First, the tour was not what was advertised. They say it's because of COVID, but there is no disclaimer mentioned on TourRadar and you don't find out about it until a few days before the tour begins. …First, the tour was not what was advertised. They say it's because of COVID, but there is no disclaimer mentioned on TourRadar and you don't find out about it until a few days before the tour begins. Essentially, the tour is just three days long and the third day is nothing but a ten hour car ride (with no stops for attractions). The other four days is called "shopping assistance". Basically, you just text them for advice on where to buy things. No one is actually there to accompany you. The only "guide" you have is a driver who, though very handsome, doesn't speak English very well at all and spends most of the drive picking his nose and eating his boogers. The "four star" hotel is, at best, two stars. It took tremendous effort to get them to give me a room with a desk where I could use my laptop. Initially, the room is just a full size bed with three very small garage sale quality end tables. That's it. There was no view from my room, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone else, there is no place to sit and watch the city - only a restaurant and it requires purchase to sit down and the view is mostly obscured by plants in front of you. The hamam, spa, and fitness rooms are permanently closed. No pool.
This was my very first guided tour. I hope to God they aren't all like this and I am very hesitant to try another TourRadar tour.
