Had such an amazing time on this tour. Couldn’t say a bad word about it except I wish it was longer! Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Hannah as she had so much time for each individual…Had such an amazing time on this tour. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Hannah as she had so much time for each individual and was not only knowledgeable of each island we visited, but set a great tone for the trip. It included a nice amount of sight seeing, activities, beach time and drinking. So glad I got the chance to take part in this tour and met some incredible people during the process.

I've never done a guided tour to this extent before, but I'm so glad I did, primarily due to Hannah.

This trip was amazing! It was my first time to Europe and ontop of that I went as a solo traveler. Our tour guide hannah was amazing at breaking the ice for everyone. Our tour guide hannah was amazing at breaking the ice for everyone. The islands were absolutely gorgeous and the hotels were a lot better then what I was expecting. There was a good bit of night life on this tour as well but if you cant make it out all night there is always an option to get a cab back for pretty cheap. This tour was worth every penny and cant wait to go on another one as soon as possible.

I had never been on a busabout tour before & I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I was traveling solo on the flexi tour. I was able to make friends with lots of great people that hopped on & hopped off. I have been on 6 Contiki tours & 1 Top deck tour and I can say without a doubt Hannah was the best tour guide I’ve had. Especially on the Microphone! when in transit on the bus. She had an amazing knowledge of Greek Mythology & often told us great stories on the bus with excitement & a real passion for Greece culture. I remember in particular driving from a winery to watch the sunset in Oia & she told an amazing Greek mythology story, using everyone on the bus as characters, it was really entertaining! Traveling solo I feel it can make or break your trip who you end up with as your guide, I was so lucky to have Hannah. I also had to leave the tour a day earlier than I expected to catch a plane to Croatia & she was able to help me with the ferry to get back on time. It was a great experience with a 5 star guide!

Great group, great tour, great tour guide and awesome way to see Greece! Only feedback is maybe one less island and more time in the islands because or a longer tour because it does feel quite rushed when the tour focuses on partying and pub crawls and then has an early morning every other day. I was completely knackered by the end and hardly saw any of the islands! I did enjoy the pub crawls in a few islands but I wish the tour focused a few more days on day time activities and some site seeing instead of just pub crawls. The only island with a day activity was Paros and every other island we were meant to explore on our own- which nearly no one did because we were hung over from the night before's pub crawl. :-P Bit bummed about that but still a great time in Greece!

Sure, some things didn’t go to plan- but Hannah went above and beyond for our tour group and made sure that each one of us was satisfied. She is an excellent tour guide and would definitely recommend her. She was quirky and fun and was honestly one of the main reasons I enjoyed my first Busabout. She’s set the bar so high for all tour guides!

Hannah was really helpful in providing extra activity options, transport advice and she definitely made our nights out on the town more fun. Overall the tour managed to highlight both the beauty and fun of the Greek Islands. I would definitely consider travelling with this company again! Thank you Hannah for such an amazing experience!

Hannah was our tour guide I found her to have a lot of knowledge of the Greek islands which was great but she has terrible people skills, I witnessed her having altercations with a few of the boys in other groups. She doesn’t seem to be able to seperate her personal life from work, the first night we were with her on Mykonos she ended up very drunk and I didn’t feel she would be able to control a bad situation in the state she was in. I have a family member doing the same tour in a few weeks and I hope they do not get her as their guide, I am also happy that she did not affect my trip as we had that chance to join in on kiddies tour. I definitely will recommend busabout Greek island hopper but don’t believe Hannah is the best guide. Thanks

The age of this trip says 18 to 99. That is NOT ACCURATE! Being the only 2 people over 40 with 46 other guests ranging in age from 18 to 25 year old, was uncomfortable at best. It was uncomfortable fo…The age of this trip says 18 to 99. That is NOT ACCURATE! Being the only 2 people over 40 with 46 other guests ranging in age from 18 to 25 year old, was uncomfortable at best. It was uncomfortable for us (married couple, celebrating 24th anniversary) and for all the single kids that didn't want to share tables, bus seats, boats, etc, with us. And, why would they. They want to socialize with kids their own age, with similar interests. Hannah (just turned 24 herself), our guide, was kind and did her best to include us in everything. Everyone was kind. It was just extremely awkward for EVERYONE! Several of the kids asked us if we "accidentally" signed up for the wrong trip. Several bus drivers would stop us upon boarding and ask "are you with this tour". Same thing would happen at the hotels during check in. Clearly they were not used to this trip having guests older than 30. We love exploring all the islands and we are always up for a bar crawl. But, bar crawls and drinking was the primary thing offered or talked about. We heard about every "shot challenge" and club in every area we went to. As a mature women, I can have a great time at bar crawls and still expect to learn about the culture of the areas we are exploring. Maybe a wine tour or local guest guides to share about the area?? The hotel in Mykonos was unacceptable, with ants on the floor, a bed with a sheet and a shower/toilet area. The location, near the beach and club was great, but the "room" was basically camping. The very small hotel in Santorini is in the middle of nowhere, in a field and not near Oia or Firora or restaurants, a town, other hotels, etc. You are encouraged to hangout at this hotel after check in, swim in their pool and buy their drinks. It was a huge drunk party, with just our tour group. Future guests should also know about the HUGE amount of time spent on ferries, waiting for ferries or buses, waiting to check in, etc. The tickets bought for the ferry's have random seat assignments, not with your group or your travel partner. We were told to just "sit wherever we wanted". We were often forced to move to different seats when new ferry riders would board and want the seat they purchased, and spent one ferry ride sitting in the cafeteria so we could sit together. Guests transport their own luggage from their room, to the bus, to the ferry waiting area, to the ferry, to the ferry storage carts, from the ferry to the bus and to their rooms, every other day, up bridges, across huge ferry lots, through intense crowds. It is not for the weak! The hotel in Paras, Athens and Ios were nice. The optional Greek night and boat tours were fun (but you are only with your tour group). We did our best to "do our own thing" but you are forced to be with your group for a large portion of the time. Which, when you pay for a tour, you should WANT to do! :( We have done several other tours, not with Busabout, and have had incredible experiences. Busabout needs to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that this is a single, 18-25 year old group of kids that are ready to have a great time! As soon as we went to our initial meeting, I looked at this tour on the touradar site again. I found an answer under the "questions" section that gave a suggested age. I should have to search that hard to find that crucial detail! The AGE RANGE NEEDS TO CHANGE!! What a waste of my vacation time and money.
