extremely basic, but I was impressed with the selection of accommodation on this tour.
The only reason this tour receives 4 star instead of 5 star is purely based on the quantity of people the tour accepts. There were 22 people joined on our tour, which at time I felt was too many for some activities to be able to fully get involved, as well as too many during dinner times.
Seb, our tour lead was great. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, warm, friendly and approachable. He clearly loved his job and was keen to give us the best experience possible.
