About me:I am a Scottish lass born and bred who caught the travel bug from a young age! I am a massive film geek, chatterbox and all-round dreamer...and also very cheesy apparently! I am inspired by anyone who follows their heart and doesn't live a life of fear disguised as 'practicality'. I have the longest bucket-list in history and adore hearing other travellers stories, which I why I'm forever adding more to my list. Treating people to adventures and experiences around Europe and seeing their happy reactions is what is it's all about for me! How does she do it?! She’s extremely knowledgeable about all of the cities we visited including the history, the sites to see, places to eat, and where to grab a drink (or five). I’m only bummed I couldn’t join the tour from the beginning of the Scandi-Baltic highlights, darn work! But I am so happy I was able to at least join the Baltic leg of the tour. It was an amazing experience, and Shea’s expertise and advice made the entire tour just so great. I did continue onto the Scandinavian cities after the tour, and Shea recommended some great restaurants to try in each of the cities as well as sites to see. They were all fantastic.

In addition, Warsaw is unreal so I feel that 2 days there would be a magical way to finish the tour, even though it’s not part of the Baltics.
In reference to Shea, our favourite little hobbit.... well, where to even start. Even with plague-like illnesses with little to no sleep, she still stepped up and went out of her way to make sure everyone had a good time, knew where to go and what to do! It’s never about her, it’s about everyone else and their experience.
After doing so many tours in my lifetime, I know a tour guide can make or break an experience and gosh, she made it ultimate. She will always be my favourite; energy, fun, caring, funny and entertaining!!! Busabout is lucky to have such a tour guide.

I chose it it as an introduction to the capital cities across the region - none of which I had visited before - with a view to possibly returning to some of them for a longer stay at a later date. The tour met this requirement and more! Shea was a terrific tour guide/leader She constantly shared her enthusiasm and knowledge about all the places that we were visiting and offered up plenty of options for places to see, eat and drink in each city. Without this level of insight the tour would not have been anywhere near as good as it was. Thanks also go to our driver Miguel for charting a safe passage through some occasionally 'interesting' drivers on the roads!!

Miguel was also an excellent bus driver, who always got us to places before schedule and kept a tidy coach. What a team! Thank you to you both for creating a fantastic end to my Europe travels!

Shea was great. What a fun, all-inclusive, enthusiastic guide! She has a great ability to get all passengers excited about each city and to form great connections with not just her colleagues/driver, but with those on our tour. If you love Hugh Jackman, games/infrequent pop quizzes, and a bit of a dancing/singing in the street, Shea is your guide! Shea has great insight to the culture, history and vibe on the cities we travelled to and can tell she loves her job very much.

Although accommodation isn’t always great (particularly in Berlin), it doesn’t matter because there’s amazing sites to see and the people you meet make the experience so much more.
The itinerary was great. Probably the only thing I would suggest is to have more time in Estonia and Poland, and only one night in Latvia and Lithuania. I would also suggest more experiences to do in the Baltic countries. A lot was offered for the Scandi part e.g. biking tours, ice bar, island hopping, pub crawl, which was great. Tivoli in Denmark was heavenly, the Viking Biking tour in Norway was picturesque, and the ice bar in Sweden was so much fun on a hot day.
Transportation was excellent. I was in the good hands of Miguel. Felt very safe and the pit stops were just right.
Accomodation was great, can’t complain. I was lucky to have paid extra for the twin rooms which turned out to be the right choice for me. We weren’t made aware of the separate accommodation to the rest of the group in Estonia until we arrived but it wasn’t a problem as the accommodation at Fat Margarets was perfect. It was just a bit far from the others. City Stay in Berlin I probably wouldn’t recommend however, only because the bathrooms were unhygienic.
Meals were so good. Our guide gave us so many recommendations and the ones that she told us about were perfect everytime. I’ll never forget those Swedish meatballs at Nomads and Meatballs For the People.
Shea was an amazing tour guide. I felt completely safe in the professional hands of this enthusiastic Scot. She is warm and bubbly, and radiates her passion for travel. She shares quirky facts about each country which I just loved. It’s crazy that she knows so much about each country we went to. I can’t speak highly of her enough. She was just a pleasure and such a joy. I’ll miss you Shea!

She was especially knowledgable when it came to the boat trip to the Isle of Capri, providing information about the island for Busabout travellers and other travellers not with Busabout but on the boat too!
