From the combination of scenery, food and tour guide expertise; Marija and the crew on board were able to make my Croatia trip one of the most memorable trips yet. Whilst its important to sit back relax and enjoy the sun and water in Croatia, it is equally important to understand the history surrounding you. Marija, with Croatian heritage, was able to teach fellow travellers and myself about the rich history that surrounded us which helped guide us to visit certain parts of town. Marija’s knowledge of Croatia is impeccable, you can ask her pretty much anything regarding history or geography and she will be able to answer it. Whilst keeping safety as the number one priority, Marija was able to balance having fun with the crew on and off the boat whilst keeping professional. Overall, Marija was an amazing and outstanding tour guide.

Marija showed maturity well above her age, had the perfect balance between having fun with our team and making sure everyone was safe and accounted for at all times. Marija’s knowledge of Croatia was nothing short of amazing, it is very clear when someone is very passionate about there job and not just doing it for a pay check. Marija is an asset to Bus About and will be getting the highest of recommendation on the back of her performance. At the completion of our sail week Marija was going to have 4 days off and visit her family, however was asked to cancel her plans to guide another tour. I feel this sums up her personalty to a tee, always puts others before herself which was reflected throughout our whole trip. When Marija informed the team that this was her second sail guide I was absolutely astounded, i would have thought she’d been doing sail tours for years. The only negative thing I can say about Marija would be she has a terrible poker face but other then that 10/10 well done Bus About.

She had so much knowledge about everywhere we went and was very enthusiastic about organising group events such as dinners, she also gave everyone a variety of options for activities - which was perfect !

The itinerary was switched around which was annoying because I had plans to meet with some friends. And there was a storm which kept us in a small town for 2 nights with not much to do :(
But other than that it was a fantastic week

Here is a real personality Girl that sells the Busabout 'brand' fluidly & with her own unique delivery - most refreshing after some of the lesser lights struck over 6 weeks travelling. Marija is a 'natural' & one to be looked after & developed - she will be a real asset. Enjoyed travelling with Marija, who thought on her feet & was able to get the right outcomes.
