Gaby was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely professional and organised, though super friendly and made you feel very welcome and a part of the group. Gaby always ensured we had a great time, but not at the cost of authentic experiences. Gaby also had perfect communication and made sure everyone knew what was going on at all times. As well as this, Gaby was very knowledgeable and historically sensitive, which is of the utmost importance in this region of Europe in particular. Gaby understood and expressed multiple perspectives of the history and disagreements in the area, and aligned her exposition with the facts. The local guides in each city were also amazing and gave an authentic experience to supplement what Gaby had told us.

Gaby was so knowledgeable which was great when learning about places that not everyone is as familiar with. She also had a great sense of humour and always knew how to make something fun. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

This is a very intense tour with little respite but Gaby ensured the group was always up for the next item on the agenda. A fantastic trip and a superb guide.

The falls were amazing, Zadar stop was…I did the Busabout Adventure Tour which was a two day tour to Plitvice National Park incorporating Krka Waterfalls and a stop in Zadar, plus an overnite camping. The falls were amazing, Zadar stop was enough time to have a swim and walk around. The dinner cooked for us by Gaby and our wonderful bus driver (sorry I forgot his name), was filling and tasty. Plitvice Lakes more than exceded my expectations. Gaby was a fantastic guide that delt with the few little hiccups we had without getting flustered and keeping her good humour throughout. I would definitely put this tour on your list and Gaby was informative about the history each place we went to.

This week sailing the Adriatic coast was one of the best weeks of my life. The setting is unbelievably beautiful, the weather was perfect and I made friends with some amazing people (including the cre…This week sailing the Adriatic coast was one of the best weeks of my life. The setting is unbelievably beautiful, the weather was perfect and I made friends with some amazing people (including the crew). A major factor in the success of this week was our guide, Gaby. She does what must be a very difficult job incredibly well and without fuss; she’ll tell you honestly when you’re out of line and she parties as hard as everyone else on the boat too! The thing I love most about Gaby, though, is her incredible depth of knowledge about the areas we sailed through and her deep respect for Croatian culture and history. Busabout are extremely lucky to have her and I’m stoked I was able to have her as my guide during my amazing week on the Viktorija.
