Unfortunately, my tour had to be stopped effective immediately as Philippines was going into lockdown, so me and the rest of the group had to get back to Manila within 36 hours! Our tour guide (Tommy)…Unfortunately, my tour had to be stopped effective immediately as Philippines was going into lockdown, so me and the rest of the group had to get back to Manila within 36 hours! Our tour guide (Tommy) and One Life Adventures helped book our last minute flights from Puerto Princesa to Manila so we wouldn't be stranded for 30 days! The tour itinerary is amazing, however due to COVID-19 we were not able to visit the prison and also due to some unforeseen circumstances where one person in our group had a temperature led to us having a lot of waiting around and uncertainty if we would be able to continue the tour as planned. Fortunately, she is fine, but unfortunately the lockdown came into effect. All is not bad, whilst this was going on, we all were on an island for 2 days so we can't complain being quarantined in paradise as oppose to being locked indoors. One day I would love to come back to the Philippines and complete this tour and experience it completely.
One of the biggest highlights of the trip before it sadly came to an end, was our tour guide (Tommy); considering it was his second trip he handled everything so well. Considering everyone had so many questions with being quarantined, to being lockdown and having to get out of Puerto Princesa asap, Tommy handled everything calmly and positively, he was able to answer everyone’s questions and concerns and kept everyone full of spirit when people were panicking. I had just finished a tour a couple of weeks ago in New Zealand using a tour company Contiki and the tour guide was not helpful and did not make my experience, so to have someone like Tommy who was the total opposite was a blessing! Me and the rest of our your group would love to come back and have Tommy has our guide as he was a legend at what he does, we hope when the current situation calms down we all will be reunited again.

The tour, the place and of course our guide tom were awesome! It‘s so sad that we had to end it so soon (darn corona virus)

The trip was great as long as it lasted. Because of the coronavirus there was a lot of problems, but our guide Tom handled it as good as expected in the sticky situation we were sat in. First time doing anything like this, the one life itinerary definitely included a lot of things I have never done before and may have never done if I was organising a trip myself. Tommy was an excellent informative tour guide and was always available to answer any questions! Highlight was camping on the beach and all taking part in the proposal involving two of the tour members. What an experience this has been!!!

The whole tour ran smooth from start to finish. We saw so many incredible islands and one extremely special one for me was the private island we camped at where Tom helped my now fiance to propose to me. Memories I will forever hold close to my heart.
A tour is 100% the best way to travel in the Philippines and we can't wait to book another one.
Thank you Tom for looking after us and showing us a good time!!

Tom was an incredible guide, he made us feel at home and made the tour very personal, taking time to get to know us all and spending time with each person. The group was like family and Tom made it seamless and full of endless fun. He had a very open line of communication, instantly replied and set up photo sharing. This trip was unforgettable and full of the best memories possible

I’ve had the best time ever! Tom was our tour guide and he made us all feel included at all times. We had so much fun together, and I can’t wait to meet this people again.
